The room was nice! Clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful in bringing us a crib, and then a fan to use for the night. The breakfast was just okay but I did like that there were options like self make pancakes and scrambled eggs. I did like the dining room feel. My kids were made to feel welcome. Easy parking. The negatives: the pool was pretty dirty. It was unexpectedly closed for 2.5 hours in the morning when my kids had their hearts set on swimming before we left. There was a lot of noise at night. I’m a light sleeper and I must have woken up half a dozen times, despite the fan noise and the white noise machine we brought from home. Minimal but the ice machine didn’t work on our floor.

The indoor pool area was overwhelming with the chlorine in the air. So much so that I was limited to the amount of time I was able to stay due to burning eyes and scratchy throat. Other than that a very pleasing experience. Good breakfast and helpful staff, clean.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The staff tried to keep families with kids on lower floors and couples and single occupants on the top floor. the pool was clean with plenty of towels. The refrigerator wasnt cold even turned up all the way. But wasnt that big a deal for us.

Staff did their best but this property was miserably overpriced for the what we received. Our room smelled like wet dog. The jacuzzi was, and I mean this literally, green and lukewarm. There are no movies to watch on tv. I paid almost 500 a night. For what? No idea and won’t be returning.

We enjoyed a very clean bedroom with comfortable beds and a spotless bathroom. The staff was very welcoming. The breakfast was great. (We had to look around but there was a tip jar on top of the milk cooler. Although it was self serve a helper delivered pancakes to our grandchildren after the automatic pancake maker needed a refill.) The pool was very large and the pool area was very clean. All in all it was a great stay.

I was surprised when we found clothes left in the closet but understood the error what I still can't believe is the dirty sock left in plain sight on the chair. The rest of our stay was good but I expect more of IHG.

The breakfast was decent but presentation wad unclean. Gravy spilling over and spoiled bread . Room wasn’t cleaned well and when we first arrived clothes from previous person was still on bathroom floor . Sink had mold around the perimeter. Only cable no smart TV options for Hulu or Netflix . Aside from pool nothing else for people with small kids to do. Staff was average but spend most of their time smoking outside the hotel .

Our room was extremely clean and well appointed. The bathroom was very large with lots of counter space and a huge shower. It was very quiet and the bed was sooo comfortable making for a good night's sleep since we were back on the road early the next morning. Staff at both check in and out were lovely.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was overall mostly clean. Very spacious and came with a fridge and microwave. Some downsides though. The room smelled kind of musty (maybe the carpet?) and the air conditioner I think needs to be cleaned; the vents looked very very dusty. Looked like there was mold around the outlet for the AC, or something black. The trash wasn’t taken out in the bathroom from previous guests and some surfaces should have been wiped down (had sticky stuff on it that got on my kindle…). Just seems like the room needed a little bit more of a thorough cleaning even though it was MOSTLY fine. And they only put one bath towel in the room even though I was staying in a KING room with my boyfriend. The continental breakfast was nice and it was very quiet during the entire stay. Plenty of parking. Staff was very friendly.

It was very expensive considering how old the facility is. Would have expected a higher end facility for the price. Also, the main curtains couldn't be closed because the rod was broken - all we had were the sheer curtains. We made do. But for the price, everything should have been in top notch condition.

The front entrance is under construction and closed. There was no advanced information about this, nor any signage as to where to park or enter. After going up a set of steps and walking halfway around the building, we found an entrance that would open. Long trek down hallways, down elevator, more long hallways to check in. We’re told by clerk, “well, this isn’t old building.” By the time we checked in and backtracked to an elevator,our room was nice. Large, clean, good beds and pillows, clean bathroom and quiet. However, the heat/AC was terribly loud at first then stopped working at all. The bathroom fan stayed on permanently all night long. All in all, I’d not recommend NOT staying AT THIS HOTEL!

At check-in, we requested a quiet room far from the elevators, and they gave us a room that was right next to the elevator so we had to go down and switch rooms. The heater and AC unit are very loud also. The only other negative aspect was that we could hear every single movement of the people staying above us. Squeaky beds and floors. Breakfast buffet was good and plentiful.

The front desk staff (especially the dream team Rohan and Nicole) were absolutely lovely, and any staff we encountered in the halls were exceedingly pleasant and welcoming. They even gave us eclipse glasses! The room was spotless even when my mom went around with a clorox wipe just in case (literally the wipe stayed white, even on top of the headboard where no one cleans), and it was quiet and comfortable. I intend to return, and I HIGHLY recpmmend this hotel to anyone visiting the Burlington area.

A one night stay at a Holiday Inn Express is just supposed be basic lodging. But this place was different. The people at checking were just so nice. The person service breakfast was just so nice. The person who leaned my room was just so nice. It was a wonderful experience. And the breakfast was very very good.

I have stayed in many hotels throughout the world, from no stars to 5 stars. I was struck by both the warmth and professionalism exhibited by EVERY staff member I encountered during my 5 day stay. I was impressed by the delicious breakfast offerings, which is very difficult to maintain for such a large group of clients. The front desk concierges made one feel cared for, which is key to the weary traveler. Even the General Manager was helpful, gracious and attentive. So often in other hotels they are aloof and keep to themselves, but the GM of this Holiday Inn was one of my 2 favorite ever, and the other Hotel was the Connaught in London. I honestly felt I was staying with a welcoming family. Thank you.

The hotel staff were especially gracious and accommodating during the busy solar eclipse stay. Erin, in management was in particular a huge help to my family as we navigated the area. Erin is a true asset to the Holiday Inn Express. Highly recommend this hotel.

Enroute elsewhere, we stayed just 1 night at the hotel with a prepaid advance reservation The hotel is well located about 10 minutes drive off I-89 and some 15 minutes away from downtown Burlington. It has it's own parking area. The staff at reception were warm and welcoming. Check in was efficient. Our assigned room was comfortable, quiet, clean and bright. The included breatfast the next morning was satisfactory.
