The hotel was beautiful, breakfast and dinner food was delicious and atmosphere of the lounge great. The only issue the the Turkish Bath was broken and it was unknown until arrival that it's assigned to the Health Spa department who makes available for $85 only if you have a $200 per person massage. I suggested to staff that the bath be under control of the hotel, as is the pool, and allow for use as an individual option I would have loved a massage but felt they were eextremely overpriced. Other than that the hotel is definately wonderful.

Absolutely Magnificent! Staff were friendly and there is ALOT of staff! Convince of being on a Main Street for pickup and drop off with luggage. Walkable to restaurants, beach and shopping. Restaurant was incredible. Spa was excellent. Outdoor drinks and view sensational. Positano is busy but a quaint spot at the same time.

Hotel Poseidon is by far one of the most beautiful and lovely hotels that I have visited. The hotel staff ( front end and bar/ restaurant servers) go out of their way to make your stay a memorable one. I can’t say enough about their service and hospitality. Breakfast served on the terrace is a wonderful start for the day. We enjoyed cocktails each evening ant the outside bar and had an amazing dinner at Il Trident restaurant our final evening. A special thank you to Hotel Poseidon for a trip of a lifetime.

Wonderful views from our room which gave a surreal feeling whenever we went on the balcony! Hotel was very clean and all staff were friendly. Restaurant/bar gave good vibes especially during the night, and their food was delicious! Only reason why I didn’t give 5/5 stars is because they charged for tea bags and coffee packets when we ran out of it in our room! Surely a lavish and expensive hotel such as this can provide basic tea and coffee for free. I’m assuming housekeeping would’ve replenished them if I didn’t put up the “do not disturb” sign, which begs the question why I was charged for it then? Apart from that, I highly recommend Hotel Poseidon!

We had a terrible experience in this hotel, firstly the room was with the covered dirty, secondly the air conditioned was doing a noise like a machine working in your ears, no blackout, the food was terrible with a very bad smell and to conclude my worst experience in Italy someone stole my slipper that I bought one day before in Bottega inside my room and the hotel just said that was my problem, they inform here that ther are 4 stars hotel but they don’t have 2 stars in my opinion, save your money and stay in a hostel because I’m sure that you will be disappointing with the terrible experience that you will have there specially for the cost of five star hotel

First, we got an upgrade to a Junior Suite with stunning views of Positano. The suite and property as a whole were super clean! The gourmet food at their II Tridente Restaurant was mouth watering!! But their main attraction was their amazing staff! Particularly Anna at the Front Desk and Luigi and Luca at the bar. If there is a downside is that the property is showing its age. Other than that..kudos!!

The location of the hotel is great. It has a beautiful view of Positano. With 15 minute walk you get to the shops and restaurants. There is only one restaurant near the hotel. The room’s furniture is very old and overall didn’t worth the price and they are very strict about having a guest at the hotel which was very strange as Positano is a place to reunite with your friends. The room service menu is very limited. Housekeeping team was fantastic. They work so hard for guests to enjoy their stay.

This hotel is one of the best places I have ever stayed. The view can not be topped and I felt like I was a guest at the home of a wealthy aristocrat. The hotel is beautifully decorated with antiques and artwork and my room was spacious and comfortable with a nice bathroom. I would absolutely stay there again when I return to Positano.

Historic and full of charming atmosphere, but comfortable for the modern traveler. The bed was a delight, and they will soften or firm it to your liking. This hotel is everything it claims and so much more. Location truly is everything in this respect. Most importantly, the staff is absolutely amazing. We are grateful for the opportunity to relax and enjoy one of the best spots in this beautiful area. We researched extensively and chose the best! The service, quality, and recommendations are perfect. We took a day trip to Capri, cooking class, and a day at the beach. Our day started off so exquisitely every morning with a cappuccino, fresh custom juice, custom omelette, and all the Italian pastries we could want! The rooms were so comfortable we needed to be wary of time and not oversleep. The views looked like a painting and we didn’t even order a sea view. Our area had everything we could have wanted in this stay and I don’t think we needed to go to other areas of Amalfi since we had the best beach, view, shopping, and restaurants!

Gorgeous hotel with amazing staff. Every single person working there treated us with such care. They were able to arrange a very comfortable private transfer for us to and from the airport and book us a very nice couples massage and Amalfi coast boat tour last minute. We were there for our honeymoon and the desk staff made sure it was very special and provided extra accommodations for us. Absolutely stunning views and amazing food, perfect destination for us and we will stay here every time we visit Positano.

We could stay there for months! The staff was fantastic and friendly, especially Giancarlo and Aldo at reception and Lucca at the restaurant. As we were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary they offered a bottle of prosecco when we arrived, which was really nice! The room was spacious and charming, with a comfortable bed, powerful AC, a large and very clean bathroom, and the view from our balcony was breathtaking. The included breakfast was amazing, with a great buffet, including mimosas, with the wonderful view of Positano and the sea, sitting in the beautiful outside area of the restaurant. The hotel's location is excellent, near shops and restaurants. Photos do not do justice to the beauty of the place, it is much better in person. Very charming and beautiful, I can say that it is a 4.5 star hotel altogether and with excellent service. It was definitely the best stay of our trip, better than we imagined. We highly recommend it! We had an absolutely amazing experience at the Posieden Hotel. It was an absolute first class experience and a quintessential Positano experience. Views were excellent and its location was within walking distance of a plethora of dining and shopping venues. We highly recommend it.

Beautiful hotel with lovely view of the coast from our bedroom. No better way to start your day than sipping cappuccinos and freshly made juice from the breakfast patio. The service was 5 star and friendly. The hotel was ideally located on the main road/walkway right around the corner for Da Vincenzo. We will definitely stay again when we return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. At check in the staff for so friendly and helpful. During the whole stay, all of the staff were so friendly and attentive. The hotel itself is a beautiful historic building with oodles of character, which works perfectly for a holiday in Positano. The breakfast each day was simple and classic, very tasty, and the service was first class. The hotel restaurant was also one of the best meals which we experienced during our week in Positano.
