Hotel Savoia was AMAZING! I cant say enough good things. The staff was so friendly & helpful. Our room with patio & hot tub was the perfect place to relax. The location gives you the best of both worlds.. easy walk to the beach area and easy walk up higher to more restaurants & shops. The food at the hotel was also a highlight. Thank you for making our honeymoon special!

In a great location, walking distance to all the shops, right near the stairs which lead you down to the beach. Staff was extremely nice and helpful, was able to get us last minute reservations at restaurants and help us with transportation. The space was clean, and there is an elevator which was extremely helpful for our luggage!. Breakfast in the morning was the perfect spread, and the food from the restaurant was also amazing. But my favorite part by far was the view from the terrace. Would highly recommend for anyone staying here, definitely worth your money!

I opted for a room with a balcony which was well worth the extra money. My stay was sensational. The staff were incredibly helpful, well versed in coeliac and ensured my gluten free diet was catered for at breakfast and dinner. The restaurant at the hotel is delicious! Get a room with a balcony, you won’t regret it.

The hotel was lovely. Location was fantastic. Staff were very friendly. We ate at the restaurant and bar a couple of times and it was very good. Marco in the bar was wonderful.

One of the best hotel I ever stayed. The experience was amazing. From the minute we walked in to the hotel lobby to check in and last minute to check out, everything was amazing for us. We stayed 6 nights and had amazing stay at Hotel Savoia. The receptionist were always so nice and gave us great recommendations or where to go. And even helped and booked us dinner. The restaurant in hotel is also amazing food and service. I personally am in hospitality service, So I fully expect 5 star service. And this hotel gave me the real 5 star feel. The location of hotel is also so great . About 10-15 min to the beach and ferry. And still great location to walk around the town of Positano. If you like to treat your self with a great room and you care about a great view and morning breakfast in balcony, ask for 307. (You can ask to have your breakfast in room for extra €5.) Will definitely come back to this hotel

A nice and clean hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful and nice. They were happy to help out with information and booking whatever you need. Location is great, just a 7 minute walk from the port in positano. A great place to stay when you’re in positano. The only thing that I feel could be changed is that they only provide bed sheets and no proper duvet or blanket and i found it a little uncomfortable to sleep that way.

Amazing experience! We stayed 7 nights and we’re so happy with everything about our stay here. The staff was excellent. The room was very big and had an amazing view! The room was cleaned daily and free water bottles were provided every day. The breakfast included was also very convenient. We would definitely stay here again and have already recommended it to friends.

Soy una persona que se fija en los pequeños detalles de los hoteles y he comprobado que todas las instalaciones , enchufes, cerraduras , cajones , instalaciones sanitarias funcionaban a la perfección.

Hotel Savoia is the best location. It is walkable to the beach in under 7 minutes. It is right on the Main St which is very busy during the day but that is the trade off with location. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms are spotless. The view is the side of Positano and we could hear the beautiful church chimes. It is not direct ocean view if you are looking for that. Our friend had partial ocean view and hot tub which was wonderful. They give you a free beach bag and daily towel if needed for beach. Great!! I honestly thought the people would be friendlier. (Not everyone). Marco was great and the older man in am when we left got us coffee as we were leaving early for flight. Sorry, I forgot his name . We asked at the desk about the complimentary water in room and felt like we were asking for a million dollars. Maybe we misunderstood the rules? The housekeeping staff were wonderful and friendly. I didn’t realize you could get made to order omelet until last day. The breakfast was scrambled in the warmer but wish I knew about omelet earlier. All and all a beautiful place and lucky to be there!! Ciao!

Would’ve given this a five star except for the noise level we did not sleep very well for three nights because it is on a busy road and we could hear everything as well from the upstairs… However, the service was excellent and the hotel very clean and the location was great

I absolutely loved staying here! Everything was very convenient, the staff were always willing to help us when we needed guidance and the rooms were cleaned twice a day which was convenient. The breakfast was also really generous. I highly recommend this hotel.

We really liked staying here. Spacious room, good air conditioning, great location, friendly staff, good breakfast included. It’s in the heart of the town but the street noise at night isn’t bad for sleeping and it’s on a main strip of shops. Views are amazing! We booked a city view but could still see the ocean. Would definitely recommend. Everything is a 10 minute walk away! Be prepared to do 10 minutes uphill from the ferry but it’s not that bad if you’re able to walk regularly without difficulty. Would definitely recommend a backpack or duffel. A little pricey but everything is pricey in Amalfi coast. Would recommend doing your research on where to eat and planning outings early. It feels like a small town and it does get a little old walking the shops over and over. There’s lots to do but good to look into it ahead as the crowds and choices can be overwhelming! Prices also differ so doing research online will help to compare prices. Also, don’t bother booking the beach clubs in May when it’s not that busy or hot yet. This hotel provides a beach towel per person and a beach bag and the public beach is right next to the beach club. You’ll save 60 euro by just not having a chair. This hotel was a great experience, we would stay again! Also, get a bottle of wine and some plastic cups; buying individual drinks is so expensive compared to bottles!

We spent 5 nights at Hotel Savoia and highly recommended this hotel. Our room was beautiful, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great! It was easy to walk to from the beach. Our room was a bit noisy with the sounds from the street below and I needed ear plugs at night but a bit of noise was worth staying at this beautiful hotel.

This hotel was perfect! We had two windows with views of the sea and it was clean and spacious. The staff was very helpful and you can walk quickly to everything in town. Great terrace bar after you get all your steps in and everyone was friendly. Would stay again in a heartbeat for the price in Positano. Less people and it’s quiet and beautiful. Stay here!

Margarita (sorry for the spelling) really helped us when we needed it. We did not know about the ferry closure and she helped us booked a car service and made sure we were taken care off the whole stay. Everything was comfortable, clean, convenient and most importantly staff is pleasant and accommodating. They actually remembered our names and room number since day one. This hotel and the staff were some of the best I have ever encountered in ALL of my years of traveling the world. They were accommodating, helpful with everything from dinner recommendations, to mailing items back home. The waitress at the restaurant remembered me as I got coffee to go every day. She even remembered my room number! I would definitely go back and definitely recommend this hotel! Views from our balcony were great too!

Hotel Savoia is perfectly located in Positano. The stairs to get to the main beach are right in front of the hotel. The hotel is clean. Staff is great. Breakfast was delicious. Would stay here again. If you are considering booking this hotel, don't think twice.

Wonderful hotel and staff in undoubtably the best location. Drivable for drop off so you don’t need a luggage porter, and right above the walking-only section which takes you to the beach. Very clean rooms and a great little breakfast overlooking the city to start each morning. If/when we return to Positano, we will stay here!

Hotel Savoia is the best location. It is walkable to the beach in under 7 minutes. It is right on the Main St which is very busy during the day but that is the trade off with location. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms are spotless. The view is the side of Positano and we could hear the beautiful church chimes. It is not direct ocean view if you are looking for that. Our friend had partial ocean view and hot tub which was wonderful. They give you a free beach bag and daily towel if needed for beach. Great!! I honestly thought the people would be friendlier. (Not everyone). Marco was great and the older man in am when we left got us coffee as we were leaving early for flight. Sorry, I forgot his name . We asked at the desk about the complimentary water in room and felt like we were asking for a million dollars. Maybe we misunderstood the rules? The housekeeping staff were wonderful and friendly. I didn’t realize you could get made to order omelet until last day. The breakfast was scrambled in the warmer but wish I knew about omelet earlier. All and all a beautiful place and lucky to be there!! Ciao!

Hotel Savoia is exactly as advertised. Small, very well-located hotel. (at the top of the promenade that leads to the beach area and shops) Relatively quiet, very near to the bus stops, and plenty of restaurants. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast was pretty good for free. Positano is a naturally very beautiful location and a decent spot for touring the entire Amalfi coast.

I opted for a room with a balcony which was well worth the extra money. My stay was sensational. The staff were incredibly helpful, well versed in coeliac and ensured my gluten free diet was catered for at breakfast and dinner. The restaurant at the hotel is delicious! The hotel is clean and well maintained and very centrally located. Check-in was hassle free and we received a phone call an hour after we arrived to make sure we were comfortable. Our room was well maintained with a tasteful and minimal Mediterranean aesthetic. I love that every room has a balcony and jaw dropping view. The staff here are the stars of the show. For breakfast the buffet is excellent and one of the servers, Eleanora was absolutely exceptional. She is kind and sweet and does everything with a smile and efficiency. I also had dinner at the restaurant and our server, Giuseppe, really gave a 5 star dining experience. I was pleasantly surprised with the caliber of food and service in the restaurant.

Fantastic hotel. Close to the beach just a 5 min walk. Every single staff member was helpful, nice and efficient. The hotel restaurant had the best pasta!! The breakfast buffet was also fabulous. I definitely would come back! The front desk staff helped us book excursions and reservations at the local beach clubs.

Service was very good and the breakfast buffet was excellent but the AC is horrible at night. Even when the setting was at the lowest possible (33.5) we were still uncomfortable at nights. When I spend $2000 USD for 3 nights, I shouldn't be sweating when I'm trying to sleep. Otherwise it's a very nice hotel (just don't visit them in hot summer months).

Amazing hotel located right in the heart of Positano. We got a room with a balcony facing the sea and the views were just phenomenal. The restaurant within the hotel is great, the chef accommodated some small requests from us given that we are vegetarians. The front desk staff are very helpful and professional.

This is our second visit to Positano and we stayed in Savoia for both trips. We like the room with wonderful sea and duomo view. My parents got the classic room and they enjoyed the large balcony.
