Stayed here before and only booked it again because the pool/area is nice, however this time the pool was closed the entire stay sue to them saying waiting on board of health to be able to open it. Won’t be staying again

Hotel under renovations and that was not listed online. Very nice people, Lobby looked great. Rooms beds were horrible, carpet was horrible just old and out dated.

The Staff at this location was great! The Property itself not good. No amenities in room like body lotion! The restaurant is a joke they need to offer more food options lunch & Dinner even at a small offering would be better then Nothing!!! The lobby has been updates but the rooms are very dated and furniture placement needs revamping!!!

When we arrived the room we were assigned didn't have a working refrigerator. I'm not sure how many rooms the lady had to try before she found a room with a working refrigerator. there is only 1 elevator to go up to the second floor. It was over in a front corner of the hotel. When you got upstairs you went down a long hall, turned onto another hall and there was another hall. It was ridiculous. When we left the ice machine that was on our floor was out of order. The ice machine on the first floor was not convenient. They need to do a lot of work in that hotel. And they need to think about putting in another elevator. We won't stay there again. I was very disappointed in this one!!

Great customer service. The hotel is a bit outdated and the carpet in the hallway needs to be changed. The pool was still closed. The washer was broken and the hotel was waiting for a part. Other than that, it was a reasonable price and great customer service.

When I checked in, there were crumbs in my bed, which was haphazardly made. They were understanding and gave me another room, but it took about 45 minutes to get it. Then, in the new room, there was a bug in the bathroom. I will not stay there again. Very disappointing for a Marriott.

The property needs a lot work. There was roaches in our room. One being on the bed. The lobby was extremely hot, the front desk employees had fans to stay cool. The shower curtain had mold on it, the shower did not drain, the curtains were stained, blood was smeared on the way and writing on the desk, hair in the tub and sink. The hallways are pealing, smelled like cigarettes and were extremely hot. One of the worst locations I’ve ever stayed at.

My room smelled mildewed. Paint falling from ceiling, toilet leaking, coffee maker in room was dirty.They switched my room and the second room also smelled like mildew and stained carpet. The only good thing was the friendly staff.

This hotel was in great proximity to the mall and the main campus of Columbus State University. The room was spacious and appeared to be clean, however, the room and the halls smelled musty and damp. I felt like there was mold in the air.

The carpet smelled like it hadn’t been cleaned in years, the bathroom door handle was broken so you couldn’t close the door to lock it, the lamp on the left side of the bed doesn’t work, and the shower curtain is torn so it needs to be replaced. Very disappointed and that’s surprising because I’ve always liked any Marriott property

The staff was really nice. The front of the building was under construction, which I get, but it was pouring down rain, so not ideal. We got our room and it smelling so bad like mold/mildew. My throat was instantly burning. They gave us a new room and as we were leaving the moldy one a piece of glass from the light fixture on the wall fell and almost hit me in the head. I took it to the front desk and they apologized. There was so much water damage throughout the whole place. I snapped a picture when we were leaving, I should have taken more.

Liked thr area. Noisy room. A/C wasso loud couldn't hear tv. Door was not able to secure properly. Bed was uncomfortable for a Marriott. Pillows were non supportive. No continental breakfast. Cost of breakfast food & condiments very expensive for area. Would not stay here again.

I loved how quiet the hotel was. Front staff was very friendly. Easy to check-in. The one thing i did not like was the way the room was set up. The king size bed faced the windows and curtains however the TV was to the side. So to watch tv you had to lay on your side.

We stayed a week prior to the current stay. The prior stay was a lot better than this stay. I was told I got complementary breakfast, when I went to get breakfast it was $40 because I booked through a 3rd party. The guy that gave me the wrong info was from another motel. That upset me a little. The air conditioner didn’t work well and they sent maintenance immediately. Offered to give me another room if he couldn’t fix it. He fixed it but it wasn’t to my liking. The couch bed had vapes and a lot of dust. That was where my kids were going to sleep. The room didn’t have a microwave and the ice machine was on the other side of the building. The staff was very kind and welcoming. I don’t think I’ll stay here again. It’s not to bad, it just not to my cup of tea.

The property was in a great location and it was very affordable. I don’t think I’ll book again unfortunately though. #1 The hotel is definitely outdated and it smells awful. I couldn’t tell if the smell was mold or if it was water damage (visible damage on ceiling).There was also stains on the floor … and on couch… everything was just so outdated and old. My room was a connecting room so I could hear EVERYTHING my neighbors were saying. Oh and There was not complementary breakfast… Idk. Overall 6/10

The air conditioning did not work well in the room. The hallways were also very hot I’m assuming there is no air conditioning in the hallways weird with this property being in the south. They did nothing about the people next door fighting when I called the front desk and told her to call the police.thus was at 4:30 am.

The sliding door was broken on the handle. It appeared there were many contractors working on the property so my guess is that it is being repaired. Overall the staff was very kind and genuine in wanting to help and take care of us. They made our experience wonderful. There were two ladies at the front desk, especially the one who is in college, were the definition of what hospitality means. Well done!

Cleo (not sure if this is her name because she removed her name tag when asked to confirm her name) at the breakfast counter was extremely rude and unprofessional with me and other guests with her inappropriate tone and delivery! She began to argue with me and the other guests as if the breakfast was coming from her kitchen. And then she had the audacity to have a male companion waiting for her with a Burger King bag as if he was coming to “hang out” with her while she’s working. I travel frequently and this has NEVER happened to me! EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!! However, Lucy was GREAT with deescalating the situation and I think Marriott should hire more employees like Lucy. Also, when you arrive to the hotel you will be unable to park in front of the entrance. I was extremely upset with that because it was raining. I’ll attach photo as reference. Overall, I will NEVER go there again!

did not have the room I booked. claim it was an upgrade but gave me a hard time about having breakfast even though it was what I paid for. Told me no manage was available so there was nothing that could be done. I ended up having to find another staff member who saw my original booking and saw the error.

Great location right off of the highway. Easy to get to. The man at front desk was super friendly and helpful in suggesting local restaurants for dinner. Room was clean and comfortable. I have 4 for cleanliness and also condition only for the exterior. The front of the hotel could definitely use some improvements. It did not match the inside or the rooms at all.

The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating: 10/10. The property was pleasant. A not outdated and no extras. We were comfortable though and had no problems the 5 nights we were there. The area around the hotel isn’t enticing. The mall is outdated and lacks dining choices. But Columbus is easy enough to get everywhere worth going in 15 minutes.

Wife and Daughter stayed last March, They loved it,Close to base and mall, They knew when I was going Come and See My Granson at the base I Would Like My Stay Also and they were Right, Quite, Nice People , Clean and knew I would like Starbucks... The people who worked the front desk were super nice and very helpful. The hotel itself was very pretty. The only thing I really didn't like was the fact that there is no free breakfast. Even a very minimal continental breakfast would be nice.

Our stay was fine. The reason why I gave the rating I did was because I didn't love the way the breakfast was offered. I have never experienced anything like it before. We paid extra to have it included per person but had we known it was ordering at Starbucks we probably would have opted to spend that money at a different restaurant. Staff were great! Building was older but clean.

Nothing wrong with stay. Would not seek out the hotel again. Nice to be able to walk to Ruby Tuesdays. Breakfast of course isn’t free. Coffee and bagel for two was $17. Bar wasn’t open so we got two beers from cooler to take outside for $16.

Clean room upon arrival. Only 2 night stay so no housekeeping was performed on room while staying. Felt the whole Bistro idea not very good. Especially for the price I paid for breakfast. Other hotels give their guests the same quality food for free.
