Beach House by ULIV

The property is cute and the rooms are clean. The main issue we have was with the pool area. The water was filthy and when we complained to the desk, All they said was that they would notify maintenance but did not offer any immediate solution. Half the appeal to our visit was a little pool and hot tub time. Without those amenities, we elected to check out the same day and look for other options.

Clean, updated modern. We enjoyed having a full kitchenette suite in our room. The pool was clean well maintained. Property was well-maintained. Front desk was very helpful and the coffee shop inside of the front office was also a great addition.

Super cute hotel, great location, good communication with front desk. Parking is a little tight for SUV but plenty of street parking. Room was cute and they decorated it for our romantic trip. Pool and jacuzzi was nice. So many places walkable around the area including grocery store. Very close to the beach. Only complaint but didn’t bother us but maybe other people is there is a HUGE banquet hall/church across the street which is very active and had an event go to very late.

Great stay for our single night! Very clean, very easy parking and we loved that there was a coffee shop in the property :)

Had a late arrival, so cooking, pool, & jacuzzi amenities were not utilized. Parking was easy. Room was clean and spacious; no complaints.

El lugar es tranquilo con pocas habitaciones, lo que hace la estancia muy agradable. La piscina tiene un horario muy extenso de 10 a 10 y el jacuzzi también. Te prestan bicicleta para pasear. Volveré.

I was greeted by friendly front desk who kindly helped me with local indormation. Parking was good although an EV charging spot would be awesome. Very close to all the cool spots. Very clean and modern interior. I loved using the jacuzzi and pool!

This place is GREAT, perfect price and everything is brand new. The AC is cold and the heater is hot and the hot water gets hot and stays hot with strong water pressure. They have a pool and jacuzzi and also they have bikes you can ride around town.

El hotel esta bien ubicado y parece relativamente nuevo, tiene lo necesario para pasar una noche confortable, aunque en mi caso el ruido de los carros que pasan por la calle no me dejo dormir bien. Algo que le resto muchiiiiisimos puntos es que el baño estaba lleno de pelos en el piso como si un hombre se hubiera cortado la barba y al querer pasarles un papel para medio limpiar porque no se podia pisar me di cuenta que el piso estaba sumamente sucio, suciedad de mucho tiempo sin pasar un trapeador por el piso.

It was a very nice property; however, the entire room was very dirty; floors, toilet, shower, shower curtain, just everything in general. Not a little dirty but you could tell it had not been cleaned at all.

My bathroom floor had sum very noticeable hair follicles on the floor and in the sink. The jacuzzi was not filled enough to soak in completely. The propery was cute n clean overall. Very tight parking. The front desk staff was the best!

Stayed with a friend for 3 nights. Rooms are very basic. A mini fridge in the room would be great. Jacuzzi and pool were dirty and unusable at the end of the day. Needs to be cleaned more often. Parking is very tight. Not advisable, if you have a large SUV or pick-up truck. The name "Beach House" implies that the hotel is at or near the beach. It is not. It's about 3 blocks away from the closest water access. The room was not clean. Found several hairs on the floor and in the sink. Bathroom is small. On the good side, easy check-in. Friendly staff. Good water pressure and hot/cold water. Coffee bar in lobby. Safe in room. Overpriced in my opinion.

This hotel was a very pleasant surprise. Very modern renovations. Staff was friendly and attentive (shout out to Daniel). Pool and jacuzzi were great, cute ambiance outside. Some things to note: walls are a little thin, can hear the road so probably not good for light sleepers, bed was kind of firm for our taste. We did feel safe and our “neighbors mentioned that their “suite” was pretty decent size especially for the price.

We liked the hospitality, warm welcome by reception and the safe area, walkable, especially the comfortable room.

I do recommend staying here but keep your expectations reasonable. It is very good for a budget hotel. The hotel staff was very friendly & helpful and, contrary to the description on Hotels.com the front desk was staffed until at least 11p. We chose the Jr Suite and it was large, clean & comfortable. If that is all you are looking for then this is it. But understand that there are no frills. The bathroom is clean and stocked with basic toiletries, but only 1 bath towel & hand towel. The bed is clean & comfortable & there is A/C, TV & WiFi. And a safe, which is a big bonus. But the room is otherwise pretty empty of any decoration or nice touches. And the same for the small sitting room and kitchenette. Functional and clean, but frill free. And while they provide dish soap, there is no kind of dish towel or dish rag and oddly, the room is free of wash clause of any kind nor did they seem to understand my request. The Jacuzzi was also out of service. But you can see that these are minor inconveniences and not any reason not to stay here. The hotel is about eight large city blocks from beach access. Definitely no ocean view show the Beach House name is a little questionable. But like I started with, this is a adequate budget hotel with very friendly and helpful staff, and that is a lot!

The hotel is overall ok. The pictures are somewhat misleading as the single rooms are extremely small and basic though comfortable. The parking is very small, cramped, and difficult to park in. The location is good and a few restaurants within walking distance. The price overall is descent but was expecting much more in terms of amenities and comfort.

The room was small but super cute, the location was pretty centric and it had access to different stuff shopping restaurants etc

The hotel staff is very friendly and courteous!

1. The room didn't look much like the photos that prompted us to book the room. It was a LOT smaller, and it was a lot darker. The photos in the Expedia listing showed larger, bright rooms. 2. The quiet hours for the pool area were not enforced. Noise went until past 11pm. 3. There was no hot water, so we went without a shower. We did let the water run for a good 5 minutes! 4. The lotion dispenser was empty, and when I went to tell the front desk, they said they'd come refill it, but they never did. 5. Parking was very tight.

Everything was very nice. Definitely clean and pleasant. Easily a 9.5. The .5 off 10 is because there's no coffee maker in the room and the breakfast was not great. Coffee was good but a ham sandwich for breakfast was not. Everyone on the staff, that we met, was extremely nice and efficient.

We were in Ensenada several days and our departure was delayed so we extended our stay several times. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The location worked well for us as we enjoy walking and there are many restaurants and stores nearby. A great place to stay.

I reported the incident and he never get back to me , next day I told to front desk guy I he just answered me " oh the security guy went to tell them to be quiet but the gust did not followed his directions. Other thing is across the street there is like a theater so it was to noisy Thursday and Friday night . I do not recommend the place to rest in a weekend , other than that is at your own risk.

Friendly and informative staff

The staff went above and beyond for my boyfriend’s birthday. They decorated the room with balloons and signs. Great stay, great experience!

Nice location near the beach. Wouldn’t recommend for light sleepers as noise from traffic does travel through windows/walls. Very clean and has good amenities.

Cool spot would stay here again but just be aware it’s near a bar that plays loud music if your on the left side.

This is a very nice little hotel. The rooms are clean. The staff are wonderful. It is easily walkable into town. I just wished it wasn’t so close to traffic noise and local bars as I would have stayed longer.

We got a room on the third floor, surprise, no elevator, the room was nice, clean, good shower, comfortable bed, but there constant stream of cars, buses and ambulances made it very difficult to sleep well

Me gustó mucho la ubicación. Toda la comunicación fue excelente y muy amables todos. Me encantó que tienen un café a un lado de recepción y es super sencillo ordenar. Muy rico el café. Las instalaciones en buenas condiciones también, con mucho espacio en la habitación.
