PermaVista Ranch & Resort- Experience A Luxury Texas Ranch

Property was amazing if you are looking to have privacy and a variety of things to do on premise. We stayed for a week with our family which included grandpa, grandma, our children and their spouses, and our 13 grandchildren from ages 1-12. We rode horses, played basketball, shot pool, swam in the pool, caught bass at the stocked pond, and found all sorts of little creatures. Yes, it is a ranch and you may find a tarantula or two, a small fruit bat, or a walking stick bug (these were all outside). The chef and staff were amazing. Each day breakfast was different but included fresh cut fruit, an egg dish, meat of some sort, pancakes or waffles, cereal, etc. They were very accommodating to our some of our gluten free/dairy free little ones. We never ran out of food and have some hearty eaters. We had a couple maintenance issues that were resolved quite quickly. The manager was also prompt and responsive. She even met us upon check in and gave us a tour of the property. There were some cleanliness issues upon check in of which we believe the cleaning staff missed. These were addressed. The housekeeping staff came through one day during our stay and did a good job sweeping, refreshing towels, making beds, etc. Staff replenished toiletries and paper towels as needed. They probably would have come through more often if we had requested it. With all the kids and their messes, we did not ask. Old town was about 15 minutes away and provided enjoyable antique and coffee shops.

This is an amazing venue. With all the grounds to explore, the tennis/basketball court, the pond for fishing and the outside entertaining space, all were kept entertained… especially the kidsInside the party room easily accommodated all 40 of us and everyone commented about how comfortable and nice it was The food!!!! Wow. The chef and staff are amazing. The quality and service level was above anything we have had in a long time. Always a smile and willing to do or get anything we neededOvernight everyone had a very comfortable and private spotHighly recommend to anyone considering a group event of any kind

Our family reunion at this property was absolutely perfect! The various room configurations suited all family sizes beautifully, and the family party room was ideal for gathering, conversing, and playing games. The pool area became a favorite hangout spot throughout the day. The catering staff was brilliant—breakfast options were delicious and satisfying, and our specially requested dinner was exceptional, truly worthy of a starred restaurant. The property manager was outstanding, promptly answering questions both before and during our stay. Every detail was thoughtfully provided, making the experience seamless and memorable. Overall, the value was well worth the rates. Highly recommended!

AMAZING!!! The house was beautifully kept. The staff was top notch ( very helpful and so kind). The food was delicious! Would 100% recommend this rental and would love to book again for a family reunion!!! The whole experience was wonderful!

Love, Love, Love the breakfast. Love the party room. The view from the tower is exquisite. We like the Ranch very much.
