Overall a good experience. The drain plug in the tub/shower was broken so I just took it out. There was some chipped paint on the walls also. USB charging ports were nice to have but only about 1/4 worked. No plastic laundry bags in the room, but the front desk did give me one when I asked. Front desk person when I checked out seemed annoyed when I asked for a receipt. All that said it was quiet and the bed was comfortable. Well-lit parking lot and lots of businesses within walking distance.

The staff (Collette) was great at welcoming us and getting us checked in! Room was decent but nothing special. No fan in the bathroom so it gets dripping wet from the steam. Ice machine was on the 3rd floor (we were on the 2nd floor). Pool area in enclosed and the air temp was like a sauna while the water was very cold. Family still very much enjoyed the pool and we were thankful it was open until 10pm. Breakfast was decent, no bacon, had to request items to be replenished, and very crowded. Great coffee / hot tea bar options.

I hate that when I make a reservation and they don’t mention things like the pool is close. I wanted to stay at this hotel because of the pool and it was close☹️☹️

A lobby fountain would help. **Flag Poles: 2/5** The location of the flag poles was nicely made—very pretty and honorable. However, they were bare, missing both our national and state colors, which felt lazy, especially on a perfect day. **Conclusion:** Overall, the hotel offered a clean and comfortable stay with friendly staff and excellent amenities. The pet access restrictions, limited water sources, and bare flag poles were minor drawbacks. I would consider staying here again.

Check-in staff completed job, but somewhat mumbled directions, so had to ask to clarify. Wish they had drinking fountain to fill water bottles. Otherwise, good enough breakfast. Hotel was clean. Room had shared door, so could hear other room a bit too much.

Noisy neighbors upstairs and a tailgate party/gathering in the parking lot was annoying!

No hot tub. Pictures show a hot tub. But it's been filled concrete and tiled over. Wish I knew. Working construction out of town for a week, it's nice to soak a bit.

Very clean! We usually choose Holiday Inn Express for that reason… this one was very clean… makes for a comfy cozy stay!

ADA room with several challenges: - No roll in shower, a tub with detachable shower wand - No handrails in tub with exception of two rails just above tub edge (apparently intended to keep people from using faucet to lift) - Cabinet narrowed hallway area to a point wheelchair/walker could not pass through (less than 36") - Not enough room in actual bedroom area to turn wheelchair/walker Clean room, comfortable bed, but not an ADA room

Room was clean and spacious. I have a large family and it accommodated us well.

Very clean and well maintained hotel.I had a regular 2 queen bed room,it is HUGE!!....Will or would definitively stay here again,would recommend to other people as well.

After a night in a "Bates Motel" on a long road trip, it was wonderful to have a friendly staff, clean, comfortable room with a GREAT bed/linens. And the proximity to a restaurant (a good one!) cannot be beat!

We checked in uneventfully midafternoon, left our luggage in the room, and departed for several hours. When we returned that evening our keys no longer worked, and we were informed by the desk staff that “Holidex cancelled the reservation through Expedia.” Another party had been given access to our room and realized it was already occupied. The front desk staff was waiting for us with new keys when we returned that evening. This is inconvenient, disruptive to the travel plans of multiple individuals as well as a safety concern.

Terrible check in experience. Wouldn’t let us. Heck in until “paid” by your website. Clerk having trouble with your credit card number. Not welcoming. Sat for 30 minutes until she called you to figure it out

Staff were super helpful and nice! We originally booked for one night but because of the major storm, we were stuck for 3 nights. Staff were awesome in accommodating us and helping with additional reservations. Also, hot breakfast each day was excellent with lots of choices and good quality food.

Staff worked with me so I could keep my room a second day.

Highly recommend this property if you want quiet, clean, comfortable, and a decent restaurant right next door. Staff were all friendly and made our overnight stay a good one after a loooong day of driving. Breakfast choices were many, and well rounded for a nutritious meal. Will definitely stay here again.

A great place to stay! Comfortable rooms, lots amenities, great breakfast, and ideal location.

The breakfast was okay. The biscuits were good. But the eggs, bacon and potatoes were not good.

We stayed at the HI Express in Worthington, on our way home from the Mayo Clinic. HI Express, in my opinion, is always very consistent in their cleanliness, comfort and hospitality. Our room was clean & comfortable, & the staff was friendly. The breakfast is convenient for a quick bite to eat before you hit the road. We would definitely stay there again on our way to and from Mayo.
