There is no gym at the property , I dislike it too much

This place was an absolute madhouse. We waited nearly an hour just go check in, had only an hour to enjoy the waterpark because they close at 8 and couldn’t return because they open so late. Over half the water slides they weren’t open. The bunks are made for small children exclusively - it would have been nice to know that at booking. It was just so overcrowded and unpleasant. Constant lines and screaming children and very little to actually do other than spend even more money with wristbands that are linked to your credit card that cannot be removed. I will never come back.

Nice water park area, needs more tubes for lazy river, elevators broke a few times leaving only one working and super busy.

Good for an overnight stay near Mall of America. The room was big enough for our group of 5 and we slept well. What I don't like about Great Wolf is that everything is monetized and it's LOUD all the time. Our teen guests did use the water park briefly but since it closed at 8 PM, they didn't have much time.

Frustrating that the slides were not in order for our stay. Appreciated the arcade cards, but hoped the slides would be running before we departed. Elevator wait was too long, at times. Out of items we wanted to order at the pizza restaurant and the Dunkin Donuts. Staff was ample and courteous!

The property could be cleaner. The staff was sometimes friendly but not helpful. They did not explain things to the kids. The water park closed too early. They closed attractions before the time the attraction time was supposed to close. I was disappointed that they didn’t have a hot tub.

Water park a little crowded should be for people staying at property with reservations. Limited parking and and hiding fees were on stuff and unexpected charges. The park fee is ridiculous for staying people. Plus no security for parking lot fir fees for parking. I wont be back again

They didn't mentioned that parking is not free. $15 per night. You expect to have a free parking for +$250 per night.

Mall of America quarter mile away 4.5 stars due to some of waterpark slides where closed. Great for Family's of all ages.

Had blood stains on sheets! Bath tub was very dirty!

Can't believe you can't get a newspaper on the property. Property was dirty we felt.

I have never been to a hotel or business of any kind that had so many people cleaning at any given time. My family was very impressed with our stay. We didn't have any complaints at all. We will be returning again in the near future!

Everything was kept very clean there were some spots around the pool that weren’t so clean but overall was a great experience. We look forward to coming back in the future!

I loved that the property was 5 mins from Mall of America which was grea and Every night they had a 30 minute party session for all kids! Not sure I would recommend this place as a family I was with room was infested with bed bugs! The hotel showed no empathy or sympathy towards them! No refund was provided as well as no accommodations for them! There was also another family in the hotel complaining of the same infest of bed bugs in their room! The hotel seems to have a infestation and has not treated it properly as multiple rooms compalined.

We booked 3 night stay with our 7 year old who was very excited about the water park. We left less than 24 hours later it was so gross and disgusting. There wasn’t a clean surface in the room or in facilities. And to make matters worst my son contacted staph infection from the water park that resulted in great pain and round of antibiotics to clear up! Stay away for your family’s safety!

The pool bathroom was dirty but everything else was great

This was our first time staying at GWL and we would definitely go back again. Our kids (ages 4 to 19) enjoyed the water park and activities at the hotel. We spent a day at the Mall of America since it was a half mile from the hotel. Our room was clean and our floor was quiet. The staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.

The room is clean, but the AC is really loud

The water park is good. The hotel entrance is nice. The elevators are fast. The rooms felt a little outdated and half the lights were all different colors, daytime light and yellow lights. I like the night light aspect to the kid bunks. But even those were barely working if not dead. All night the air conditioner is super loud. Sounds like an air conditioner that you had it in the window but louder. The beds all had creases and indents like they've been used for several years. Water park is really nice, however that a lifeguards feel a little under trained depending on where you're at. Be wary of your children (as always). We tried foods from all the different spots. Stay away from everything besides the pizza. The actual restaurant they have in there is very lackluster and service is very slow and poor even if there's only 10 customers in the restaurant with six different servers. The arcade is a little overpriced but I get it. and the amount of points that you need for each game does not equate to zeros so you can be left with 0.2 points left with nothing to spend it on. Overall, I feel the price is a little higher for what you're getting, but the water park is nice for the kids along the small activities they have.

Room not super clean. Minimal outlets. No noise proofing between rooms

The air/heating unit in our room was really loud. Other than that is was a great experience.

Our son had a great time in the pool and with all the activities. Although for the price of $500 a night I would have expected more. The comforter on our bed was like a piece of cardboard and the room was pretty banged up. Would also expect parking to be included in that price. Again we had a great time with our kids but it is a little over priced

Room is terribly outdated. No lamps with outlets or USB ports. Had to go to store to buy power blocks to charge phones. TVs didn't work, cords dangling down so obviously prior issues. Not worth what they charge to stay here.. paid $1,000 for 2 nights in a suite. Paid $16 a day for parking, but cannot ever find a spot to park as lot is full with waterpark guests. King bed had no blankets, only sheets. No one ever answered the phone at the front desk. Terrible service.

Nice to have all the amenities under one roof, food, water slides, arcade, etc. Sadly the big tube slide we had really been excited about wasn’t operational. The rooms are ok, but getting tired. Beds are creaky and tiny, we got a family suite and it was not like the photos at all. Bunk beds were way too tiny and noisy for a good night of sleep.

Fun place to stay. Loved the cabin style room. Staff is cheerful, kind and helpful. Our room was high, so we had great views of Minneapolis in the distance.

We stayed in a Queen Cabin suite (sleeps 6). The room itself is very basic. Two light fixtures didn’t work, there are very limited plugins and there are no USB ports, which I feel is standard in nearly all hotels now. The bunk beds had bedding that only fit the top of the bed and the 4 tween girls that slept in there had their feet hanging out of the covers and the “blanket” was about the thickness of a flannel sheet. Almost everything is overpriced, which we expected, but especially the dine in restaurant. The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. Overall, I would say the space is definitely more geared to families with younger children, under 12. The water park is fairly small and pretty boring for tweens. We were also disappointed that the water park closes at 8pm, doesn’t leave you much time for you first night, even if you check in right at 4pm. I also have several “holds” on my credit card, that I was assured at checkout, would be reversed. Should that not happen and I have to deal with that, my review will likely get worse.

We had a great stay only complaint is the beds are so uncomfortable! We had a queen bed and you could feel the springs! Parents are exhausted at the end of the day and deserve a comfortable bed to sleep in! The pool is awesome and the food is delicious. We had a balcony room that was great! Prepare to spend extra $$$! All the attractions cost money. There's so much for the kids to do. All of the staff was amazing! Everyone is so helpful and nice. The resort is very clean and staff are everywhere to help. Will definitely stay again but hopefully in a more comfortable bed.

Our stay in itself was good, unfortunately one very serious concern will prevent us from ever returning to this location. We have 6 young kids and visited for the end of summer break fun and 2 of the kids birthdays. The water park was a blast, pizza was delicious, and room was great. What will prevent us from returning is at 3:45am there was a firm knock on our door (despite our do not disturb sign being out). My husband scurried to get his shirt on when the knock repeated a little louder. He looked out the peep hole and the person on the other side of the door had the peep hole covered so he couldn't see anything. The knock occurred one more time. We called the front desk to report and were told they would alert security. My husband spent the remainder on the night on the floor with his pocket knife under his pillow to protect our family. In the morning there was a note from security that they "investigated the noise complaint" and did not find a source. We do not feel this was taken seriously. This wasn't a noise complaint but a serious safety concern. No right minded person would cover a peep hole and knock at 3:45 am multiple times unless they had very ill intentions (and to do so at an indoor water park that is a popular children's destination is even more disgusting). My husband and I were both very shaken after this incident and highly recommend staying away from this great wolf location for the sake of safety.

We have been to a few great wolf lodges, all pretty similar. The water park and games are always fun and worth the stay. However, this time I paid the extra for late checkout and had staff come into our room 3 separate times to see if we were out yet when we still had hours before check out, they should have refunded me the extra money for having staff walk in on us showering and getting ready when we clearly had paid for extra time.

Our room was not ready at 4:30. they told us they would text us when it was ready. We were only there for a one night stay. I never received a text message and went back to the desk an hour later only need to find out that the room had been ready. My children only got to swim for 30 minutes by the time we got in and ready because they are only four and six years old and can’t stay up super late. Nobody bothered to check in with us or offer us any discounts or fix anything.

Understaffed no answering of the front desk phone did not clean room after multiple requests

Fun experience always, check-in issues can be a pain especially when wristbands don’t work and the back and forth to get it fixed. Would be a great experience if customer service was available to call for immediate issues.

Hi there, I booked through Hotels.com and everything is paid off but still got charged by great wolf for second for my room that we stayed showing in my credit card in 1-2 business days. I have to call in to confirm what the charge is about. They told me that is their false and will refund my money back. Please be careful.

1.Very very difficult to get a hold of the property. We tried to call them many times, many days. No ones picked up the phone. We had been waiting for over 1 hr every time until we gave up. We left the message, never got a call back. 2.When we booked a room, there was nothing about parking fee but they charged $19 a day. 3.There was not enough blankets and pillows for everyone in room. We called Front desk, housekeeper. No ones picked up the phone even emergency. My husband had to go down to Front desk to ask for it. They said we need to request through the message which we did. We got the message right away said that they will bring them right away. We had been waiting for 2 more hours and we didn't get it. Then my husband went back to Front desk second time. This time staff said, he will bring them right away. We ended up got nothing to our room that night. The next morning, my husband talked to them the 3rd time so we got them. 4. My children complained itchy, eye burns and skin rash at night after spent a day in the pool. Again, calling emergency for nothing. My husband had to run to pharmacy at 2 in the morning. 5. We checked out at 10:30 am and were on the way out of town, around 1pm we got message about summary payment charging $120 on premium dinner which we never had. We called them right away, never got any response. We drove an hour back to hotel and talked to them. They said sorry and got transaction removed but never take any responsibilities for it.

Great staff!

We had a really nice time at GWL. Every staff member we encountered was absolutely wonderful. The lifeguards were really attentive and I felt really safe with all of my kids and their friends all over the water park. This is by far the best visit we’ve had there.

I wish the swim park was open later. That was the main reason for staying at GWL. The parking fee was a bit ridiculous and should be built into the price of the stay. There was a rash of broken car windows in the parking lot when I stayed making me feel a little unsafe. Overall, for my next stay I would put less emphasis on the swim park and look at other hotels.

We planned our annual roadtrip vacation this year to visit the Mall of America. When I saw there was a Great Wolf Lodge so close for around the same price as other hotels in the area, I knew this would take our vacation to the next level! We have taken many trips to GWL in the Poconos and love it. The Bloomington location lacks some of the “wow” factor of the Poconos and looks run down. No hot tub. Small wave pool. Not even slides. The slides we rode were a lot of fun though. I had the best cheeseburger in the restaurant and the buffet breakfast was fabulous with a great selection and hot and fresh. Definitely a good stop but not as great as I expected.

Same day reservations were available at a low quality price. Waterpark was very easy accessible to our rooms. Lots to do. Food was great ! Very clean facility, always someone sweeping. Retail stores nearby for your personal needs, Mall Of America was also nearby. Will love to come back.

Hotel has a great location, we were disappointed in the waterpark.

Really wish there was a hot tub, less cabanas and more seating in the water park. Kids enjoyed the activities and Magic Quest. There were multiple car break ins while we were there.

Parking was dicey in that they could’ve used a lot more spaces. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Folks there were super nice.

Very clean inside, parking lot was a bit dirty and limited spots on the weekend which is crazy for the $19/night fee

Kids loved the water park but food was bad, pizza was $20 for a small pizza for a lot of bread with tomato paste and very little cheese or toppings. All food options are pricey but poor quality. Bring your own food, microwave and small refrigerator in room. They offer you a rate to stay another night, $119 but when you go to book it the price jumps up to $185, a 50% increase for “fees and taxes”. Very misleading.

The staff were friendly and the beds were comfortable. There were plenty of things to do with the fam. Unfortunately there were limited food options and food available was overpriced.

Super crowded thin walls couldnt sleep since ppl upstairs hallways and next door were super loud before 8am and after midnight.

The restaurants are a little overpriced and do not take cash…not everyone is tech savvy.

Overall property was good. What could improve would be more food options in evening. We had an infant with us and no milk was available to buy on property after 9.

Great location and nice rooms. Nice amenities and cute programming for younger kids. The food was "meh" and pricey. The arcade was ridiculously expensive. We admittedly went in the winter, but the hotel itself was COLD considering that everyone is walking around in bathing suits. This is for both the water park area AND the actual hotel. On some days, I could barely sit in the pool area for more than an hour because the chlorine was so strong that my eyes would burn. This is without even setting foot in the pool! The kids loved it, and we are glad we went but the cold and the chlorine were definitely areas of improvement.

Great resort. Food and drinks are very expensive, but they do accommodate allergies.

Perfect Christmas break get away. Our 10 yr old was happily content with the swimming options. Our older teenagers/young adults enjoyed the slides and lazy river for a while. The lifeguards were very attentive, which was great!!! Plenty of tables/chairs in pool area, we enjoyed many card games. The bar at the pool was nice, good service but very spendy. There are lots of other fun things outside of the waterpark that we didn't do so no feedback on that. Mobile ordering at the restaurant or Dunkin Donut weren't available when we wanted to use that service, which was a bummer. We ended up ordering food from outside of the resort. The ice cream parlor had nice options, only negative was it didn't open til 4pm. We would have liked ice cream more mid afternoon vs. so close to dinner time. There was free hot chocolate in the lobby at one point, so that was a nice treat. The fireplace in the lobby was decorated so beautiful for Christmas, we took some nice family pictures. We stayed in the Queen cabin room w/ waterpark balcony. We had 2 adults & 4 kids/teenagers. Two of our kids are tall older teenagers, they said the bunk beds were a little short. We only stayed 2 nights so it was fine but i think a longer stay would have got quite uncomfortable for them. The room size was fine for the about of time we were in the room. A bigger table on the balcony would have been nice, we could've played cards/games while sitting out there. Nice stay!!
