Capricci Romani is an ideal place to stay for a number of reasons. Located within walking distance of the vatican, its lication also afforded a cinvenient starting point to visit all of the major attractions. You're first greeted by a vintage elevator with a handled door and a set of internal swinging doors. Make sure you close the doors when you reach your floor or the elevator will be stuck. The room is quite modern as seen in the promotional photos. The shower was very comfortable with both a wand and a rain shower head. Noteworthy is a bound and professionally printed recommendations book in both Italian and English pointing out nearby eateries for both aperitivi and dinner. My wife and I were very pleased with the several we tried and thankful for the recommendations. A cozy little common space, just outside our room, has several tables, self-serve coffee and espresso machines and fresh morning cornetti. All and all, Capricci Romani is a comfortable place and we would certainly stay again.

A wonderful stay, great location, lovely room worth all the amenities we needed. We loved the croissants left out for breakfast and the milk to make tea and coffee. Communicating via what's app was quick and easy. I wish all accommodation we stayed in was a pleasant as this and would happily recommend and stay again! Kids had 2 beds we had a king, fridge, and black out curtains. Air con and a charming lift to level 4.

This was the perfect spot for our 1 night stay in Rome and visit to St. Peter's. The rooms are on the 4th floor of a building with marble stairs and a vintage elevator. The room itself had plenty of space, a nice bathroom and a comfy bed. Check in was self service, with text messages giving good instructions and door codes. We only met the host at chekout. This is a great option for the low maintenance traveler who wants to be right on the front steps of the Vatican.

We loved this place! It is very conveniently located to Vatican City and many other areas. Mary was the host at the property and she could not have been any more helpful and welcoming! The room was clean, well supplied and has all the amenities you could want. Mary also provided fresh croissants and coffee in the morning!

Great location to sites & restaurants. (Note - we are walkers) The hosts are lovely and very helpful. They are only there limited hours, but I found them responsive to messages. Fortunately, we arrived when they were there, so checkin was very smooth. They bring in fresh croissants each morning and have tea & coffee available. The room was cute and innovative in how they separated the space (my teenagers were in 2 singles on one side of a wall; my husband & I in a double on the other side) There is also a communal kitchen with seating. The room & communal areas are very clean and inviting.

We had a wonderful stay! This accommodation felt more like an apartment with multiple rooms, which was perfect for our family of four. What wasn’t mentioned on the booking site, but was such a pleasant surprise, is that there’s a communal kitchen. That was especially helpful for washing my little one’s bottles. The room itself was comfortable with very cozy beds. Check-in was smooth with clear instructions, and having an elevator made a big difference since we were on the 4th floor. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe, which gave us peace of mind traveling with kids. As a bonus, there’s a gelato shop right on the corner that stays open late—and it was honestly the best gelato we had in Rome! A convenience store across the street made it easy to grab anything we needed. Our host was wonderful—very friendly, checked in with us daily, and even recommended great local spots. We also loved the complimentary fresh croissants each morning. Overall, this place checked all of our boxes and made our trip so enjoyable. We would absolutely stay here again!

It is walkable when going to the Vatican but not really close to the Metro. The place is clean and modern toilets and beds- there is a quaint elevator but it works well- just small and old- i wish there was air conditioning outside the rooms and in the hallways. There’s fresh croissants daily and fridge in kitchen is available . The host was super nice.

A five minute walk to Vatican City. Small common area you could make coffee and pastries supplied. Room and bathroom exceptionally clean but very small for two travelers with luggage. No where to put it and open it without stepping over it constantly.

We traveled as a family of three - a couple and our teen son, and we stayed one week. The quad room was perfect for us with the unique configuration of having a diagonal wall between the bed spaces. It gave some privacy and allowed our son to watch TV while we went to sleep. The beds were very comfortable. The room was clean, and they provide excellent housekeeping service. We appreciated the simple breakfast provided each morning. We would stay here again.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind einfach zu Fuß erreichbar. Parkmöglichkeiten sind mit etwas Glück auch direkt neben der Unterkunft kostenlos zu erhalten. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilft bei wesentlichen Fragen zur Umgebung und Navigation weiter. Das Zimmer ist für drei Personen unter Umständen etwas klein. Wenn man allerdings ohnehin die meiste Zeit unterwegs verbringt, reicht es vollkommen aus. Im Bad waren hin und wieder kleine Ameisen aufzufinden, diese lassen sich aber auch für entspannte Gemüter einfach ignorieren. Insgesamt ist die Unterkunft schon recht hochwertig und hat den Rom Besuch atmosphärisch sehr gut ergänzt.

The room was very small and there was no one to help us On top of that there was a very bad noise coming from the bathroom and the kitchen all night we didn’t have a good night sleep I don’t advise anyone to go to this’s hotel

Great stay. The room was a little bit tight for the 4 of us, but at the end everything was just fine!! It as a two areas bethroom in the first area, there was the main bed with acces to the bathroom. Sharing the same back wall was the second bed, with enough space for a small wardrobe.

The property has a very quaint old lift, The room was pleasant and clean although the lack of instructions prior to arrival was concerning as there is no reception and the arrival information could have been better supplied before panic set in the day before flying. The location is great for the Vatican city and there is a great Gelato bar located right next door.

Fantastic property within a 2km walk of most sites Very clean, nicely decorated and Mary, the manager was very helpful in explaining area. Great restaurants within 10 min walk and several markets right out the door. This is a guest house not a hotel so we felt like we were living in Italy! Although we did have daily housekeeping service. Use the address to locate, then ring the bell on the big brown door frame and you’ll have no difficulty. Fresh croissants and coffee available all the time. We’d definitely stay there again!. Eat nearby at Soffitta Renovato and Trattoria Alfredo de Ada.

Stayed one night. It’s located close to many sights and landmarks. Be aware that there is no permanent staff, so it may get a little complicated if you arrive late. Room was comfortable. The elevator is very old, but works okay.

Very cool building and room. The staff was friendly and helpful when asked for accommodations or help around the city. Recommend having the WhatsApp available for communication. Made it very easy and accessible to staff when they were not around. We would absolutely stay here again if we come back to Rome. Highly recommend this place.

It is walkable when going to the Vatican but not really close to the Metro. The place is clean and modern toilets and beds- there is a quaint elevator but it works well- just small and old- i wish there was air conditioning outside the rooms and in the hallways. There’s fresh croissants daily and fridge in kitchen is available . The host was super nice.

Capricci Romani is an ideal place to stay for a number of reasons. Located within walking distance of the vatican, its lication also afforded a cinvenient starting point to visit all of the major attractions. You're first greeted by a vintage elevator with a handled door and a set of internal swinging doors. Make sure you close the doors when you reach your floor or the elevator will be stuck. The room is quite modern as seen in the promotional photos. The shower was very comfortable with both a wand and a rain shower head. Noteworthy is a bound and professionally printed recommendations book in both Italian and English pointing out nearby eateries for both aperitivi and dinner. My wife and I were very pleased with the several we tried and thankful for the recommendations. A cozy little common space, just outside our room, has several tables, self-serve coffee and espresso machines and fresh morning cornetti. All and all, Capricci Romani is a comfortable place and we would certainly stay again.

A wonderful stay, great location, lovely room worth all the amenities we needed. We loved the croissants left out for breakfast and the milk to make tea and coffee. Communicating via what's app was quick and easy. I wish all accommodation we stayed in was a pleasant as this and would happily recommend and stay again! Kids had 2 beds we had a king, fridge, and black out curtains. Air con and a charming lift to level 4.

We loved this place! It is very conveniently located to Vatican City and many other areas. Mary was the host at the property and she could not have been any more helpful and welcoming! The room was clean, well supplied and has all the amenities you could want. Mary also provided fresh croissants and coffee in the morning!

Capricci Romani was a great place to stay right in the heart of Rome! We were able to walk everywhere right from the hotel. Fresh pastries and espresso every morning was a great addition!

Our triple room was immaculately clean, comfortable and stylish. The shower is fabulous- and the toiletries and towels felt so luxurious. The whole place smells great and the air con works very well. Communication from hosts was really good - and we had enough privacy and space. We loved the vintage lift Thanks for the coffee and delicious pastries each morning. We would strongly recommend Capricci Romani

The bed covers and towels are very old. Bed is not comfortable, bathroom is very small. To turn the lights on, we needed to use the room key, so when we arrive late in the night, we could see anything as it was dark inside the room. So we had to lock the door key first, remove the key and turn the lights on. They advised that breakfast is included, but they offered only pastries no one would eat. I strongly encourage Hotels.com management to remove this property from their list of hotels in Rome. The cost of the room is so high compared to what they have offered.

Great location to sites & restaurants. (Note - we are walkers) The hosts are lovely and very helpful. They are only there limited hours, but I found them responsive to messages. Fortunately, we arrived when they were there, so checkin was very smooth. They bring in fresh croissants each morning and have tea & coffee available. The room was cute and innovative in how they separated the space (my teenagers were in 2 singles on one side of a wall; my husband & I in a double on the other side) There is also a communal kitchen with seating. The room & communal areas are very clean and inviting.

We had a wonderful stay! This accommodation felt more like an apartment with multiple rooms, which was perfect for our family of four. What wasn’t mentioned on the booking site, but was such a pleasant surprise, is that there’s a communal kitchen. That was especially helpful for washing my little one’s bottles. The room itself was comfortable with very cozy beds. Check-in was smooth with clear instructions, and having an elevator made a big difference since we were on the 4th floor. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe, which gave us peace of mind traveling with kids. As a bonus, there’s a gelato shop right on the corner that stays open late—and it was honestly the best gelato we had in Rome! Our toilet wouldn’t flush on our first evening and no one responded from the company until the next day. I had to take my family to a McDonald’s 1/2 mile away after midnight to use the restroom. No restaurants along the way would let us use their restrooms even when we offered to buy food or drinks because they said they were closing soon. I will be staying at hotels from now on where there’s at least one other bathroom to use if the toilet breaks and where staff are responsive.
