Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Cherry Hills by IHG

Everything was great! Loved having a free breakfast. Staff was nice. I have no complaints. The pool area was clean and I loved that they had fresh white pool towels rolled up on each table for people as well as more stacked on the side. Pool would be more appealing if maybe a couple of tall plants in the corner of room (even fake ones) and painted some of the wall areas blue so it is not so bland. (Not a complaint, just a suggestion.) Thank you for a nice stay.

Very pleasant stay very clean and tidy. The staff were very kind and helpful. My only complaint would be that some of the Gym equipment was falling apart and the door to the swimming pool was janky. Other than that it was great!

Hot tub was broken. It the room outlets and other electrical items were loose and hanging on the walls. The sofa was filthy and the neighbors were loud. I book the room for the hot tip and other items that did not work. I would not stay here again.

I understood a renovation had been done to the hotel. It was plain, bare and ugly. The lock messed up so the day manager told us there was a problem with the deadlock (a must in a hotel). He “fiddled” with it and got the door open. It wasn’t replaced. Bathroom sink backed up with used dental floss coming up from the drain as well as hair and shaving hair. I informed the front desk, next day the manager poured “Drano” down the drain. Don’t know if that fixed the problem because we used the tub faucet instead.No plumber came to fix it. We are seniors who have problems with stairs. We assumed the elevator would be operational the 2 days we were there. It was for one day. It was very hard carefully going down and up to the third floor. Had plans to use the hot tub, it was out of order due to a “chemical imbalance”. Saw no one working on it. We will NEVER use a Holiday Inn again. I believe we are due a refund or a lowered rate for our experience.

The room could have been a little cleaner, pop cap and plastic wrappers were left by previous people. But otherwise the rest was clean. I like the dove soaps they have available for washing and showering. The breakfast was good and pool was nice. Hit tub wasnt working due to chemical imbalance but otherwise looked like a good size. It was a good hotel and would recommend.

We stayed one night and used the pool. Room was clean and comfortable. The elevator and pool area had several tiles missing and could be improved. Breakfast provided a good variety.

Not a great experience. We didn't realize the hotel was under construction and were greeted with a parking lot full of shipping containers and old furniture, and the front of the hotel was cluttered with tools and construction materials. They appear to be remodeling multiple areas of the hotel at once, so there's stuff torn up everywhere. Our room looked like it had already been remodeled, but the workmanship was terrible. Additionally, the room wasn't all that clean and didn't improve after being cleaned. The TV in our room was broken, and we were told someone would come by to fix it, but no one did. The bathroom door didn't lock, and the door to the room couldn't be locked using the swing bar at the top because it wasn't sitting square in the frame. While we were there, a group was shooting off fireworks in the parking lot right next to the building and the cars. The staff at the front desk and breakfast area seemed to be less available/visible than in other hotels we have stayed at. I would not recommend staying here, and I can't believe we paid almost $200/night.

Renovations going on. Couldn’t use computers. Fake finger nails on air conditioner and tv stand. Whirlpool tub unsafe to get in due to sinking and cracked tile floor. Cracker crumbs on floor. Poor management. Only interested in money and not the customer. Wouldn’t issue any refund of any kind. Terribly over-rated. Will never stay at another Holiday Inn again. Buyer beware!!

The staff is very friendly my room definitely could have been a little cleaner … I don’t think the housekeeper tried very hard when the last people checked out … they got what they could see however they should of been more observant of what they could not

The hotel itself was clean. The breakfast was above average (breads, cereals, pancakes, eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, fruit). The one downside, as mentioned in other reviews, was that the a/c didn't function very well at all. Our room never dropped below 77. There was easy access to the freeway & several restaurants & gas stations close by. All in all, we would stay there again, but the a/c really needs to be fixed.

Our room was well clean on all the Holiday Inn we were staying in. The room itself need some fixing up. The bathroom door doesn't lock, the bathroom vent just make noise. The room isn't noise insulated. We were 2 floor up, but could hear people talking outside. The AC does cool, but make so much more noise compared to some of the other hotels we stayed in.

Comfortable room

The place was nice and we liked the Hot tub. The AC unit in room 307 was very loud and since there is a big gap at the bottom of the doors my wife had trouble sleeping from hallway noise all night.

Check in was quick and could get room approx 3 hours early. Nice hotel but a few small things needed to be fixed, i.e. plug-in next to bed, hand bar in shower loose and need a sleep mode on TV remote.

The size of the room was phenomenal and the front desk was very helpful and made sure we got a crib for our daughter as well as everything we needed . The jacuzzi tub in the bathroom was a nice surprise!

Blackout curtains were jammed when I first got there so there was no sunlight in the room, could have been an immediate fix. I’m sure there were plenty of rooms to choose from, but I was instructed to wait until maintenance came in the next morning at 7:30 or 8 rather than be moved to a new room as I suggested. I called the front desk at 10 asking to have my curtains fixed or be switched to a new room before unpacking, as it was well past 7:30 or 8. Maintenance man was very nice and fixed my curtains. Last morning there was the only time I was able to sleep past 7 AM—leads me to wonder if the following issue occurs every morning at this hotel. Around 8 AM I was woken by the loudest, ongoing conversation from housekeepers. It sounded as if they were in bed with me & went on for more than 10 minutes. I was eventually frustrated & called out asking them to quiet down but the conversation continued until they rapped on my door asking about service. I was about 30 minutes late to check out & was cleaning the room as I usually do before leaving when a housekeeper in a gold bonnet tried to bust aggressively through my door without warning. As I lock the metal piece, I called out & asked politely what she needed. She began to pound on the door & asked if I wasn’t checking out today and said “at 11 I just start opening doors.” She continued to speak with an attitude while I told her I would be out in a few minutes. She was clearly angry she couldn’t get in & made me very uncomfortable

Stay here every visit to Omaha. Had issues this visit with my room's thermostat, and the automatic window shades were very disappointing.

Room was large (Queen Suite) beds extremely comfortable; room clean. Breakfast was hot with multiple choices. Pool and hot tub well maintained and clean. Every staff member polite and with a smile

We were woken every morning by a toy or something being dropped on the ground in the room above us. 4 mornings in a row. We called the front desk and were told it would be handled. It was not. It was miserable. I will definitely purchase the trip insurance next time, so we can cancel and go somewhere else. Lesson learned.

Maybe I'm easy to please, but I honestly appreciate a hotel with HANDSOAP in the bathroom. AND they had all Dove products in the bathroom, and I love Dove. Everything was clean and up to par. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. There was ample parking. The location felt safe and secure. Will definitely stay here again when in Omaha.

It would of been great but i paid for my second night through hotels.com then at 3:32 in the morning the hotel charged me again. that hasnt been refunded yet

The front desk staff in the afternoon when we checked in and in the morning were super friendly and helpful! All the cleaning staff smiled and said hello anytime we passed them in the hall. Room was very clean, breakfast was good. We always live staying here when we are in Omaha!

The entire staff were great; they made my stay enjoyable. I'll definitely let family and friends know this Holiday Inn Express is the perfect place to stay while visiting Omaha, NE.

It was horrible we did a family trip and asked for all our rooms to be by one another so our kids could hang out and so us ladies could all be close since our husbands weren’t with us and we were out of state, front staff was extremely rude and didn’t even try to make it better we checked in shortly after 5 and had spent the whole day at the zoo our rooms were okay but one of us was put on completely different floor and her smoke alarm was broken we had told them up front but nothing was done about,

The hotel Manager genuinely was one of the nicest most courteous people I have ever dealt with. I would legitimately return just because of him. Conway not only has a super positive attitude but was also very personable. We left insulin in the refrigerator and wouldn't be staying with them for another 3 day. He made sure to not only hold onto it, but when we called again he knew us by name. Its not forced. He simply cares. Like I said I would stay because of him alone.

I wish every hotel stay could be like this one. We stayed for a one night staycation and couldn't have had a better experience. The two men that worked the front desk (one who checked us in and then other man working the next morning) were prime examples of hospitality. I don't normally leave reviews but these two men inspired me to leave them a review. The pool and hot tub were great, everything was clean, quiet, good breakfast, I could go on and on. Great stay.

The hotel was very clean. Room seemed updated and modern. Bed comfortable. breakfast was not impressive. Eggs were cold and not refreshed, simply a pan of egg crumbs. Pancake machine not functioning well. However the cinnamon rolls are good! Upon check out no one as the front desk. No bell to ring, no signage etc. waited nearly 10 minutes even after asking housekeeping to get someone. Tried to call front desk with no avail. Finally a man showed up and when asked why no attendants he snapped at me and said “I was in the washroom”. He coldly handed me my receipt. WOW. A simple apology and perhaps a sign of some sort saying he had to step away but would return soon would have helped. Simply an unsafe situation at best for the hotel overall. I left with a nasty taste after thinking what a nice place it was and would become my choice as I visit this area frequently. Certainly rethinking that ! IHG needs to work on their personnel as there are plenty of other choices out there.

Easy parking

Good beds, great breakfast, easy on easy off interstate, very clean only negative is 1 elevator. I was so glad it was quiet even close to interstate had me concerned. Need more retail n restaurants in that area will stay again !

The property was easy to locate and close to the HWY. there were also good food options within 10 minutes of the hotel. Would stay again if passing through.
