I am most upset that the pool is closed for renovations and 1) it is not updated on the listing/website and 2) I was not told it was closed when I asked about it at check in. This was the primary reason I booked this particular hotel. Additionally, check in took an unreasonably long time even though the staff people were friendly.

Hotel was great but only issue was parking is very misleading. On Expedia it shows parking is $10/night. On site, there are signs La Quinta provides courtesy parking for guests but inside at checked in I was informed to pay for parking online only and the price was $18/night. Also checking in online is useless because I still had to do the same paperwork at check in. It was the same questions, so it seemed useless to do it twice. I asked a question prior to checking in and I was ignored but followed protocol because I didn’t want issues.

I picked this hotel because of shuttle service to the airport only to find out that it runs only every 45 minutes. Therefore, I was about 3 hours early. The driver had only one stop at terminal 1 and I had to walk quite a distance to get to American with a bad foot.

We stayed there b4 and after our cruise. Before the cruise we were in the south building. Itt was very nice. After the cruise they assigned us to the north building. Extreme noise from CalTrain running all night. Also, you must walk to south building (couple hundred meters) for breakfast or shuttle or any needs. Both times rooms were clean, plenty of towels.

The hotel is fine and on par with other la quintas I’ve stayed at. Minus one star because they charge for my dog and parking per day while it’s not the case for other la quintas.

This area was very Gaza "esque". Not the good Gaza but homeless, concrete jungle. Room smelled of urine. Saw a roach in the bathroom. All this can be yours for $177.

This hotel felt like a sketchy place! The floor was dirty. The hallway was loud all night with slamming doors and yelling people. The parking rate is outrageous and not included in what you pay upfront. It’s paid through another entity. You also have to pay through the app. And, Then they charge you a “convenience fee” on top of the huge charge. Super slimy way to scam more money from unsuspecting travelers.

Found a COCKROACH in our room. Moved us to a new room, tv was broken and would not turn on even after front desk tried to help and remote was missing buttons. Moved us again to the other building and our dogs had to sleep in the car. They would only refund 1 night after all of this. Will never stay here again, should of left after the cockroach but we couldnt afford to move to an entire new hotel with only being refunded one night.

The hotel allows dogs and when we got to our room one of the trash cans was filled with dog hair and there was dog hair on the floor. We pulled out the sofa bed and it was dirty and looked like it had a cigarette burn in the sheet. The smoke alarm was hanging by a cable from the ceiling. I went to the hotel staff to request compensation. They said they would speak with their manager for compensation. it’s been almost two weeks and I haven’t heard back from them.

Checkin was quick and easy. They DO charge $10 per night parking for some reason. Bed was comfy. Room was clean,but smaller than expected. Train track behind hotel,and toy can hear the trains . Breakfast is good. Either bacon or sausage,eggs or omelets ,yogurt,bagels, toast..etc.

It was impossible to sleep in the room, there were very loud noise from fan in washroom and noise from air condition. Just like you were in a factory or on highway. The noise is more than 70db. We spent money for one night stay and couldn't get sleep. Waste money!

I've stayed at this property a few times, as it fits my budget, is kinda close to SFSU, and has parking. The rooms are clean & comfortable, the showerheads are tall enough for a 6'3" person. Never used the pool. The breakfast is edible, but won't win any awards. There are a couple of nagging issues. 1) There is PAID parking, not included You pay separately through a QR code that is posted on signs in the parking area. This detail is NEVER mentioned during registration or in confirmation messages. The rate is not posted on the signs. 2) Cable TV service is through DishTV, but the guide on the TV stubbornly says "No Information". 3) We tried to sign in to our own Netflix account (the hotel does not provide guests with one), but kept getting messages that the TV had no internet (despite multiple attempts to use the hotel's WiFi and that the TV is connected to a DishTV ethernet cable). We gave up eventually and used a laptop. 4) The property is nestled between MUNI lines and the 101 freeway. Inside the room, it is pretty quiet. The nearest dining option is Denny's (same parking lot). There are a few fast food options nearby, maybe 0.5 mile away, but anything else will likely require transportation. 5) The hotel has two buildings, separated by disused railroad tracks.

Staff at check in was rude little to no help. Was placed far from breakfast area on a whole nother building, with kids sucked. Train and freeway was noisy. Night time you can see lights thru the door, walls are thin you can hear the person next to you talking.

The property was convenient to the airport but that’s it! The girl that was there when we checked in was rude and acted like we were bothering her however the girl in the morning when we caught the shuttle was great! Helpful and kind and acknowledged us when we walked into the lobby.

This hotel truly stands out, and I have nothing but good things to say about it. The rooms were impeccable—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the location is fantastic. The parking lot is spacious and easy to access, which made coming and going hassle-free. My room was well-equipped with convenient amenities like a microwave, mini fridge, a TV with a great selection of channels, and fast, reliable WiFi. Everything I needed was right there. I want to give a special shoutout to Tina at the front desk. I had a hectic itinerary, and she helped me navigate it like a champ—she was professional, patient, and went above and beyond. I stayed for an entire week and had a great experience from start to finish. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through the area. You won’t be disappointed!

I have stayed at this hotel about 4 times now. I’ve always liked it but it has declined in service. I went to check got my key no problem. I went to my room and the key wasn’t working. I go back to the office …not in the same building as my room. I go to the front and I tell them. They give me a new key. I go back to the room. It opens the room. We were about to go inside and peoples stuff were still in the room. (The people did not check out yet). I go back to the office and tell them and it was just like and oh the person who checked you in messed up. I let them know that it was not okay because if it wasn’t us… some could’ve stolen the stuff… literally ignored what I said and they looked for another room… as they began searching .. I told them I want it in the main hotel not the back because I’ve already gone back and forth… Overall not good… the front desk was not good and the customer service… I would not recommend…

Good property option for SFO airport. Our main requirements for selection was free breakfast and free airport shuttle and this was perfect. The area surround the hotel didn't seem that inviting but they said it was safe and there was a nice street with lots of shops in about an 8-minute walk. We just stayed at the hotel so I can't comment on that. There was an IHOP next door as another dining option but we were tired and just had some pizza delivered. The free hot breakfast was good... lots of choices. Staff was very pleasant.

Right next to the 101 freeway but very quiet. Minutes from SFO. Denny's restaurant right next door. Nice room and breakfast but expensive for what you receive. Homeless camps all around the back of the property. a real mess. Easy parking but they charge extra for each vehicle. Grandson said pool was nice. I would stay again.

This hotel has 2 buildings. One has all the amenities and the other is down the block. No shuttle between the two. You have to walk between the buildings and haul your own luggage. Thank goodness it wasn't raining or we would have gotten wet. Room was cleanish, but we had a bug in our bathroom. Oh, did I mention there were railroad tracks between the buildings? And not a nice part of town. And the ice machine in our building was broken so we had to walk to the other building to get ice. And the breakfast was in the other building and the airport shuttle pickup.

I like my experience in general , a good hotel to stay one day. But I had some troubles at check in because the girl at the front desk poorly explained where my room was located. Also, when I got to the building the carpet was pretty old and stained, a huge garbage bag was in the middle of the aisle and it smelled really bad. The outside is a little unsettling too, the building is near the train tracks and it feels a little bit unsafe. I will recommend if you are just passing through SF.

Breakfast is good and enough. But variety can be more eg. Eggs other than scrambled can be boiled or fried. Fruit other than apple and banana, can be of other combination. Guest like me for weekly stay would not want to eat any more at the three end days. Besides please add a stand light at the side of TV in the guest room where is completely dark.Every time I search things in my luggage or drawers, I have to switch on my phone light . .

While having breakfast I watched one of the ladies push the trash down with her hands. While that wasn't an issue this was: She then went into the kitchen (I was sitting at a table that looked right into the kitchen) did not wash her hands but started filling the bagel tray without gloves!!! On a different day while on the shuttle bus the driver had a confrontation with a gentleman. The gentleman got off the shuttle but threw his cup of soup on the shuttle doors. Three days later the soup was still there!! Take some pride, wash your shuttle van!!!!

One of the light bulbs was out, and the bathroom door squeaked when it closed. Breakfast was lacking in variety; on our second day, everything was gone an hour and a half before the scheduled closing time. No fruit, no muffins, no waffles, no milk... nothing!
