Cute, clean, comfy old time motel. I had room 115. Everything worked fine, plenty of lights, plenty of accessible outlets for charging, mini fridge with freezer section for ice packs. It was very quiet, no shared walls with other rooms. Comfy bed, good pillows, great water pressure, nice towels. Heater/AC worked fine. Interior door trim needs repair but the door itself was secure. The bathroom door knob and toilet roll holder need tightening up with a screwdriver. Don't let the few dings on the wall bother you, you're not buying the place! It was nice to be able to park right next to the room door.

Older but a fine place. Has a car port! One issue: there was no cold water! Hot came out of all faucets - sink and shower. Probably just this unit and I was only there to sleep, so didn’t get a chance to tell or ask anyone about it. Good price for a 15 min detour - half to a third the price of those off I80.

The authentic mid century modern furniture and decor was enjoyable. The parking was easy. Room was clean enough with no bugs or anything. Save your receipt because they said they can't provide duplicates. Bedding was comfortable. In room coffee was fine. I thought it was expensive for what you get but this is considered in the Cedar Point area. Was the most affordable in the area. I found it restful.

This motel was an excellent value. I need basic lodging for the night before the 4/8 eclipse, and it served that purpose well. This motel was not charging astronomical prices (unlike others in town) and I was satisfied with the experience Pluses - clean (but spartan) - room has microwave and refrigerator - pleasant staff (although my interaction was brief) - comfortable bed - neighborhood seems safe - OK to park my car on property for the afternoon after I checked out - plenty of towels Minuses - room needs significant paint touch up - heater / AC is noisy. It came on about every 15 minutes at a volume that made it nearly impossible to hear the TV at a normal volume. Made it difficult to fall asleep, although once I was asleep it did not wake me up. - door needs weatherstripping. You can see daylight around the door jamb. I suspect there might be a draft in winter, which would cause the heater to run frequently. - microwave needed to be cleaned. - BYO facial tissue

It was just a few of us bikers wanting a cheap place to stay. The facilities are old and we didn't care about that. The main problem I had was the cleanliness and the smell of our room. There was mold all over the bathroom ceiling and walls. The shower hadn't been cleaned in Lord knows how long. Cob webs and dead bugs. Unknown splatters of "liquid" on the walls. Everything in the kitchen was filthy including inside the fridge and stove. They didn't have enough towels but did get us more. Woman at front counter was very nice at least.

I've stayed here before about 2 years ago and it was fine. The room was fine this time but the shower was gross so I didn't use it, used wet wipes that I had instead to clean up. Would have been nice to use the shower as I was at the races that day. Worst part was check in. I could not understand a single word the foreign speaking guy was trying to say through the thick panel of glass. Then he tried to keep my credit card. When I asked for it back he started making a copy of it and writing things down, like he was copying security code or something. He had already run my card it it was approved and I had a receipt so there was NO legitimate reason to be doing this. So I had to say really loud that I was not comfortable with it, then he wanted my driver's license again, and I repeated really loud I was not comfortable with this. Finally got my card back but now have to consider getting a new one.

For an older property, it was very clean. The staff was very nice. Although it was a non-refundable property, we had no choice of going. we have a wedding that got canceled. It was a downer that we could not get refunded.

Room was dirty, smelly, shower was dirty, dirty washcloth was left sink. Property was not kept up. Some trash laying around property. They did come and clean the room, but at this point my opinion of this location was not going to improve.

People were really nice, but it was dirty. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned, light didn’t work, no coffee refilled from before, smelled like smoke. Bed was comfy. You get what you pay for.

This place is a gem, a vintage midcentury motel that's been well-maintained and also features modern conveniences. I try to patronize locally & independently owned classic motels and this place was everything I could have hoped for: clean, comfortable and spacious. Fridge, microwave, flatscreen TV, wifi...it was all good. Fabulous roomy tiled shower. Plush towels and crisp linen. I would definitely stay here again.

It was in the location I needed. But it was pricey for the condition. Like other reviewers, I found the cleanliness to be poor. Cigarette burns on the blankets. The fridge has ice and water in the door, but it didn't work. There was a one cup coffee maker and cups, but for having a full kitchen, they could have provided at least some utensils and paper plates. I. The shower there was some shampoo, but one envelope was opened. There was an apple I the fridge. The furniture was clearly old (like found on the roadside old) but the stove did work.

It came on about every 15 minutes at a volume that made it nearly impossible to hear the TV at a normal volume. Made it difficult to fall asleep, although once I was asleep it did not wake me up. - door needs weatherstripping. You can see daylight around the door jamb. I suspect there might be a draft in winter, which would cause the heater to run frequently. - microwave needed to be cleaned. - BYO facial tissue

First off, thought that we checked in okay. The lady from the office had our key ready. She was hanging out with the obviously long term guests. She went into the room first to make sure that it was cleaned. We have different opinions as to what clean is. I have pictures. Nasty room. Tub was dirty and mildew. Brown water came out of the shower. Although I didn’t see any bugs, I made sure not to leave anything on the floor. There was a refrigerator that had a branch holding the stuff on the shelf. I managed to fall asleep, when we got woken up at 10:45pm with banging on the door. It was a different woman from the office. She wanted us to come down to the office to give her our ID. We were already asleep in our pajamas. Heck no I won’t be going down to the office with you. Not our problem that the other woman didn’t check us in properly. She let me email her a copy of my license. Picture in the room was hung upside down. Crazy place. Run, do not walk.

Older but a fine place. Has a car port! One issue: there was no cold water! Hot came out of all faucets - sink and shower. Probably just this unit and I was only there to sleep, so didn’t get a chance to tell or ask anyone about it. Good price for a 15 min detour - half to a third the price of those off I80.

The authentic mid century modern furniture and decor was enjoyable. The parking was easy. Room was clean enough with no bugs or anything. Save your receipt because they said they can't provide duplicates. Bedding was comfortable. In room coffee was fine. I thought it was expensive for what you get but this is considered in the Cedar Point area. Was the most affordable in the area. I found it restful.

The property is old and the owners are working on bringing it up to date. Location is super convenient to where I needed to be this week and within walking distance of Dairy Queen. Even if full; it is very quiet.

This was my second stay at this motel in the past year--in the very same room, in fact--and again I enjoyed my stay. The motel is located conveniently on the eastern edge of town, with comfortable bed, fridge & microwave, and decent wifi. I was unhappy that the reading lamps adjacent to the bed had been removed. The bathroom is classic midcentury tile with a large walk-in shower. But a shelf to put personal toiletry items appears to be missing, which was a disappointment--and surprisingly there was no guest soap. I make a point of staying at independent motels and enjoyed this place previously--I hope ownership addresses some of the comfort & convenience issues that have arisen at this wonderful & historic motor court.
