Das Frühstück ist leider weit unter dem Durchschnitt um nicht zu sagen nicht empfehlenswert. Das Personal wirkt unorganisiert. Die Zimmer sind sauber aber nur mäßig ausgestattet. Die Parkmöglichkeiten sind leider stark limitiert. Ich musste im nächsten Parkhaus 140,- EUR für 2 Tage bezahlen- das ist schon ordentlich. Dafür ist die Lage fantastisch.

It was highly satisfactory. The lift was broken but I was offered help with my luggage. Maps of city were offered. There was a pleasant outdoor area where I had lunch. Soup was delicious. Good location. Would have liked some more anglophone channels on TV. Also a non-slip shower mat would help to avoid falls. At my conference I met a Dutch man who was able to point out his Grandfather in a procession of legal dignitaries.

sehr zentral gelegen - eine kurze Fußentfernung von Dom und Oudegracht. Sehr nettes Personal. Frühstück ok, Buffet könnte allerdings reichhaltiger sein. Kleine Schwächen im Zimmer wurden schnell beseitigt. Parkhaus ist 7 Gehminuten entfernt und Erreichbarkeit mit dem Auto war aufgrund einer gesperrten Straße etwas umständlich.

Lovely stylish decor, the bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable. Friendly staff. Excellent location close to Oudegracht and approx 15 mins from centraal station. The hotel had a very nice atmosphere, fun and enjoyable, yet cool and stylish too. A lovely large courtyard area to have drinks or a meal. It was a little noisy in the rooms at the front, and a fridge in the room would have been a good addition.

Thematisch gelungenes Hotel in top Lage. Keine 3 Minuten und man ist mitten an den Grachten. Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß, sauber und technisch in Ordnung. Der Zimmerservice könnte etwas geschickter agieren, wann man da ist und wann nicht... Das Personal sonst war freundlich und bemüht. Zum Frühstück können wir nichts sagen, aber die Bar im Außenbereich sah an warmen Abenden super aus. Eine gute Wahl für einen echten City-Trip.

The hotel looks nice and is in a great location, however, it is also noisy, looks poorly maintained (while I was there, elevators were broken down, and the shower was throwing water in all directions), and the restaurant has gone down a lot in quality. This was once a really nice hotel, I don't think it still is.

I was in Utrecht for a conference and opted to stay here rather than near the train station. The hotel was great value for a contemporary, spotless room in a very lovely location. One block away from the Dom (at the back) but very quiet street and area. I walked to the bus stop daily (10 minutes) for travel to conference held at the Science Centre- very convenient and a lovely walk to start the morning. Only negative was the breakfast - expensive for what you get. There are better options nearby. Beware of ordering water at the restaurant...5,75 for "Ecotapwater" !

Si trova in una posizione comoda per visitare la città e non lontana dalla stazione. Personale gentile ma mediamente preparato. La stanza veniva riordinata ma non propriamente pulita abbiamo teovato le stesse briciole del giorno precedente. Ma tutto sommato buono.

Die Lage des Hotels ist wirklich super, um die Innenstadt von Utrecht zu Fuß zu erkunden. Die Kommunikation bezüglich eines Parkplatzes war sehr unkompliziert und die Mitarbeiter haben per Email vorab sehr schnell geantwortet. Wir hatten ein Zimmer direkt am Kanal. War eine sehr schöne Vorstellung, jedoch war die Ausstattung des Zimmers sowie die Sauberkeit leider enttäuschend. Das Zimmer war sauber, jedoch hätte mal wieder Staub gewischt werden können, Reparaturen durchgeführt werden und die Liebe zum Detail hat gefehlt. Leider ist das Zimmer den Preis absolut nicht wert. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The strong smell of sewage as you enter the hotel is so off putting. Room air conditioning wasn't working and temperature wouldn't change from 27degrees so a very uncomfortable night.

Außerdem könnten die Kissen und Matratzen ausgetauscht werden. War zwei Nächte da und haben durch Lärm und dem Bett das Zimmer gewechselt. Ansonsten OK. Zwei Nächte Königstag-Wochenende 380€ bezahlt.

Prima ligging, mooie kamer, goed bed. Minpuntje ; de kamerdeuren sluiten met een klap dicht, dat hoor je goed als een andere gast vroeger vertrekt of binnen komt. Ik hoef niet gewekt te worden om 07.00 uur.

Mooi sfeervol hotel op een leuke locatie in Utrecht. De kamers zijn wel heel gehorig met geluid op de gang en verkeer/mensen buiten. Ruime badkamer met een heel klein onhandige wastafel.

Sentralt plassert i gamlebyen. Har du bil anbefaler jeg å parkere i nærmeste p hus og gå inn for gatene er veldig trange og fulle av sykler. Gateparkering er dessuten dyrt! Hotellet var lekkert og rommet nyoppusset og stilig. God seng. God plass. Stort fint bad. Bra AC men den bråkte litt. Gangavstand til absolutt alt! Noe støy fra gaten på lørdag kveld. Bor gjerne her igjen!

Sentralt plassert i gamlebyen. Har du bil anbefaler jeg å parkere i nærmeste p hus og gå inn for gatene er veldig trange og fulle av sykler. Gateparkering er dessuten dyrt! The room was exactly as pictured. Fantastic location- about a 15 minutes walk from train station and close to Domtower. Luckily weather was around 20C as room seemed to get hot and we could cool it with opening an outside door. We could not figure out how to set thermostat but didn’t ask for help. We faced back into courtyard. The church bells ring every 15 minutes with a longer ring on the hour- the bells a heard throughout the area. It had a restaurant that we didn’t try - we heard it was good from a local. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We arrived about 1 pm and we were given an early checkin as room was ready- very appreciated after an overnight flight.

Stylish, clean room with giant windows and new furniture. Also: great water pressure in the shower! The bed is a little soft for those who like it hard, but that’s something that everyone has their own preferences on. I really love our room and we will definitely come again and again as long as the price that we payed (approx. 130 incl. tax) won’t get increased in future.

Hotellet ligger meget sentralt. Vi kom med bil og hadde bestilt parkering. Umulig å finne parkeringen selv med GPS. Liten hjelp å få på hotellet. Vanskelig å finne veien i Utrecht da det er smale gater og mye enveiskjøringer. Pass opp for syklister. Ingen regler for disse, helt kaos. Hotellet ser ut som en del av et skolesystem. Mye studenter. Dette førte med seg høy musikk langt utover natten. Rommet ok, men høyt under taket gjorde det litt upersonlig. Frokosten var dårlig. Bestikk manglet, vi måtte lete det frem selv. Frokostrommet virket som en gammel studentkantine så også her var det upersonlig. Hotellet stod ikke til forventningene. Ser flott ut på Hotels.com, men der ble vi skuffet. Har du bil, unngå dette hotellet. En ting var bra, veldig hyggelig betjening. Jan

A lovely hotel, with lovely, friendly, helpful staff. The whole place IS a hotel, of course, but it doesn't feel like it somehow; rather, it feels like a home-away-from home. Thoroughly relaxing and in a lovely part of the city, where it is a joy to be woken by the sound of the intricate church bells from the impressive Dom.

Well located, close to the buzzing centre of Utrecht, but in a relatively quiet street. We had no issue finding the hotel. The room was well proportioned and well equipped for our needs. Plenty of storage space available. Being able to open the full length window/doors was an advantage. Reception staff were welcoming and happy to answer questions/requests.

Well located, close to the buzzing centre of Utrecht, but in a relatively quiet street. We had no issue finding the hotel. The room was well proportioned and well equipped for our needs. Plenty of storage space available. Being able to open the full length window/doors was an advantage. Reception staff were welcoming and happy to answer questions/requests.

There are major staff shortcomings. I was charged twice for the same stay. Very noisy. There are parties in the restaurants on the ground floor, and all this spills over into the rooms. I wanted to avoid the big chain hotels for a more local experience, but I would not recommend this hotel for a stay in beautiful Utrecht.

The hotel was modern, elegant and unique. The room large, had confortable beds and was exclusively decorated. It was right in the center of the historic city next to the cathedral and tower. One of the hotel receptionists was so friendly and helpful, he went far beyond his normal duties to make our trip a success.

I was in Utrecht for a conference and opted to stay here rather than near the train station. The hotel was great value for a contemporary, spotless room in a very lovely location. One block away from the Dom (at the back) but very quiet street and area. I walked to the bus stop daily (10 minutes) for travel to conference held at the Science Centre- very convenient and a lovely walk to start the morning. Only negative was the breakfast - expensive for what you get. There are better options nearby. Beware of ordering water at the restaurant...5,75 for "Ecotapwater" !

sehr zentral gelegen - eine kurze Fußentfernung von Dom und Oudegracht. Sehr nettes Personal. Frühstück ok, Buffet könnte allerdings reichhaltiger sein. Kleine Schwächen im Zimmer wurden schnell beseitigt. Parkhaus ist 7 Gehminuten entfernt und Erreichbarkeit mit dem Auto war aufgrund einer gesperrten Straße etwas umständlich.

Hotellet ligger meget sentralt. Vi kom med bil og hadde bestilt parkering. Umulig å finne parkeringen selv med GPS. Liten hjelp å få på hotellet. Vanskelig å finne veien i Utrecht da det er smale gater og mye enveiskjøringer. Pass opp for syklister. Ingen regler for disse, helt kaos. Hotellet ser ut som en del av et skolesystem. Mye studenter. Dette førte med seg høy musikk langt utover natten. Rommet ok, men høyt under taket gjorde det litt upersonlig. Frokosten var dårlig. Bestikk manglet, vi måtte lete det frem selv. Frokostrommet virket som en gammel studentkantine så også her var det upersonlig. Hotellet stod ikke til forventningene. Ser flott ut på Hotels.com, men der ble vi skuffet. Das Frühstück ist leider weit unter dem Durchschnitt um nicht zu sagen nicht empfehlenswert. Das Personal wirkt unorganisiert. Die Zimmer sind sauber aber nur mäßig ausgestattet. Die Parkmöglichkeiten sind leider stark limitiert. Ich musste im nächsten Parkhaus 140,- EUR für 2 Tage bezahlen- das ist schon ordentlich. Dafür ist die Lage fantastisch.

Ravishing place, great location if you want to explore the old town and canal areas. Room was huge and very nice. Staff was lovely. The only nick in the stars were on my last day at breakfast. Someone was sick so the breakfast hostess was alone, having that and the reception as well. The hostess worked tirelessly so serve us all and keep everything in check but it was kind of an impossible job. So I got a little agitated when a hotel crewmember stood folding napkins for the dinner service instead of helping her. That can wait - help your coworker instead! Being in the business I almost got up to clean all the plates from the tables, but even the kitchen counter was full and there was nowhere to put them.

We had a memorable stay at the Court Hotel and will surely make it our “home away from home” hotel stay on our next vacation to Utrecht. We enjoyed the food breakfast, lunch and dinner was superb. The staff everyone was amazing and very friendly. Checking in and out was easy.

Great location. Since I am an attorney, the Court with its judge and lawyer photos and connections to the court were just fun and comforting to me. Friendly service, a super good convenient breakfast, very comfortable bed and good looking room too. All good. But , somehow I rushed out to make my flight and forgot my receipt.

Lovely stylish decor, the bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable. Friendly staff. Excellent location close to Oudegracht and approx 15 mins from centraal station. The hotel had a very nice atmosphere, fun and enjoyable, yet cool and stylish too. A lovely large courtyard area to have drinks or a meal. It was a little noisy in the rooms at the front, and a fridge in the room would have been a good addition.

Great location, close enough to walk from the train. We stayed in one of the canal rooms which was fun and novel. The only downside is being away from the main hotel, I think these rooms get a bit forgotten and are becoming a bit run down. In the description it mentioned a sitting area outside which would have been great since we were there during a heatwave but there was nothing. Inside the rooms was a chaise lounge which was comfortable for 1 person but no chair for the second person, the mini fridge didn't work, the air-conditioner hose was laying on the floor and it looked like it needed to be set up in a window so we didn't use it and thankfully it cooled down in the evenings, there were splatters on the walls and lots of dust bunnies under the bed. The bed was comfortable and the staff were super helpful and came to our room to help with Wi-Fi and bring an extra pillow (why do Dutch hotels only provide one each!?). People have mentioned noise to be an issue, we could definitely hear the church bells ringing every 15 minutes all night and day but with ear plugs we were able to tune it out at night and the same for the cars driving overhead. The idea of the room was great but overall we found to be lacking in cleanliness and amenities. The city on the other hand exceeded our expectations.
