AC in the lobby was out along with the hallways. The first room they put me in the AC was also broken. Second room the floor was damp, towels were tattered and worn. By the next night the floor had dried but the room was musty.

This place is not what is show. Lobby door would not close, leaving it open when employee goes in the back to sit. Then the pool is green, roaches on the walls, no hot water, no towel, bedding nasty. We left a day early and getting out of there.

Our room was very run down. The couch was badly stained and had tears in it. The toilet ran all the time. The elevator was filthy and smelled badly. For the breakfast they offered it was waffles but were out of syrup cereal but saw no milk. We went to ihop. We have stayed here many times in the past but it’s been a few years. It has really gone down hill. We won’t be back.

Bed had lots of hair and pillows as well as floor and shower had lots of hair as well all needs better cleaning and change of bed sheets had to go get new ones at front desk and we didn’t have towels and our reservation was check in time at 3pm with 4 people but only 2 towels left hand towel was stained and it was just not a pleasent stay. Pool had trash in it. Breakfast was plain. Waffles cereal and oatmeal. But we got what we paid for I guess. Just didn’t like that there was so much hair from prior stays of someone else .

We did not stay because AC was broken, floors sweating and soaking wet right when you walk in, elevator took over 3 minutes which once we got off the doors closed and took our kids up which was unsafe, the outside building looked dilapidated with no curtains or blinds on the third floor, window open on second floor hallway, rug pulled up in elevator not stabilized; trip hazard

When we checked in we were given a room that smelt like straight smoke. All the smoke detectors in the room were gone. Called the front desk lady didn’t believe me it seemed but switched our room. Only to find out the room we got was hot and gross. We were given a room right next to a proper exit as well where people were standing and smoking. There was no ac in the building. Windows and doors were open.

Good heavens. I just needed an impromptu late night place to sleep a few hours and have a shower at the end of a road trip delayed by thunderstorms. All rooms in Abilene were ridiculously high compared to normal, 200+. This one was over $100 for the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in after years of travel. No A/C anywhere in the hotel except rooms. The front desk guy was miserably hot, but still friendly. Kudos to him. He spent several minutes sorting through a stack of used key jackets to find one with the correct number on it. They reuse them, and they were worn. Yuck. The room took forever to cool down. The bed was rickety to the point I was afraid to turn over too quickly. The mattress literally tipped when I sat down. Chips and food were still on the floor from the last stay. I found no evidence of bedbugs, though, and stayed since it was after midnight and my reservation online was non refundable. Pillows were so old they should have been tossed years ago. The bedding was old, worn, and full of holes. Skimpy thin towels, no soap or shampoo, so I skipped the shower because I was afraid of the tub being dirty. I basically crashed a few hours, redressed, and left quickly. No one was at the desk when I left. I dropped my keys on the front desk and ran. Please listen to me - do not stay at this location. Sketchy people all around, nasty facility. Wish I’d taken pictures, but I just escaped as quickly as I could.

Our stay was horrible, we arrived the first night and were gave a room that smelled like urine, there were body fluid stains on the linens and the linens were dirty. My 73 year old mother had an allergic reaction to the bed and we found up having bed bugs.

Room had a lot of trash under the pull out sofa. Sofa was disguising and tore up, refrigerator stained with what looked like coffee spills, had blood stains in places on bed and curtains that resemble bed bugs being there, put us in a smoking room instead of the non smoking that I requester and Wouldn’t give a discount because of room being that way.

This property was run down with very poor cleaning. The first room I was given smelled like cigarettes, dog urine, and was not clean. I asked immediately to change rooms. The attendant told me that had been a frequent issue. The next room smelt better but also appeared unclean. It looked as if they only made the bed. The bathroom shower had gel on the tub and hair in the sink. The floor was not vacuumed and had food on it. The microwave had mold on it. I was very disappointed but stuck it out because it was so late at night. Upon morning, I looked up from the bed and noticed blood on the ceiling. I immediately notified the attendant who stated she had no idea about the blood. I asked to check out early and left. I notified Expedia of the concerns and they attempted to get my refund. The hotel manager tried to say I never checked in. They tried to say I was a no-show. Thank goodness I took about 20 pictures to prove I was there and to show all of the nastiness. I will never ever go back to a Super 8 hotel again. Not only was it disgusting, but I felt unsafe. Im so unsure if I should have called the police about the suspected blood.

We stayed in room 121 on August 26, 2014, The door would not lock or shut It kept popping open throughout the night TV didn’t work AC unit didn’t work no Internet back entryway door was broke vending machine was broke. Ice machine was broke. I told front desk what was going on and asked for another room in which I was told they couldn’t do that and they would send maintenance to check it out around 8:30 PM we was moved to another room we checked in on August 27,2024 at 12:30am. No breakfast in the morning rude Staff, They moved this to room 118. We stayed there about thirty minute left came back and couldn’t get back into the room so we slept in the hallway Two hours waiting on them to try to figure out what’s wrong with the door. The keys wouldn’t work the batteries wouldn’t work and the door wouldn’t open. Moved t room 105 tv Didn’t work Cable box did not work coffee machine was disgusting no towels Still no ice machine or vending It was hot inside the hotel lobby and hallways on August 27, 2024 we was asked if we were checking out or staying over we said we were staying over they moved us from a one king Bed to a double king bed for the mishaps of our stay August 28, 2024 they charged us $79.39 for our previous night stay with an attitude I was told the $45 rate did not apply to me because I had a double bed. I did not ask for a double bed I asked for a single king, because we stayed over an extra night due to lack of sleep they over charged us we want a FULL REFUND.

The knob to the only sink in the room came off right as I tried turning the sink on. The bathmat was permanently fused to the bottom of the shower. The part of the doorframe that the lock interfaces with was not working and unless you specifically made sure it was seated correctly, the door could be opened by simply pushing on it. Additionally, the actual deadbolt lock would not engage at all.

It's an ok place. But be aware all the hallways smell like weed, even though the rooms are non-smoking. There was a huge hole in the ceiling above the tub and the shower head was falling out of the wall, as was the rod. The breakfast was extremely disappointing - coffee, juice, rotten apples, cereal but no milk, instant oatmeal but no hot water! The staff were nice and the bed was clean. The grassy pet area was well maintained and free of garbage so that was nice too. I don't know if I'd stay here again but it wasn't totally bad.

Broken bathroom doorknob, holes in bedspread (non-smkoking room but holes look like cigarette burns), tv did not work (roku required internet reported to front desk but no one ever came to fix) stayed on 2nd floor hallway windows (both ends of hall) were left open even overnight no screens to stop someone from climbing up and onto the floor and it rained overnight, 2 lamps next to bed only 1 w/a bulb, got up in the middle of the night to go to bathroom and killed 2 roaches.

I pre-paid rooms and upon my crews arrival at 6:30 pm they were told by the front desk that the hotel was overbooked and my crew's 3 rooms were not available. No email, no call, nothing but "hey your rooms aren't available because we are overbooked" . I contacted the front desk and was asked why I so upset, really dude where would your attitude be if you were in my shoes. Abilene is supper tight on rooms right now due to a very large construction site north of town. There was nothing else available in town, had to drive 52 miles to book another room in Eastland. Contacted the front desk the next morning to speak with the manager, which was not available out on personal business. The front desk pulled the reservation and said 5 rooms were available but the cleaning crew had to leave early. I inquired why I was not notified, with no answer. A simple call could have avoided this and i would not have had to scramble for other accommodations at 7 pm at night. Night desk help was rude, i will not book this hotel again, dont care if i have to sleep in my car. Terrible customer service ...... :-(

There are guys hanging out drinking by the main entrance and smoking while charging their phone. Guys sitting in the vehicle just watching everything you do. We received a key card that opened 2 different hotel doors but there were someone’s belongings already in both rooms. It’s hot/humid in the building. Smells of mildew, animal urine and smoke. It also looks like nobody cleans anything. We didn’t not stay, we ran out of there and told the clerk how unsafe this place is. 1 key card should not be able to open several hotel room doors!!

Room ok but only 1 towel for 3 adults. Made 3 attempts at desk to acquire additional towels. Pillows need an upgrade bad. Busy motel. Possibly understaffed night manager. Some wear in room. Amazing food across the street at "Golden Chipstick' made the average room and limited breakfast worth the stay.

There was no one at the front desk when we arrived. We didn't have hand towels or washcloths until later in the day. There was no hair dryer in the room. The one lamp by the nightstand was broken with no bulb. The connecting door would not lock. The ice machine was broken the entire time we were there. There was no diet coke or pepsi in the vending machines. There was no diabetic food available in the morning. Only waffles, dry cereal, and instant oatmeal. We will probably stay somewhere else next time we are in Abilene.

Nobody at the front desk. Instructions at call someone to the desk. I called three times before getting them to come. In the room, one wash cloth, one hand towel, one towel. The room needs some serious remodeling. I chose to take a shower instead of a bath because the tub was so bad. No internet. At the free breakfast, there was no food. No cups for coffee. One carafe of coffee. No decaf, no tea, no hot water for tea, no cups to put tea or coffee into. Children eating dry cereal one cornflake at a time because it was the only thing left. Again, nobody at the front desk to complain to. The receipt had my information on the top, however the credit card last four digits were not my card. The receipt had someone else's address. I will not be staying here again.
