The pool and hot tub were closed for maintenance and one of the main reasons I chose this hotel was because it has a hot tub. When you are on the road all day a hot tub is nice. Also the blow dryer in the room didn't work.

The pool and Hot Tub were working great. The only problem was weak WiFi. I had a hard time using the Internet and had to use my "hotspot" most of the time. Otherwise this was a great place to stay for the price.

Excellent stay did not gave 5 stars because the elevator wasn’t working and my room was on 4 th floor, some minor details on cleanliness of bedsheets. Highly recommend this place spite of these minor issues

The pool was closed and that’s the only reason we went in the elevators did not work. We were on the third floor and my mom is an older lady and it’s hard for her to go up all the stairs.

Elevator wasn't working then we were putting a room that maintenance was working on. They were both very kind We had a very heavy piece of luggage and I recently had a follow-up surgery from a mastectomy so carrying the luggage up the stairs was difficult

Air conditioning was not working in lobby and hallways. Room was fine. Half of the mattress was collapsed from years of use. Very sparse on amenities. Business center, pool, fitness center all closed for "renovation." Breakfast included powdered eggs and boiled sausages, but the waffle maker worked well. Expect carbs for breakfast if you want anything decent. Woman at front desk seemed like she had to work for 24 hours straight due to other staff calling in, but she was available when we had to request bedding materials for the fold out couch. Seems like the staff were working with limited funds from Comfort Suites as a business. We will find another hotel in the area next time.

This hotel is guilty of fraudulent advertising and should be avoided. The indoor pool and spa are not functional and there seems to be no intent to make them functional. Comfort Suites has this issue all over the country and needs to be held accountable for lacking integrity.

I have to travel to Abilene on an annual basis. This was my first time at this hotel. I was pleasantly surprised, especially in comparison with some of the other hotels I've stayed at before in the area. The only area of improvement would be the fitness center. The cardio equipment needs updating. The elliptical was terrifying, it was wobbly and made loud noises when climbing on. For the record I'm a pretty small person so that wasn't the issue. It's just very old and needs some tlc. Unfortunately I think some of their free weights have been stolen so it's not a complete set and also, the exercise bike which I ended up using due to the elliptical issue, also needs some tlc. The adjustment lever isn't working properly, and the back part flops backward when you mount it so basically I guess you could say you get a built-in AB workout, albeit unintentional lol! I do hope these issues are addressed soon but in spite of them, this will be my go to place when I return next year, thanks for having me and also for the lemon water which is just a lovely addition to any lobby!

This hotel was the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. The room had crumbs and dirt on the couch and when we pulled the bed out there was a dirty tissue in it and it didn’t even have a mattress cover. Was wrapped in plastic. There was pubic hairs on toilet and in shower corners. There was no linen in room for bed even though we booked a room for 4 people. We went down and had to get the linens and when I went to put the linen on the hideaway bed there was blood all over the comforter. There was previous garbage from last guest left in drawer. We went down to tell them and they didn’t offer to move us rooms or do anything to make it right. They said they would have the manager call us and no one even called us. Gave them 2 stars because at least the pool and hot tub was nice. We tried something else and you get what you pay for. This is a privately owned hotel with the comfort name but definitely not the same and we will never stay or recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hotel room was filthy, old, falling apart. Desperately needs a remodel/update. Checking in took 45 minutes, every person had an issue. Elevator stopped working, people stuck inside. Will not return.

This hotel is the worst I have ever stayed at. Roaches dead in the corner. Old quest trash in the bathroom in the floor under vanity. Microwave filthy like the top inside has never been cleaned since it was put in the room. There was old splattered sticky soda on the wall and on the tv stand by the wall it was on. The pull out coach had mold on the bottom fabric and when I asked to be moved to another room , I was told there was nothing he could do. He handed me some sheets and said that is all he could do. Absolutely the worst! He said I could fill out a comment card.

Dirty, stinky and the front desk employee was kind but just not helpful. The hallways smelled, the rooms smelled all like wet musty like a moldy smell. The pool area had no ventilation or ac. It was hot and stinky in there as well, it had a musty gym smell. The room was dirty, the bathroom was the worst, the beds were uncomfortable and felt humid and smelled.

Our first room wasn’t cleaned and had been used. They put us in another nicer room. Very comfortable. Had all the amenities needed. They seem to be redoing the hotel. My only issues were all the street noise and the amount of light coming in the windows made it difficult to sleep well. The elevator doesn’t work, either.

The hotel was nice and check in with the night time staff was great. The pillows are very soft and the mattress needs to be changed. I was there for 3 days and my back was killing me after this stay. The other people who stayed there said the same. The rooms were clean just needed some TLC. The faceplate around the plug by the bed is hanging out of the wall for example. Breakfast was ok. I got down there the eggs were like grated cheese (not sure why). There was no bacon and the sausage was cold and greasy. The coffee was cold. The orange juice & apple tasted like flavored water so I am assuming they were out as well. The biggest thing is breakfast needed to be restocked and hot. The staff is very nice and the lobby area was very clean.

The staff was great and super friendly but the hotel sits right next to the highway and that is all you hear in your room all night long is the highway noise. You can also hear everything in the hallways and the rooms next to you. The connecting rooms door had a huge gap underneath it that we could see the cleaning crew wheel the vacuum across the floor.

All staff I interacted with was amazing. Front desk made check in and out simple and quick. I dropped cereal at breakfast and was trying to clean it up, the attendant wouldn't allow it. I greatly appreciated that. Hotel rooms were very clean. My room was nice and cold when we got in, which is helpful in Texas. My only down fall was we didn't have all the towels in the room when we got there and no towels in the pool area on the second dy of my visit. Housekeeping did come around the second day of our stay to bring us more towels.

The people working the front were rude and seemed like they could care less about anything. The room wasn’t clean. We had to ask for bedding for the second bed. We tried to call and they wouldn’t answer to front phone so we had to go down to get bedding.

This hotel did not have my hotels.com reservation when I arrived after a long day of work and travel. I had to call hotels.com and they kept me on the phone for an hour + to find me new accommodations after the hotel employee was not receptive to the hotel.com rep's solutions. The lobby AC was out, and the service was way less than friendly. There did not seem to be any willingness to work on finding a solution from the hotel's end. Just a combative attitude with the hotels.com rep about whose fault it was. Meanwhile, I am standing there sweaty, tired, and starving. The Hotels.com rep did a great job getting me a room across town for $0 more, but by 8:30p when I was checking into my new room, I had a headache from hunger. I arrived at the first hotel at 6:30p

The check in was long and the service desk didn’t smile or welcome me. It took 20 minutes as she forgot that I was there as she ran to do something. The room was very comfortable the beds sublime. The Tv was very confusing as there was no channel guide and switching channels took 10 seconds each. And though it is petty the HBO channel was only in Spanish, that was lame. Breakfast was good but the coffee ran out and there were not enough forks.

Room was very clean and well organized. Bed was a little soft but comfortable. When you book/check in try to get room on backside of building!! I20 traffic is constant and noisy. Nice indoor pool and hot tub. Decent breakfast layout and is fresh. Overall would definitely stay here again.

Could use a little TLC in the bathroom it was not the best stained floor from what appears to be paint tub had a porcelain coat that was clean but can tell it’s a cover up of the dated tub with rust. Bed and pillows were comfy and for me that was the main thing. Staff was friendly and hotel conveniently located to shops and food.

We booked this hotel specifically for the pool and it was closed. The free hot breakfast they serve from 6am-9am was out by 7:30 and they didn’t replenish much of it, including the coffee, juice and milk. Also, there was no drinking water available in the entire hotel, not even for purchase, so if you didn’t bring your own you were just out of luck.

Staff was courteous. The toilet tank took forever to fill up and loud. Hot Breakfast no orange juice says been broken for some time. Only one person on staff for serving/preparing hot breakfast. Checking out no staff present at counter. Had to ask if anyone was there. Room clean

Close to Freeway and very clean. At 730am breakfast was put of everything. Yogurt, orange juice, waffle and syrup and fruit. We were 6 family members had 2 rooms. We paid for breakfast but we had leave hungry without breakfast.
