You get what you pay for. For those looking for a discount, this is it. However the photos on the Google page for this Days Inn are false. There is NO pool and probably never has been for a long time. All the machines in the fitness center are not working. And I'm not sure why they call it free breakfast. Honestly it's just a handful of snacks. Plus the water in the showers and faucets need treating. Never again.

The door all around the property we unlocked anyone could come and go. We had mold in our shower and the hotel is old and it shows. It’s okay if your in a pinch but it’s not secured with the doors not needing keys to get in.

Well, we did not have issues with anyone or have anything stolen! However, the area is visually very depressed. The facilities look as if they were once state of the art and well maintained, but our room was in very poor condition. The pool is unusable, and almost everything in our room aside from the newer bed was damaged or worn out.

The staff were wonderful. They were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. The building is in need of repair. There were wires hanging out of the ceiling. The carpet was fraying. The bar was under stocked. The owners apparently have no interest in financially maintaining it.

Rooms are nasty. Roaches everywhere. Trash bins are over filled. They charged me for a microwave I do not damaged which I complained was not working when I arrived. The pool has not been used in years and all the pictures are not up to date

I should have read the reviews before booking. Horribly dirty, blood or feces under the toilet seat, seat was burnt, smoke filled the hallways, drug ridden, pool was closed, gym was a joke, TV reception was bad, overall absolutely nothing good and they charged me full price when i only stayed one night and checked out early.

The place was not what was I’m used to for a Days Inn. Stains on all the furniture. No coffee pot. Furniture in the room could have been purchased from a second hand store in better shape. Tape and bed mud all over the floors. Entrance near the room was swarming with bees from the trash can. Concrete steps were leaning severely and not safe for a disabled person. No vending machine. Ceilings in the hallway looked to have had a major leak and mold on the wall and ceilings

The web site indicated it was a smoke free property. That's what I like. I booked for 3 nights. I arrive and was told the room was a smoking room, not what I wanted. They did give me a non-smoking room. The room came with a refrigerator and no microwave. The shower rod hung down as if it was about to fall off the wall. You had to hang on to the shower curtain so you don't splash wateroutside of the tub and on the floor. The web site stated that there was a restaurant and bar on site. No restaurant, no food. The bar is only open for from 6:00pm to 10:00pm. It was open on Thursday and Saturday evening. Friday morning was barely a continental breakfast. Some packages of muffins, dry cereal with no milk. At least there was coffee. Exterior of the property needs cleaning and bushes trimmed. Right at the end of the stairs from the second floor is where someone allowed there dog to leave it's dropping. I would highly recommend avoiding this particular motel. The price was very cheap and I was locked in with no refund. I expected better from Days Inn. Very disappointed to say the least.

Looked nothing like photos online.I got no sleep due to noisy people in the room next to mine. It literally sounded like someone was being murdered. I slept with my mace. I was even afraid to call the front desk to report them. Breakfast was dry muffins.

This was by far the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed at. If I were a representative of the Wyndham Corporation I would be embarrassed that this property beared my name!! It was absolutely disgusting and definitely had many building code violations. I usually do not leave feedback and especially not this kind but I cannot even begin to explain the magnitude of the nastiness that was the Days Inn in Sherman TX. The carpet was dingy, had a funny smell and was sticky!! The shower had drain holes in the ceiling so when the people took a shower upstairs it drained from the ceiling into our bath tub. We showered at my brothers hoise

The first room we got smelled horribly of smoke, but it was no issues changing to another one and that one was great. Bed was comfortable, the AC worked well and made the room nice and warm. Everything was generally clean even though the carpet could use a deep clean. The water pressure in the shower was crazy, it was like getting into a car wash, rinced the shampoo right out! Our only complaints was that the breakfast was none existent - although we didn't have high expectations - and that the upstairs hallway smelled like an ashtray and weed every time we came and went.

Unfortunately there was black mold in our shower and the water from the sink was leaking into the bedroom. Our room had updated floors which was better than our friends rooms with carpet that were very dirty and stained. The bed and pillows were comfortable.

The room was dirty, there were stains on the duvet cover on the bed, mud in the bathroom, roaches in the room, an eyelash stuck to the wall,the tv remote didn’t work, and very few accessible outlets. Not to mention the hallway to our non smoking room smelled like Snoop Dog and Willie Nelson had been there for weeks. Couldn’t get out of there fast enough!

The pool was closed and appears to have been that way for years. The grounds were unkept like it was abandoned. Room phones did not work. First room A/C malfunctioned. Second room tv did not work. Milk was sour. The price was right, though :)

Beautiful lobby area and the Commons. The rooms are just very old and need to be updated such as the bathroom tiles and counters/sink and new carpet (It happens to be humid and sticky in the room on the day of my visit).

Room was nice and tidy you could tell some work was attempted with the bathroom vanity not being level. You could see the old flower wallpaper where the newer white plaster was missing in some spots. The room had a slight smell similar to old cigarette smoke but not overpowering(had non smoking). TV, phone, shower, faucets water pressure worked. The hallway needs new carpeting there's lines where it's unraveling. The side entrance steps are cracked and buckling. There was also random graffiti and charcoal grill not far from the side entrance. There's no vending machines yets placards saying there are. The breakfast is nothing more than coffee and prepackaged muffins. There was trash in front of some of the rooms the day we checked in and still there the next day. There was some guys remodeling the room across the hall but the noise was minimal and stopped before 5pm. Not the worst place I've ever stayed at but not the best. Overall if you just need a bed it's not bad.

They have locks on the hot water on the shower so you can only take warm showers. The water from the sink was hot...i prefer hot showers especially since i was here to run a trail marathon. They were also doing maintenance upstairs so we were unable to nap during the afternoon due to the noise.

The worse hotel I've stayed at. The bed was very uncomfortable. No toilet paper holder in bathroom. Only one trash can. No Kleenex. Two lights only worked and they were dim. Very few outlets. That'll be my last stay at Days Inn. Breakfast wasn't even a good continental breakfast. No table and chairs to sit at to eat breakfast.

I was disappointed in this facility. The room needed a complete overhaul. Paint peeling headboard peeling. Bathroom yuck. Thefloor tiles were chipped and dirty. The fan was missing its cover felt like someone was watching me. Started to wash my face and was getting the cloth wet. Soap was saturated in it. I didn’t take a shower. Felt too dirty and exposed. The bed mattress felt old. I also didn’t feel safe. I got to hotel late at night. Younger people were out in parking lot hanging out. Doors were opening and shutting all night main doors weren’t locked. Room door didn’t fit the frame I could see out into the hallway through the cracks. Only upside was the receptionist. She was very polite and helpful.

Everything was ok until 11pm when the wing I was on started getting EXTREMELY LOUD, like shouting at the top of their (Spanish speaking) voices LOUD. The property was full of workers who didn’t care about anyone else but themselves. This went on for 30 minutes before I called the front desk (with my cellphone because the room phone didn’t work) and asked them to do something. The night manager came down, obviously nervous to say something to them and told me he would “call police in 5 minutes if they didn’t stop”! Really? 30 minutes later I called police. They were quiet long enough for the police to leave, then just moved to the end of the wing and continued to be loud until around 1:30am. I never did get back to sleep until after 3am. I honestly think they should refund half of my money because I only got half a nights rest.

The night manager came down, obviously nervous to say something to them and told me he would “call police in 5 minutes if they didn’t stop”! Really? 30 minutes later I called police. They were quiet long enough for the police to leave, then just moved to the end of the wing and continued to be loud until around 1:30am. I never did get back to sleep until after 3am. I honestly think they should refund half of my money because I only got half a nights rest.

Then, because I suppose he can’t be bothered to read any of the laws relating to the business he is running, he informed me that I will need to leave because the hotel has a ‘no pets’ policy. I informed him my dog is not a pet but a service animal. When I declined to answer his (illegal) questions or provide documentation (also not legal per ADA), he informed me that I will be checking out in the morning. No worries, have a great time explaining yourself to corporate.

When i arrived on site at 330am from driving all day 980 miles 15 hours the receptionist was out geting food next door while her grandson was watching the place took forever to check in when we arrived at the room and set our bags down wr noticed teash on the floor and the bathroom had hair and dirt everywhere. Unsanitary we cleaned it showered went to sleep paid for a late check out tag in the door was woken at 10 verses 12 worst place ever

The lady at the desk was extremely nice and informative. Not sure about the 30 dollar deposit on the room because i was a road fitter my whole life and had never had to do that before. Hopefully it will be refunded to my ard like they said.

Well, we did not have issues with anyone or have anything stolen! However, the area is visually very depressed. The facilities look as if they were once state of the art and well maintained, but our room was in very poor condition. The pool is unusable, and almost everything in our room aside from the newer bed was damaged or worn out.

Room was nice and tidy you could tell some work was attempted with the bathroom vanity not being level. You could see the old flower wallpaper where the newer white plaster was missing in some spots. The room had a slight smell similar to old cigarette smoke but not overpowering(had non smoking). TV, phone, shower, faucets water pressure worked. The hallway needs new carpeting there's lines where it's unraveling. The side entrance steps are cracked and buckling. There was also random graffiti and charcoal grill not far from the side entrance. There's no vending machines yets placards saying there are. The breakfast is nothing more than coffee and prepackaged muffins. There was trash in front of some of the rooms the day we checked in and still there the next day. There was some guys remodeling the room across the hall but the noise was minimal and stopped before 5pm. Not the worst place I've ever stayed at but not the best. Overall if you just need a bed it's not bad.

Good: the Beds were made. Bad: The Pool was out of order, same with Sauna. The TV in our room, we had to program the Cable channels on it. The TV was literally at least 15 YEARS old, and Nothing was even Basic Cable Quality. Think back to the 1990s. That was the quality of TV service. Then you goto use the toilet, and the seat was loose. Also for a room for 4 people, only having towells for 2 people, then when you call the front desk "Im here solo all night, so youll have to come down to mw and get more towells." This was at 5pm. Seriously, Nobody else works here? Breakfast: 0800- Literally ONE BOWL of cereal left, NO WAFFLE IRONS AT ALL, No juice, No Milk, No fruits, and only a couple pre packaged danishes. Oh, and the 3 people behind the counter commented "We do have some coffee left over if you want." Id asked for juice or milk for a kid.

The pool was closed and appears to have been that way for years. The grounds were unkept like it was abandoned. Room phones did not work. First room A/C malfunctioned. Second room tv did not work. Milk was sour. The price was right, though :)

It was easily the poorest breakfast that I have every seen at a place advertising free breakfast with checkin. I will not go back to this establishment. The bathroom door in my room had 2 holes punched in that had not been repaired (or apparently reported). Notified the desk - they just said maintenance would check it the next day - On a 5 star rating system this place was a 1 or 2

Breakfast sucked. Homeless people kept eating the breakfast before the guests. And only had bread and milk and some coffee… Not real Breakfast. And by the time we went to get breakfast. 6:30am, all the bread and milk was gone and we the employees didn’t have no more. Ridiculous.

The worse hotel I've stayed at. The bed was very uncomfortable. No toilet paper holder in bathroom. Only one trash can. No Kleenex. Two lights only worked and they were dim. Very few outlets. That'll be my last stay at Days Inn. Breakfast wasn't even a good continental breakfast. No table and chairs to sit at to eat breakfast.

The first room we got smelled horribly of smoke, but it was no issues changing to another one and that one was great. Bed was comfortable, the AC worked well and made the room nice and warm. Everything was generally clean even though the carpet could use a deep clean. The water pressure in the shower was crazy, it was like getting into a car wash, rinced the shampoo right out! Our only complaints was that the breakfast was none existent - although we didn't have high expectations - and that the upstairs hallway smelled like an ashtray and weed every time we came and went.

This motel is deceiving going off pictures. The motel is old and dingy, dirty and has an old stench. Breakfast was muffins, cereals, coffee and juice. Nothing nutrient about that. The room has stains on the wall, and just plain old. Bathroom still had hair around the sink. Bed was just ok. Luckily I was only here for one night on business. I will definitely NOT ever stay here again. I picked this place because it was 5 minutes from where I needed to be but I rather drive 10/15 minutes for a better and updated hotel than this motel. You definitely get what you pay for and it was still too much for this place.

Room we were given had not been cleaned, given another room and bed was dirty, went to another room and bed was worse. We had to get clean sheets and make the bed ourselves. Staff we dealt with were very good but the cleaners are only remaking beds as there was hair and dirt in the sheets and didn't look like things were wiped down.
