Sherman Inn

i paid online b4 getting there. they were locked up and closed. Called an emergency number had to govto hotel down the street they owned that i didnt want to go to. took 4 ever for them to check me in. t h e key for door was messed up. No lamps,phone,microwave,plug not next to bed, HEATER not working,tv messed up,roach went running. across bathroom counter,cig burbs everywhere,hole in stained mattress. are you kidding me? i will never use it again unless someone makes it right. justa heads up the place yall booked me's lobby closes at 11 pm. so i had to go b to another hotel they owned down the street that was scummy and scary. there were other nice hotels thru other companies for just a few dollars more and were at least 3 or 4 star hotels. Very unimpressed.

four police cars in the parking lot when we first checked in. the Rooms are very outdated and need alot of updates but it was overall very clean They do a good job of keeping it clean Do not stay here if you feel you are fancy.

I did military contracts in Afghan, Syria and Iraq. I dont expect much as a contractor in the US. Price and close to work site is what i look for. This place is really bad. Its nasty. Seen 2 live roaches and one dead one. One went across my laptop keyboard. Front desk staff are as bad as room. Cleaning ladies were super nice. Lot of sus people staying here with cops patrolling the parking lot often. The tv channels are straight garbage. Only about a quarter come through. As a man that bounced around from tent to tent from tent in Afghan, dont stay here. I travel every week for work for past 2 yrs here back at home. This is my 2nd review. First one got taken down. Avoid at all cost.

It's ok a bed and TV with a shower....Bring your own everything if you plan to stay longer than 2 days

Did not like anything about my stay. Was not informed about the office closing at 10 PM and would have to travel down the street to another hotel for key. Walked into room and found roaches on floors and walls. Very dirty and unhealthy stay. Room had not been cleaned. Used soap bars left in tub. The worst stay EVER!!! Will be requesting my money back.

I read reviews first so, I wasn’t expecting a good clean room but, the price was good through hotels.com. I bought a 3 pack of Mr Clean magic erasers before the stay. I checked the beds for bugs before bringing in my bags (none thank goodness). I then brought the magic erasers to the bathroom to get dead skin cells out of the tub because, we live in a rv without a bathtub and just wanted a nice hot bath however, there wasn’t a tub drain stopper so, a wash rag was my best option… there were pubic hairs and head hairs still in the tub. I also noticed spots around the toilet seat rim so, one magic eraser was used to clean the crap off the toilet (literally crap). The toilet seat was loose on one side so, when I flipped up the screw cover to tighten the plastic bolt to the toilet and, under the cover was pubic hair. Last but not least, a baby cockroach was crawling up the bathroom wall and smashed on sight of it. I was happy there was a refrigerator and microwave however the microwave was unplugged from the outlet behind the entertainment center so, I had to move the heavy table out of the way to plug it back in. Coffee is in the lobby and isn’t ready until 7am so, at 4am I was driving around Sherman to find a gas station that had coffee. Would I stay here again? Yes but again, I would bring my own cleaning supplies to do what the housekeepers should have already done.

An extreme case of Bed Bug Bites all over our bodies. Also, epic number of cockroaches.

Hated everything about the property and the room. It was dirty, stinky, unsafe, and basically a flop house. We declined to occupy the room, told the manager we were not checking in their property. This was supposed to be a non-refundable stay, but because the property was vastly below the standards of any property we have stayed at before when booked by Expedia, we expect Expedia to make a full refund of the 1-night stay to our credit card.

Dirty bathroom, leaky shower head and faucet, wifi password issues, TV issues, and ORANGE walls? Other than these little problems it was a great stay!

Upon arrival someone had just smoked marijuana in the office, when we got to the room, it was filthy. If we could’ve got our money back, we would’ve left the only good thing I can say about this place was it seemed like the sheets were clean. My family wouldn’t even shower there.

The door was broken and infested with cockroaches.

It was alright, there was some roaches in the room, a of the floor was lifted up and I hit my toe on it. The door also didnt close right so didn't really feel safe.

Location was good. Property run down. No chairs in room.

The remodel has gone fantastic! Very clean and well maintained and the staff are very friendly

I thought I’d just save a few bucks on a room. There was a bad odor in the room. The room really needed lots of repair. I didn’t feel my car was safe out in front of the room. I went to the office and turned in my key and headed straight to La Quinta…..

Very basic. Needs updating. Price was only $50 so for a one night stay in transit it worked for us. Friendly check in,

Cheapest place around and it showed. Disrepair is putting it in a good way. Oh and the television brings in over the air, no cable. Bed was comfortable though. Great for single dude, not where i'd take a date.

Door looked kicked in. Holes in wall. Burn marks large gap under door. Did not even stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room was orange and needed to be updated and we saw two German roaches in the morning. The wall outlet by the TV desk pushed back into the wall when I tried to plug my phone in to charge it. TV was not set up for channels. I called the front desk,reported it,said they would fix it and they didn't. I do not recommend this place and will not stop there ever,unless significant changes are made.

We went to check in and there actually wasn’t a vacancy. The lobby was not welcoming or neat. The receptionist could have been more helpful.

I had a great stay any concerns that I had the manager took care of it quickly. I would definitely stay here again.

When we arrived there was a woman at the counter complaining about having a roach crowl across her face as she slept. Unfortunately not everyone is honest wanting something for free. So we tentatively looked at the room. It was Indeed very dirty. The staff was also less than to be desired. I made the reservation for 2 beds. I was given a single king. The lady had no idea it was not double beds. She had to look it up in the system. She claimed to have given us a refund. Only after never receiving it l reached out to Expedia. They were never informed that we were to be refunded. A case is currently open to look into this matter. Recap: 1) filthy rooms 2) possible infestation of roaches 3) poor service 4) uneducated staff 5) was ripped off I would not recommend this place.

Visiting the Inn earlier in the afternoon, I was allowed to look at the room by the friendly "manager" (name started with a D). It was seedy and unkempt. I was also a bit anxious about the loitering folks in the parking lot. I decided it would do for one night. Later, after attending a good old fashioned wake, I felt it was unsafe for me to drive in the dark to an unfamiliar area so I called and told the office person that I would not be using the room that night.

The motel is right in the middle of town so even if you dont have a way around its easy to walk if you want.
