Upon arriving I couldn't find the front entrance to check in. Once I finally found it, the front entrance is NOTHING like the pictures. Pretty sure they stole those or used AI to generate those. 2nd thing, the Motel 6 and Lonestar Inn are the SAME motel, and they charge 2 different pricing. Overheard the man on the phone tell someone he doesn't have a room for the Lonestar, but he had one for the Motel 6. Got checked in after 15+ minutes only to get to my room that was a complete and utter disgusting room. Smell of mildew and raw sewage. I immediately went back to the front office and handed over my key card and checked back out. There was NO way those room are livable even for a night. The man told me upon leaving, "You get no refund", completely rude and disrespectful. I didn't stay a single minute in this roach and bed bug infested place

The first room we checked into was under construction, the desk receptionist had no idea. The second room had mouse poop all over the counters, cockroaches near the door & the toilet was busted. Not only that, the area alone felt tense and there were an uncomfortable amount of people lurking the parking lot at late hours (12:30-1AM)

Was scared of activity in parking lot , place was so dirty that i cleaned the entire room with bleach before entering room woth belongings. The computer was supposedly down so they wrote my card number exp date and secure code on a note book . Had to call bank cancel card and waiting for new one to arrive. Picture's don't show limited number of new rooms. Or that coffee bar doesn't exist. Positive thing . As bad as it was i didn't see any pest. I guess there is really no inexpensive places to stay anymore

The room stunk like nobody had cleaned it in years , mold in the bathroom, sheets and bed blanket were dirty and had holes in them . Some of the electricity plugs were not working the ones next to the window .. window curtains did not shut properly, One towel was left in the bathroom for me to use but it had mold spots

There was nothing to like about this property it was very dirty nothing worked. The hot water nob was broke. We rented 3 rooms 1didnt have hot water, the other room electricity didn't work right toilets dont flush i could go on please stay away not worth the money if i could have gotten my money back we would of stayed somewhere else. Place needs the health inspectors yes there was roaches o and molding food in microwave

Towels were dirty and black not clean. The bed sheets were old and dirty hand had wholes in them from cigarette burns and stained. There were live roaches. The room looked like it had water damage that was just painted over. The person that was above us was so loud my husband had to go upstairs and ask him to keep it down at 2am. He was playing with his dog. We thought he was maintenance working in the room. Never saw the pet. Room smelled and the door had a gap in it to where you could see across the parking lot.

The property is in complete disrepair. Walls, doors and furnishings are filthy and falling apart. The mattress covers have mold stains, cigarette holes and yellowing spots that indicate they are very old and unwashed. The tv and remote did not work correctly or well. Internet was poor and unsecured. The bedding and pillows show the same quality. Housekeeping staff is very sketchy. They just threw cleaner on the floor and sweep it around not bothering to pre sweep or rinse it. Emptied trash but didn’t wipe down sink, tub or toilet. Constantly knocked on the door and were insisting on entering which made us very nervous. Front staff was a bit more polite.

Entrance door would not close at bottom. Poorly installed. Heater would not reach above 69 degree making it cold in room. No cords on phone could not call front desk for assistance. Not enough towels. No maid service for day two. Will not return to this motel again. My rating very Poor.

Cheap but you want to get the rooms attached to office building or right behind the main building bc the rooms are much much nicer. Each building has a different owner and the building to the side with front and back rooms , up and down stairs are the worst most have roaches and others have to many companies issues , as well as bad odor

I will say the afternoon desk man was lovely and very helpful. The place is filthy. Run down, full of broken and mismatched items. The toilet wobbled. There was literally feces on both the toilet and floor. The morning desk help ASKED FOR DOCS ON MY SERVICE ANIMAL - and was really indignant when I told her this was illegal. Management is clearly misrepresented because they have their employees under the impression that this is acceptable but it is absolutely against the federal guidelines established in the ADA. No, obviously I don’t recommend staying here.

When checking in, the staff sent me TWICE to rooms that had people already. Very uncomfortable to open a hotel door and have to explain to someone NAKED why you open their door. Mold everywhere Even though I requested non smoking room, my room had a terrible smell of cigarettes and marijuana. The room was super dirty, guests next doors blasting music all night long. Given that I was given the key to two rooms with people in them, it goes without saying this hotel is extremely UNSAFE and should not be listed in this website.

My son and I were traveling late at night after visiting with family. We had never stayed in Sherman before but needed to stop and sleep. The location of Lone Star Inn was perfect for us because we didn't have to travel far the next day. The staff was very friendly and for the price the room was just fine.
My son and I were traveling late at night after visiting with family. We had never stayed in Sherman before but needed to stop and sleep. The location of Lone Star Inn was perfect for us because we didn't have to travel far the next day. The staff was very friendly and for the price the room was just fine.

Great place, priced well. Had a small hiccup with a handle in the shower/they quickly moved me to another room with no issues while maintenance did their thing. Thank you!

Upon arriving I couldn't find the front entrance to check in. Once I finally found it, the front entrance is NOTHING like the pictures. Pretty sure they stole those or used AI to generate those. 2nd thing, the Motel 6 and Lonestar Inn are the SAME motel, and they charge 2 different pricing. Overheard the man on the phone tell someone he doesn't have a room for the Lonestar, but he had one for the Motel 6. Got checked in after 15+ minutes only to get to my room that was a complete and utter disgusting room. Smell of mildew and raw sewage. I immediately went back to the front office and handed over my key card and checked back out. There was NO way those room are livable even for a night. The man told me upon leaving, "You get no refund", completely rude and disrespectful. I didn't stay a single minute in this roach and bed bug infested place

The first room we checked into was under construction, the desk receptionist had no idea. The second room had mouse poop all over the counters, cockroaches near the door & the toilet was busted. Not only that, the area alone felt tense and there were an uncomfortable amount of people lurking the parking lot at late hours (12:30-1AM)

Dirty and disgusting! Thank god I was planning on camping and had a air mattress and bedding with me! Needed a place to shower and get ready for a event! Loud music was playing all night! Don’t stay here!

Was scared of activity in parking lot , place was so dirty that i cleaned the entire room with bleach before entering room woth belongings. The computer was supposedly down so they wrote my card number exp date and secure code on a note book . Had to call bank cancel card and waiting for new one to arrive. Picture's don't show limited number of new rooms. Or that coffee bar doesn't exist. Positive thing . As bad as it was i didn't see any pest. I guess there is really no inexpensive places to stay anymore

The staff was great. The room was clean. But the room could have used somethings. Like a coffee maker, shampoo and conditioner, and other stuff that you would expect in a hotel room. But other than that it was a great stay.
