Sheets on the bed were dirty and stained, don't pay for the breakfast option they only offered coffee and a granola bar you're better off getting something from a near by restaurant. Pool was old and did not look like it had been cleaned or serviced in a while.

The phone in the room was not working front desk was inform. There excuse was that they were working in the area.also the ice machine on the 3rd floor was not working. And the laundry room on the 2nd floor At 4:pm was closed.which it's supposed be open until 7:pm front desk says they will contact me when they open the laundry room.i never got a response.

Arrived around 1:30 for a last minute trip. Was told no early check in, no place to put luggage and not allowed to use the pool to await room, despite the temperature b we ing nearly 100 degrees. Staff was rude at every turn and when I tried to cancel the stay that was reserved online, I was told I'd be charged the full night stay, despite having booked the room only 20 minutes prior. I was finally allowed to use the pool after several, pointed requests, but was told I'd I got hurt, it was my problem, alone. My only fear , after seeing the cloudy, dirty, water, was the oil slick from suntan lotion, out some other sort of oil leaking into the water. The elevators stunk, everything seemed rusty and old. The shower was just cold at best, and the faucet handle seemed likely to fall off the wall at any moment. I could barely get washed from uncontrollable shivering. When I finally tried to sleep in the musty room, I found the air unit vents were inoperable and the result was cool air blowing directly on me and not redirectable.... And because it shares space with an Indian restaurant, the smell of Curry was overwhelming at times...No wonder Howard Johnson bailed on this property. It, along with the operator needs to be out of business. What a disaster!

Although this very economic and front desk staff was fast and nice i would of loved a refund because sheets were dirty, the bathroom was dirty, shower had hair, it smelled like smoke, there was a baby crying all night next door, the outdoors looked abandoned, Its like yall bought an abandoned building put a new name over the actual name and started getting money for the rooms, I wasn’t happy but it was late and i had already paid. a

When we walked into the room #107 it was dated, poorly painted furniture, broken bathroom fixtures, pee on the floor of the bathroom. Uncleaned bed sheets, rust and mold on every corner. I asked the front desk for a refund but refused.

It was a very unsanitary environment. The outside smelled of sewer, was littered with trash, the bathroom shower head did not work properly and there were gnats coming out of the sink. There was no Manager onsite to handle any concerns and I was refused my money back for the 2 day stay and had to book another room for the second day somewhere else because of the very poor conditions. I would like my money refunded back to me for the two days that were booked there.

This hotel is close enough to the casinos and it was nice that it had a pool. It was relatively clean. We stayed in a smoking room but the windows don’t open. It would be nice if they could fix that. The bathroom door didn’t close properly but it was fine.

I will start by saying that I'm a nonsmoker in a smoker room, so I am a little biased. The other rooms were already reserved. Air was musty and had a lingering smell, and the windows weren't very clean. Part of the drapes were broken down, the floor had a couple of holes in the wood, one of the chairs was stained, and the tub had trouble keeping the water in; the plug didn't exactly do what it was supposed to very well. I personally would've liked it better if the doors to close off the tub weren't M.I.A., so I could steam things up a little more. Tile is also slippery when you're getting out - The place should have nonslip mats around the steps into the rooms' Jacuzzis. Microwave is oldschool, too. Despite everything, it's not bad for the price. It's just a budget-friendly place to stay if you aim to hit Atlantic City or any of the surrounding areas. The Indian restaurant attached is good for a lunch spot, too, despite the dismal-looking parking lot around it.

The only problem that I had was part of the bottom bed was sticking out and of course I hit my Ankle several times to the point that I was limping the next day. Breakfast should have a little more than breakfast bars. Chair and sheets were stained not only in my room, but also in the rooms with others who booked rooms. I would stay again. I always bring my own covers and pillow cases.

Service is awful… they do not provide housekeeping or take away the garbage they tell you to go dump your garbage in the dumpster all the way in the back where God knows what’s in the actual dumpster yesterday when I came back, there was a black vulture sitting near the dumpster. The manager at the desk has an attitude. The rooms are clean and pretty much updated. My refrigerator did not work and when I asked for a new one, I was asked a question. Why do I need a refrigerator when I asked why there was no housekeeping I was told this hotel does not provide housekeeping. The manager also asked me why do I need a clean room , this is totally unacceptable. I had a group of six other rooms reserved for a camera club meet up and needless to say it did not make me look very good. I picked a place like this hotel the “taj-‘ma-hell” . Also, the ice machine did not work and if it did, there is no way in hell I would ever take ice from it. It is gross and full of mold. I think Hotels.com should remove this from its list of properties. And also, when I finally said that I needed a refrigerator because I need my medication kept cold. The guy finally said OK he made the female housekeeperxarry cary it! I will never in my life ever ever come back here again

No housekeeping for the four nights I stayed there. Breakfast was granola bars and a juice bar that sometimes had juice, sometimes didn’t. Plus coffee, which I did not try. People next door fighting, one person knocking on my door at night. Did not answer. Staff had no friendly smiles. Almost every time I left, I needed the front desk to re-activate my key card. Aside from cameras faced at the pool area, I did not see them actually facing towards the outdoor corridors towards the rooms. Rooms were cleanly, but still wanted my room cleaned as advertised. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Whoever checked us in was so rude and had a nasty attitude . We were checking in for 2 bedrooms and this dude checked us into the first and then we told him about having another room and he got an attitude about why we didn’t say anything about having two rooms ( first I said when I walked in was “we are checking in for 2 bedrooms” ) he then proceed to check us in and asked again for the credit card and ID and started complaining about my card not having visible numbers ( keep in mind that he charged us the first room with the same card and had no issues ) As he gave us the keys we said thank you and he got aggressive staying we can’t leave when we were only saying thank you for only handing us the keys. Nasty attitude and nasty customer service… never coming back

It’s okay for one night. Needs update outside and inside. Unsafe, due to foundation. The room we had, was clean but it’s outdated. Needs improvement(top to bottom). Better towels and bedding needed. Don’t think I’ll stay here again. I do like, it’s not far from Ocean City and Cape May. Near by Denny’s, the breakfast we had is really good.

Location is great. Lots of stores and restaurants close to get whatever you may need. It is a cheap hotel so you are getting what you pay for. It isn't fancy and it isn't the cleanest. But it is affordable and clean enough. Water pressure could be a bit better. Bed was actually pretty comfortable. I've also stayed in the summer when the pool is open, and that is OK as well.

The property itself is not lovely, but it's adequate and the staff keeps it clean enough. The restaurant is GREAT if you like Indian food, and I do! A major quality of life issue for me is access to plenty of hot coffee in the morning and you're NOT going to get that here. In your room, you get a little coffee pot with one bag of regular coffee (and one decaf, plus some black tea bags) and NO filters to brew the coffee, NO creamers to lighten the coffee (a moot point, since you get no coffee filters) They have some limited coffee available in the lobby -- I was able to get one small cup of coffee on Saturday morning, but the coffee was all gone Sunday morning at 8:15 am. If you want creature comforts, bring them yourself.

Check-in was fast and friendly. We stayed 2 nights and the room was not made up after the first night. The bathtub faucet was loose and it was not easy to set it on comfortably warm water, but it was possible. Breakfast is just coffee, tea, and mini-granola bars.

Walls are really thin and the floors are not carpeted so you will hear your upstairs and next door neighbors. Laundry room was out of order. There's no breakfast as advertised. The beds are comfy but there's only sheets and a thin blanket, no comforter.

Not too far from AC so that was cool. The property was nice my room was clean. I would suggest housekeeping to check the rooms daily or every other day for fresh towels/linens. ( I had to ask) There is no breakfast so you have to get your own there is a spot in walking distance. Would I stay again possibly but I cannot say 100% yes and it was not anything to do with the staff or the spot. It’s what I like to do and I would want to be a little closer.
