The entire grounds of the hotel were full of trash. All the trash cans were full. There was trash lying around them. When I got to my room, it smelled like cat urine everywhere. There was liquid all over the floors and rusted bathroom fixtures. The walls were filthy stained. The bed sheets were not very tidy. The room was entirely unacceptable, prompting me to leave and secure alternative accommodation due to its condition. I would strongly advise against anyone staying there. It was extremely unpleasant, with an overwhelming odor of cat urine and a pervasive sense of unsafety.

The staff here is wonderful! Crystal and Jennifer in the lobby are very sweet and went out of their way to be helpful. Estela, the housekeeping supervisor, also provides excellent service. I’ll absolutely return on my next trip to San Ysidro, CA.

Stayed 1 night

The first room smelled like someone smoked drugs in there and the second room had what looked like dried blood in the basin and yellow stains which looked like urine all over the wall. I didn’t go into the bathroom when I went into the second room until after I returned from eating dinner. When I walked in I was appalled and disgusted by what I found. I immediately grabbed my things and went to the front desk. I decided that I could no longer stay at this property and when I informed the lady at the rest of the situation she offered up nothing by way of an apology and said “I wish you would have told me sooner so I could put you in another room!” When I informed her it was my second room she replied “oh, well I guess you have to talk to the manager because I can’t give you your money back!” I was so pissed they I just left due to her flippant behavior.. I want all of my money back! That place is horrible!!!
