Quality Inn Coraopolis - Pittsburgh Airport

This is a very nice and reasonable place to stay near the airport, the staff is very accommodating, but there is no elevator so be aware of that, on check in also it might be better to use the top floors, the floorboards are a noisy and you can hear them on them ground floors when someone is walking above.

I was so happy that there was airport shuttle and I was able to leave my car here while I was gone.

We stayed for 4 nights and I will say that we were kinda disappointed upon arrival only because when we entered the lobby, everything was totally "outdated" as far as decor and furniture (so don't be deceived by the photos). The facility had a very unique aroma (likely incense burning) but it was tidy and clean. However, there are NO ELEVATORS and our room was on the 2nd level. Typically this would not be an issue but you're getting this review from someone that was dealing with carpal tunnel during this trip so, hauling luggage up two flights of stairs was excruciating. Nevertheless, when we got into our room, we were pleasantly surprised because the room was nice and very clean. Newly renovated and fully stocked with everything expected. It was giving "safe, cozy and private" and we really liked that. The bed was very comfortable and we really liked the fact that we could look right out of our window and have a direct view our vehicle. Oh, I always give credit where it's due... with that being said, leaving out one morning in a hurry, I decided to grab some lobby coffee and I must say, that was the BEST cup of coffee I'd had in a long time. I was like... What's in this Coffee? Which is a great compliment coming from a "coffee drinker". Overall, not only were we NOT disappointed, but we were actually very pleased with our stay. Moral of this story - NEVER judge a book by it's cover. This has become one of our "GO TO spots" whenever we visit Pittsburgh PA.

This hotel has 2 floors and NO elevators. If I had known this information I would have never stayed there. No offer to help us carry up our bags, we are in our seventies. The towels were thin and dingy. This hotel did not meet up to the Quality Inn standards that I'm use to.

Lobby left a lot to be desired. Hotel is definitely not handicapped accessible. Lobby doors don’t open automatically and you have to climb a set of steps (no elevator), even when your room is on the first floor. Stayed here, in part, because of the free breakfast, but it wasn’t really worth eating. But the bed was comfortable and there were lots of pillows. I had a good night’s sleep which is really all that matters.

The staff were helpful on check-in and check-out was a breeze. The hotel is not the newest but it was clean and it seems the owners care about the hotel. The airport shuttle was $7 a person (plus tax) to go to the airport. We would stay again. Be mindful that the address is 1170 Thorn Run Road Extension and NOT 1170 Thorn Run Road.

Great place to stay the night before flying from the airport. Though you do have to pay for the shuttle, it is a good service. They also have a park and fly service if you need to leave your car for your trip. Would definitely stay again.

No elevator to second floor.

Hotel is fine. We have stayed here several times before a flight. This most recent time, however; was the first time we needed to use the shuttle to the airport. The hotel charges $14.98 for two people to take the shuttle. We needed 4:00 am ride. After waiting 50 minutes with hotel clerk making several calls to shuttle company asking where driver was and being told driver “was on his way” she was finally being told driver wasn’t coming at all. We ultimately needed to book a $28 Uber to airport. Would not recommend this hotel if you are in need of the shuttle service.

This Quality Inn lacks in Quality. Bathroom filthy, dust bunnies hanging from the ceiling, bathroom bathtub filthy. Will not be coming here again. Worth spending the extra $20 for a clean hotel room. Run from here.

I was expecting a decent room since it had 4 stars on google. The toilet and shower had hairs all over. There was a hair on the desk that look like pube hair. No smoke sensor in the room.

Pretty dirty room. Hair, large spots, and grime in the room that felt like it should not have been there if it had been cleaned properly. Sheets covered in long strands of hair when the sheets were pulled back, just didn’t feel like it had been cleaned well. Our sink didn’t drain properly and it took quite a while to do so, lights flickering for 30 seconds until they actually came on and we had to shove our door closed and lock it, otherwise it didn’t really look like it even closed properly.

The bathroom was dirty and had hairs from prior guests in the tub and around on the floor. The sheets had hair on them as well. The room is so dated and smells old. There was a tissue box with one tissue in it. I asked for another and the attendant said he could move our move, after my stuff was already settled in. He could have went to another room for a box but instead did not get up and said one would be available in the morning. He was on his personal phone and rude.

Stains on the comforter, someone's trash under the bathroom sink on the floor, filthy around the base of the toilet, snack machine was half full, breakfast items either low or totally empty, breakfast area trash was spilling over on our 2nd day like it wasn't even emptied. Just a crappy hotel. Period.

The Shower had mold on the lower tiles. Once when I was showering the water went ice cold and didn’t come back on for 10 minutes. The management responded right away and also fixed my remote since it was broken and not working either. The beds looked like they had never been cleaned under and there was dirt and trash under them. They didn’t clean my room the first day and I had to get my own towels. After the shower issue they offered to move me but I had my elderly mom with dementia with me so I just stayed in the room we were assigned

Conveniently located and the room was very clean. Clean sheets, lots of pillows, hot water. Quiet area with most amenities within a mile or two.

It’s adequate if you need a place to stay in a pinch, but the whole place is pretty rough around the edges and not especially comfortable.

The room was very nice for the price. My only complaint was the noise. We could hear the tv in the room besides us all night.

There was a mustiness that caused my allergies to get bad. Probably mold in the ac.

The room doors constantly slam all night, so sleep isn’t an option. The staff is rude, cleaning ladies don’t actually clean the rooms.

We could hear people in room next to us in the early morning hours 1 am to 3:30 loud talking and tv. Made it difficult to sleep

The room was warm and musty. The tub was cracked. There was an odor. I’ve stayed here many times and this was not the room I’ve become accustomed to. Check in took over 20 minutes because the front desk was not at his position for over 10 minutes.

Needs some updating but wasnt terrible. Didnt see an elevator so we had to take luggage up steps to 2nd floor. Wasnt bad for a ine night stay.

Lobby staff was so unprofessional and rude I have never been so mad and I travel a lot. I booked my room through Expedia and there was an error on my reservation and instead of telling me that something happened with Expedia’s end he just went ahead and wanted me to insert my credit card and charge my card. I questioned the transaction and he said expedias payment to them was declined and said you need to call Expedia with an attitude and walked away from the counter. I call Expedia and the hotel guy was standing in a doorway to the lobby playing on his phone and when he sees me he rudely shuts the door on me so I can’t see him. We got the Expedia issue figured out and I get my room key and walk into my room and immediately noticed that the bathroom sink is completely clogged up and there is a huge water damage on the bathroom ceiling that was there for quite some time and it had a bunch of BLACK MOLD. I go back to the front desk and tell the worker about the mold and sink and he grills me if I had messed up the room and if I sat on the bed. I was in the room for 30 sec I told him to come look at it but he wouldn’t so I said do you want me to take pictures then and I showed him pictures. He then gave me another room but when I get to the new room the floor in the room was so rotted and spongy, wavy, and dirty. There was paint peeling on the bathroom wall and on the ceiling. They refused to refund my stay because it was nonrefundable.

Upon check in the staff member ignored my greeting at the desk spoke in 1 word sentences and then gave me a key to a room with a man sleeping in it!

The morning desk person was very rude. I came for breakfast about 8;45 AM. The bagels were gone. I told him and got a blank stare but he did saunter off to get some. Then the coffee ran out. I told him and he said “ no it isn’t “. I proceeded to show him that both containers were empty. Again, he says nothing and walks off and comes back with coffee to brew. Lastly, I came back for some coffee and there were no cups. Same lack of verbal response and comes back we’re cups. He did slam the office door, however. Night staff when I checked in were great!

When I arrived for check in no one was at the counter. I waited over 30 minutes before someone showed up. There were multiple families waiting. I’ve never experienced anything like it. It smelled horrible nothing but weed that’s all you could smell. I didn’t even check in we left and went somewhere else. Couldn’t even get my money back?? I’ve tried!!

Easy stay to get to the airport. Overall fine. A bit of an odd layout.

The room was very clean. Great place to stay for a night or two. This hotel is near airport so if you are a light sleeper I wouldn't recommend, you can hear the planes come in and out. Other than that, good place.

Solid stay for trip to Pittsburgh. Its a good 15-20 minutes from north/shore or downtown area, so be prepared to drive or pay a higher uber cost than normal, but very solid property, solid value.

This hotel is conveniently located to the airport, restaurants and shopping centers. The room is very clean, plank flooring, comfortable beds and plenty of clean towels. The flat screen is a good size and the air conditioner works like a champ. Thank you!

Hit our price point for a busy weekend. Breakfast was adequate but not stellar- no fresh fruit or eggs or meat

I waited at the check-in counter about 10 minutes before someone came to the desk. Could not get any hot water from the bathroom sink at night. Only got warm water from the shower in the morning, but ironically the sink water was hot in the morning. The breakfast was extremely limited: a waffle maker, bowl of apples, coffee, tea, cereal, and a few mini muffins. I got to breakfast with 30 minutes left in the breakfast window, so maybe there was more earlier.

I didn't know that the shuttle to pick me up at the airport was a shared ride, so I wasted an hour at the airport. It's a shuttle bus called glove shuttle. The room is simple and clean. The part-time women and men at the reception were pleasant. The shuttle to the airport was also 30 minutes late, but the staff took the trouble to find out that it was late. It's a hospitality inn. Breakfast was a simple waffle, juice and yogurt.
