Hotel is really a motel-like venue. Advertised free continental breakfast online, but when arrived- notice is posted on front door office that none is offered. Also, no access to a printer when asked to print 1pg. Bathroom/shower is a bit sketchy. would prefer to book another venue next time.

The staff are very hospitable. They have a washer and dryer on site for the customers to use. It's very quiet and clean. Within walking distance of the shopping center and transportation.

Nothing unique. The room was smelly and smells like mould. I had to keep the doors fully opened upto 3 hours for fresh air. Low quality rooms . The AC kept On and off and had nasty bathroom smell. They had the tiniest soap for shower. Room lighting was the worst.

Their was a dead cockroach in the corner of the room. The bathroom ceiling was molding and their was something gross on the bathroom walls. Overall if the rooms were properly cleaned and cared for it would have been an ok stay.

The manager was very friendly and the room was clean.

Roaches and bed bugs absolute disgrace

Was nasty had bugs didn’t get to enjoy the hot tub the shower the water didn’t go down the toilet over fulled

My hotel room was extremely filthy the door chain was broken the tub was extremely dirty with stains all in the ceiling of the bathroom it was just a mess I would never stay here again

Staff very caring! Tile floor needs proper cleaning, corner and top of baseboards are dirty, (black sooth) Carpet needs to be steam cleaned. Good value for the $.

It was fine. Not a five star hotel, but it's was good for the price we paid. We loved the family size room. It was the only hotel stay we have ever had where our family of 6 could all sleep in a bed, instead of having 2 having to sleep on a sofa bed. It was a huge room too.

I like the Empire, The beds were comfortable, and the Lady at the desk was Courteous and Friendly. I would recommend this property. The only complaint I have would be PLEASE INSTALL OR HAVE ACCESS TO WALL OUTLETS. we have cellphones ya know.

Nice place, very convenient and close to Atlantic City action. Little musty odor in the room, but .. almost all the motels near the ocean have it.. so I don't blame them much.

The hotel could use a renovation. There were some shady people staying there as well. The room itself felt rundown. I honestly didn’t feel ok walking on the carpet barefoot. The tub was pretty stained as well. The room smelled a bit strange. The lady at the counter was nice though.

Sign out front said Continental breakfast but we were told that was an old sign. Bathroom fixtures were broken. Only positive was that the bed was actually very comfortable.

Room was large, king size bed, non-smoking, friendly staff. Was A+

It's alright for a quick stay the night but a lot of things were not being upkeep and found some trash and dirt on floor. Shower curtain was broken and hardly any toilet paper as well as the toilet paper holder was broken. Bed was average but not the best. Furniture is cluttered in the room no organization and no matching furnishings. Just average maybe below average.

Very rude customer service and unprofessional. Room had bad odor. Didn't receive my $40 "refundable" deposit.

Was there for an overnight stay. The toilet was choked. I reported to the office and they wanted me to take a plunger and resolve the issue my self. Utter disgusting. I asked for a different room for using the toilet and they said they don’t have any. I insisted hard and got an access to another vacant room for using the toilet.

I checked in on Thurs night and was greeted by a super nice lady who was very thorough and helpful with all my questions and request. I informed her that it was very possible that I would probably be checking out early on Sunday. She ask me what time, and of course I didn't know the answer. Fast forward to Sunday morning I checked out at 5am and apologized for the inconvenience for waking her up, and she said no need to apologize, it's ok. Now how could anyone ever think this lady is rude? I say this because she has always been so nice to me, hence the reason why I always stay here when I come to AC in January. I book a room with a king size bed and the room was quite big. Yeah there was blemishes in the room, but who can honestly say their home is spotless and has flaws.....That's right no of you so just stop thinking this place is a dive or a dump. If you want perfection, spend way more money for a smaller room and pay for wifi because most places in the city will charge for that luxury. I visit AC every January because I photograph the Indoor Racing Series Event at Boardwalk Hall and Empire Inn & Suite is always the place I choose to stay at because its outside of the craziness of the City, there are plenty of places to eat close by and I never have any issues with my room or those who run it. Who knows, maybe another trip to AC will happen this year and if so, I know where I will be staying and that is Empire Inn & Suites!!
