Northfield Inn is a very nice hotel and conference center with plenty of parking. The entire place is very clean with very nice staff. I have stayed in this hotel many time, both with my family and for business.

Our stay was great. Our room was recently renovated and everything seemed brand new. The entire building was very clean. It was quiet at night. The included breakfast was fresh, hot and a lot of choices. The pool area and pool was very clean. The staff was polite and friendly.

We enjoyed our stay! The room was large and pretty clean. The free breakfast was great! The hotel is fairly close to the downtown Springfield attractions (~10-15 minutes). Our only complaint was that the indoor pool is FREEZING! We didn't last more than 30 minutes in the pool because our kids' lips were blue and teeth were chattering. Overall, we would stay here again!

A great stay for the price. Rooms are clean, staff is friendly. Certainly not a destination type of hotel but if you're on the road, it's perfect. The only downside during my stay in late 2023 was construction which misplaced a couple of things and closed the pool. Otherwise, just about the best budget pick I've ever had.

The stuff was friendly and easy to deal with. Parking was easy and plentiful. This is one of the quietest hotels we've stayed in for a long time. Lots of food and things to do very close in walking distance.

The entire room smelled. There was a humidifier running when we walked in so I assume there had been a leak or maybe they steam vacuumed the carpets. But the smell was the worst. It irritated my asthma. Overall I the rooms were just not clean. Dates is ok if it’s clean. And I’m sure I could have asked for another room but I was alone with my daughter and it was hard enough to unload everything by myself and get it into the room we we just dealt with it.

Dirty! Smelled like cigs in the lobby. Sheets had dirt, found a zyn pouch under my bed. Sheets and towels were smelly and disgusting. It was fine for 1 night but wouldn’t choose to come back unless needed. Great facility just needs to be cleaner

When we entered our room, it smelled of cigarette smoke, which they tried to mask with some kind of horrible spray. There was a partial bottle of water and a cigarette lighter on the recliner. I brought the items to the front desk and told the girl about the smell in the room. She took the lighter and water, and said she was sorry. That was it!!! We weren't offered another room. Ridiculous!!! The room itself was not that clean. One of the pillows smelled horrible. We had to scrub the TV remote. There was something gummy all over it. Disgusting!!

We arrived late on a road trip, and left early the next morning. Easy check-in. Convenient to highway. No-frills but adequate free hot breakfast. Room and beds were comfortable. AC unit for our room was leaking water on the floor so the carpet was wet in a corner of the room. Alerted the front desk when we checked out.

We’ve stayed here many many times over the last 2 years and sadly the hotel is in need of a major refurbishing. Our last room had a toilet ready to tip over. 2 stays earlier the bathtub had a hole in it that was covered with a mat that still felt like you were going to fall through. All the shower heads need replaced. Sinks are clogged or slow. Room doors are cracked with gaps that do not make you feel completely private. We will stay loyal as the people and service are tops but hope a renovation is in the plans.

Seemed like an older property which needed some updating, but was fine for a night's stay. The room was large, and the breakfast spread was typical. Thought it was interesting that there were three sinks in the room - one in the restroom, one just outside the restroom door, and one in a small kitchen area with a microwave and a fridge. My biggest complaint was that there were no USB ports, and existing electrical outlets were few, hard to access, and the desk was not placed where you could easily access an outlet. I also did not like the lighting in the room - it seemed dim and yellow.

Some loud noise, sounded mechanical whirling or whistling started at 6am on Sunday morning and went off for like an hour. Seemed to be coming from other room or above us. We were in room 256.

Check in was amazing. Asked for late check out because of time checking in. Said noon was ok. Next morning was not the same story. The last at the front was extremely rude. Saying she didn’t care what we were told last night. No one told her. That’s not my problem. That’s an internal issue. Have stayed here before but won’t be returning. There are a lot of hotels in every town. The only thing that makes one better than the other is the customer service. In this department the day crew at this location is lacking

Hotel was nicely appointed. They had sold out and because a previous guest had smoked in the room I had been assigned, I was upgraded to a jacuzzi room at no additional charge. I didn’t use it, but it was a nice gesture. Only gripe is the $200 credit hold they put on my card as a deposit against damage. It is in their terms and conditions, but $200 seems a bit excessive. I have no worries that I won’t get it back as I don’t trash the room I’m staying in.

This property was EXCELLENT! The decor made you feel like you were at a elegant home. Very comfortable and safe. ALL the staff were kind, helpful and happy. The shower was wonderful, it should be apart of the attraction! I loved everything about this place - even the event staff was above level.

Liked everything. The young lady the evening clerk was so helpful,kind , sweet and knowledgeable. All of the daytime people were so nice and helpful. We had a problem with our freezer in the refrigerator and they came right in and fixed it. We will be staying there every time we come to Springfield. God bless. Mrs Deborah O'Neal.

I had four 8 year olds with me We checked in at about 1 and swam from 2-5. We went back to the room for the night and at 630 the toilet was clogged. I called the front desk and asked for assitance. They dropped off a plunger and noone followed up Needless to say. We did not have a toilet to use the whole night. They had to pee in th the bathtub I approached the front desk the next morning and I got a I am sorry for any inconvenince.

The staff was extremely RUDE and IF I asked a question or wanted some information, they made me feel like it was an imposition for them to answer me! I did NOT like the location, the staff or the breakfast!! Would NEVER recommend this property!!

Great location, close to highway and shopping. Fantastic receptionist who recommended great restaurants. We went to Xochimilco, nice Mexican next-door: they had better food than in the Southwest... and we were coming from Arizona and New Mexico :-) Hotel also has very easy access to all local touristic spots. Big, nice rooms, with pleasant and somewhat different decorations.
