Our only complaint was the floors were not clean. The floor had been swept or vacuumed, but our socks became filthy within minutes after we took our shoes off in the room.

The room appeared clean. However, once you gave it a good look over you can tell they don’t do a deep clean. We always check for bed bugs. We found a lot of hairs, dandruff and dead bugs (not bed bugs) stuck between the mattress and head board. The bathroom had pee stains on the toilet and floor and the shower was gross. We reserved our room at $85, but when we arrived we were charge $108. The girl that checked us in was snooty and rude. I willows has always been our half way stop between locations. I definitely will not stay at this motel again.

This was my second stay here. It was impeccably clean last time, not so much now. We wiped everything down with disinfectant wipes and the wipes were filthy just from light switches and seats. We found dog food that hadn’t been swept from the corners. The frame around the TV came unglued and fell. The WiFi didn’t work AT ALL which wouldn’t be an issue if cell service in this area also wasn’t so terrible. I know we get what we pay for but this was a downgrade from the same space last year for sure. We will pony up the extra cash or stay elsewhere next time we’re in Willows.

Well. It’s motel 6. I swore I’d never stay in another. But all the hotels in town were booked, even with reserving weeks ahead of time. The card swipe to open the doors is absolutely ridiculous. It wouldn’t open no matter how many times I tried. I went back to the front counter twice. When I came back later in the evening another man was having the same problems two doors down. So clearly the problem was not me. Also, not the cleanest. No coffee in the room. Parking lot is small. There was garbage out in front of rooms when I checked in (including a large box for a new refrigerator). Only two pillows per bed. Bathroom is small. The price is outrageous for the lack of amenities. I wanted to pay cash, but to do so I would have been required to pay a $150 deposit. Really? For what?

We liked our recent stay, and the place looked great after its interior remodeling! It was spotless, so comfy, and felt brand new. The only problem was the super loud faulty AC unit in room 217 – hopefully, they'll fix that soon. Great location for travelers, too, and a decent price.

Newly renovated room was great! I would not have recognized it as a Motel 6. It was one of the larger motel/hotel rooms I've ever had, too: very spacious. Location was perfect for overnighting to break up a road trip: just yards off the interstate and neighbored by gas stations and fast food. My husband and I did laugh ourselves silly over the pool ladder straight into the ground, though. Also he's a smoker and got eaten alive by mosquitoes when he went outdoors to smoke. Not the motel's fault, but if you're a smoker or plan to spend more than a moment or two at a time outdoors in late summer, pack mosquito repellent.

I thought it was a great price for a one night stay to break up a long drive. Didn’t need anything fancy. Room was clean. Bed was a little stiff for me, but I’m a side sleeper. Good TV selection. Quiet-away from the freeway enough that the traffic wasn’t audible. Only thing that wasn’t right (for me) was the bathroom light comes on with motion, and I don’t want a bright light hitting me when I get up at night for a visit.
