I was disappointed in the laundry service not enough working machines both washer and dryer

The bed had someone else’s hair in it, the bathroom ceiling was covered in mold, it was filthy. There were hairs, including pubic hairs, on the bathroom walls. Curtains didn’t work. The microwave didn’t work. There was no safe for valuables. The deadbolt was busted and barely hanging on. The walls were paper thin and you could hear everything. The grass outside had tons of dog poop. The outside doors were broken (if you exited a side door and wanted to re-enter, you had to come around to the front). Service was nonexistent. We slept fully clothed to minimize contact with the bedding. Bed wasn’t comfortable. I’m actually not a picky hotel person and I was amazed at how dirty this place was. I seriously considered if they washed towels or just refolded them between bookings. It really took gross to a whole new level. We left early.

Our room was dirty and stains all over the ceiling. The bath also the same thing it's a beautiful building from the outside, but this place needs to be renovated. We was only in our room for 5 minutes and we check out.

We were only there to sleep, and it was fine for that. We came as a family- there were a lot of people smoking marijuana at the entrances and exits, and smoking in general- I didn't love that around children. We didn't check in until dinnertime/well after check-in, so there was no cleaning rush, but when we got into the room, there were dirty linens on the floor and in the garbage with something black on them. The kitchen counters and table didn't look like they'd been wiped- there was a jelly-like substance on them. I told the guy at the from desk about the linens, bc I didn't want to be blamed for them. I think hotels generally believe "we are training new cleaning staff" sounds better than "we hired subpar staff to save money". They make you tell them how many people will be in the room, but only provide two sets of washcloths, regardless of your response. The pillows were ok, but the beds were hard. There were sprays of what I hope was dried ketchup on the floor by the window.

Dirty! Gunk around bottom of bathroom sink faucets. Carpet dirty. Visible strands of dust hanging from lamp shades. Free Breakfast? Only if you consider coffee (no decaf available!), hot water and packages of oatmeal a breakfast. No eggs. No Juice. No muffins. No yogurt. Claim of free breakfast is a complete rip-off. Place looked like it had been built in 1990 and never upgraded. Anybody who rates this place as more than 3 out of 10 is packing the reviews! Staff was helpful and I have no complaints about them.

A sign at the front desk said all employees wear panic buttons and the manager checking guests in was behind a thick plexiglass. 4 police cars were present, removing a couple for spousal dispute, while also asking management to identify a room card of someone who had just committed a crime. Dogs barked from behind several room doors. Had reserved a room with cooking facilities - had to request dishes, utensils, pots and pans from the front desk and carry them in bus tubs up to the room. The room was dirty: took a filthy chair back down to the front desk to exchange for a clean one; asked for a broom to sweep the floor and requested a hairdryer missing from the room. Upon closer inspection, saw the bedding covered in gross white bodily fluids; the toilet was not clean. Promptly checked out and requested a refund. Another hotel said guests come to them from this hotel, which they believe is being used as a shelter. It is unsafe and filthy. Another guest said they went to the wrong room by mistake and their key opened a different guest’s room and they walked right in. Shame on this hotel manager and chain for misleading visitors into thinking it is a traditional hotel.

The front desk service was awesome. The person that day was great and super helpful. That is where the good part ends. The location is tired and appears to be used as temporary housing. The room was tired and in rough shape. I could see that an attempt was made to clean the room, as best as could be done. The body odor smell was overpowering. The furniture was worn out, the tv an afterthought. Just not good. We immediately left, less than 5 minutes in the room. Pictures are very misleading as this might have been at a better time. The parking lot had cars that seemed to be storage locations. Again when we decided to leave the host was awesome even refunding our money. I wrote to the manager to share the awesome customer experience - but that could not save the dismal property.

The property was without water from 7am until check-out. The bathroom had black mold on the ceiling and was filthy and a vast majority of the hotel smelled of weed. The staff was wonderful, but I will never stay at this hotel again.

Ordered a room with a queen bed but appeared to be more of a full/double size bed than a queen.

I stayed for a week and a half to visit family and take care of some business. Glad I found this property. I lived in Hackettstown for 21 years and came back for a visit. Perfect location, as I had to travel between Hackettstown, Newton, Toms River and Allentown. Room was comfortable, but the mattress creaked whenever I sat up in bed. The shower curtain could have used a fabric freshener. The A/C was one of the quieter ones and kept the room comfortable. I definitely made use of the coffee maker and fridge, both of which worked well. The staff were courteous and accommodating. As there aren't many choices for lodging in the area, I was very happy I found this location, and I would stay here again next time.

The pillows were thin as well as the blankets. It wasn’t a comfortable sleep. The toilet needed to be secured better to the floor and the shower curtain was drooping, causing the shower curtain to not close all the way.

Great comfortable stay, except for the guest next door with the TV on all night. And also that there is no USB port for charging your phone. Otherwise good.

Very outdated and worn. Room did not feel clean. Carpet did not look or feel clean. Light on the smoke detector above the bed blinks brightly. Dog next door was noisy.

Zero carpet in the rooms and full linoleum floors made the rooms feel on the cheap side. No USB outlets anywhere as well.

The one thing I didn't like is that the blankets were really thin. Otherwise it was a fine place to sleep

Staff was exceptional .

The experience was terrible for me. We booked the hotel online and when we reached there, the man on the front desk was not at all trained. He was not knowing what was he doing. We told him that we booked the hotel online and he said the room I booked was not available which is ok. We told him to give us any room which is available as it was too late and we were really tired. He asked us for our ID and he didn't even know where to find address on the ID. Most terrible part was even though I already paid only for the room online, he again charged us $100 saying that you can ask refund from Expedia which was extra work for me. He took almost an hour for giving us a room. Other than that there was no hot water in the washroom. It was the worst experience for me.

Room was clean. Staff was wonderful. Very helpful and cheerful! Great coffee in the morning!!

The people in the next room were screaming and banging on the walls. Took two hours for the front desk to answer. The guy was so rude and he clearly didn’t want to be bothered. The sheets had crumbs in them when I turned the bedspread back.

No one at reception desk for 45 minutes trying to check in. Had a wedding to attend at 5:30 and didn’t check in until 4pm because person at reception desk disappeared for 45 minutes. Will never stay here again or use Expedia again.

I arrived at 2pm to check in. The woman at the front desk was so rude to me she said ““your room is probably not ready“ without even checking anything. I realize that check-in is at 3 PM. It’s not like I showed up at 8 AM. She handed me off to a gentleman who was very cordial and professional. I appreciated him not her.

The staff was awesome. Very friendly and very efficient. The hotel is located in a shopping plaza so plenty of shopping and/or dining nearby. Plenty of parking. The hotel is showing some signs of age so the rooms are a bit run down but are very clean, beds are comfortable, you can get any amenities you need for the room from the front desk (plates, glasses, utensils.)

Hotel is excellent and the staff are amazing and helpful . I would like to mention the desk staff that has been extremely helpful and professional. Shonda , Cherish , Cheryl and Peter . The manager Vilota is also very helpful . Joe from maintenance is so hard working and friendly .

It needs a lot of maintenance work. People hanging outside front entrance. The place was dirty.

Location and surroundings were good. The pavement directly to the front entrance could use some power washing. Although inside was pretty clean. Staff at the front desk were attentive and pleasant.

It’s clean and located in a quiet residential area. We only stayed overnight. We were traveling.

Good place to stay fir the weekend, close to the Rockaway mall

dining nearby. easy access from highway. 5 or more people hanging out in front of the main entrance smoking, every time we went in or out. Police were there when we checked out, not sure why, but investigating some disturbance.

4 mins off rt 80 highway Easy for a 1 night stay. It does the job but nothing to feel special about. Breakfast options are grab-n-go like oatmeal packets, and nutrigrain bars. But if you need a quick night stop it’s a safe location.

Been here once, convenient spot but definitely not a favorite. "Breakfast" is hot coffee/tea and packaged food (ex: oatmeal, granola bar, single muffins). Been to better for generally same price

I didn't really use this as an extended stay, so I can't comment on the laundry or the kitchen stuff. But it was as advertised and we had what we needed. I would just say as a clarification (and not a complaint) that the breakfast isn't that big. Just coffee, instant oatmeal, chocolate muffins, and cereal bars. When I skimmed past the pics before reserving, I had a sense there was more to it. Then later, I did look closer at pics and saw it was rather limited. It was fine, but if you are thinking it's a hot breakfast or with expanded options, that's not what this is.

They advertised breakfast but it wasn’t even a continental breakfast. Coffee and a packaged pastry was all that was offered.

Its a decent place with old furniture but clean & staff are nice . Breakfast is just coffee & you could get snacks like a muffin , oatmeal bag & hot chocolate , so don't expect egg's , orange juice or cereal . There's restaurant in the area if you want hot breakfast.

To go food consisted of fruitbar and little packed muffin that didnt get put out until 630 almost 7am 1 one day and nobody would answer front desk phone

Good, clean hotel. Have stayed here several times over the years and it's showing some age in a few rooms, but it's always CLEAN. Breakfast leaves something to be desired, but the staff is super friendly and helpful.
