Property was under construction, and amenities were unavailable. Room smelled gross. They also gave me the key to a different person's room when I checked in, and I was able to enter that room. This is very dangerous. No laundry or other amenities available.

The property itself was OK. It is beginning to look like it needs some maintenance in certain areas (dirty carpet and painting mostly). What I did not like during my stay there was that there was no coffee pot in the room. There was coffee packets on the kitchenette counter but when I asked the front desk about it, I was told that none of the rooms had a coffee maker. The other thing is the main reason I was staying at that particular location is because they had a gym. Well, while being walked up to my room I was told the gym was out of commission due to a fire months ago so I was unable to use the gym the whole time I was there. The fire alarm went off three times during my 8 night stay.

The property is completely falsely advertised in the photos, what you see there is what it used to look like maybe when it was opened but it definitely isn\'t the case anymore. The hotel is dirty from the front door all the way up to the rooms. The carpets haven\'t been vacuumed in a while, the sheets have stains, there\'s water damage on the walls and ceilings. Most of the advertised hotel amenities aren\'t available because of the "construction works" and as they said at the reception there\'s very limited breakfast options. The receptionists and the hotel manager act as they\'re genuinely helpful while you tell them that you don\'t like the room and don\'t want to stay at the hotel until you leave and then just pretend there was never any issues when Expedia customer support contacts them. To sum it up, I got there, the room wasn\'t ready, checked it out and left after 15 minutes to a different hotel. Don\'t stay here if your expectations aren\'t very low to none!

Elevator was out our entire stay and we were on the 4th floor. Bathtub had the slowest drain of any place we've ever stayed. Front desk never had new towels or sheets for us. We would have to bring ours down for them to wash and dry and then pick them back up. Front desk never had any of the items they advertise that they carry for customers convenience. The free wifi was horrible. I work remotely and had issues our entire stay with how slow the internet is. Just an all around horrible experience.

Public area is dirty and needs repair

This hotel used to have alot of long term worker guests..wasn't fancy, but was clean, quiet and basic breakfast and evening snacks were served. It's now filthy and run down. Elevator is unreliable, food is left on carpets and there are terrible stains everywhere, breakfast and evening food all cancelled. The front desk staff are pleasant, but they have clearly cancelled some of the staff as while my room was clean, the general living areas are awful.

My experience was okay given the fact that the hotel was under construction during my stay.

My Stay At This Property Was Horrible , I Did Not Expect This In Farmington Hills . The WiFi Did Not Work. I Was Without WiFi && I Paid For That As Apart Of My Stay There . The Whole Floor I Stayed On .. the (2ND) Floor.. There Was Trashbags Of Food Just Sitting By The Elevator For Hours .. There Was Broken Tile In My Bathroom .. The Hotels Front Door Stayed Open Just For Anyone to Walk In It ..

After finding 5 roaches over a 2 Day period we left

I went to the room it was late, their were roaches scattering everywhere when i opened the door. Tried to get another room to no avail, and left the hotel. I would of rather slept in the rental car, it was so much cleaner.

Hair on the floor and towels. Found bugs in the drawers.

Microwave didn’t work, roaches in room, door knob was missing and I was stuck in room, had to call front desk to come get me out, toilet seat had dry urine on it

Initially room was clean but no one inquired about fresh towels, emptying garbage, nothing for 2 days. At 10:58am housekeeping made their presence known to see if we checked out. Coffee available but no cream or sugar and I was told by the front desk there wouldn't be any either, not even if I asked housekeeping. I had to go to the gas station for a cup of coffee. There were 2 small roaches in the tub, one dead one alive.

Dirty room. Pee stain on the blanket. I got a suite with a kitchenette, and there was no pans or anything to cook with. And the TV only had two channels.

the advertisement of the property is not what it reflects in real time. very outdated dirty room had holes in the wall, appliances were damaged, smelled like tobacco, horrid experience.

The first room they put me in, the battery for the door was dead…. I put my things in the room and left out to get food .. came back not able to get in my room…. Took a few hours , no on call maintenance…. For them to offer me another room, as I took the other room… it was the most nastiest dirty room I ever seen. The closet door was broken and just sitting there , stains on the furnatuyre and floors and walls …. Hair and sticky things all over the floor in the bathroom, gum on the remote for the tv… which didn lt even have batteries in. I booked for 2 nights and stayed barely the first night. I have to now wait for the manager to call me to get a refund . Worse experience ever. The person at the front desk said “well this is the cleanest this place has been since it took over new management “. Also said the cleaning people are nice.. I said that’s great I m glad they are good people but they should still know how to clean but don’t have open rooms if they have not been cleaned out.

This Hotel needs a complete upgrade. Rooms and halls smell like smoke. Mold was growing on the shower head and shower faucet in the bathroom. Couch was extremely dirty, leather chair was ripped and was also dirty. They definitely need to upgrade their furniture. Didn’t look they vacuumed or cleaned the room properly. Saw a big bug and not sure if it’s something to be concerned about, hopefully they don’t have any infestations of any kind. The stairways were dirty, people leaving candy wrappers and doors open. Their WIFI is absolutely terrible. TV’s were very small in the room and we had to go back and forth and use one remote on each TV. Microwave door handle was completely broken off, someone left the handle inside the microwave but we took it out and made it work for the days we were there.

The sofa beds are broken and dirty. I asked for a room change and they said no until I insisted we needed the extra bed. They just let me check a different room and the mattress of the sofa was all orange/yellow and smelled bad. Didn’t expect hotel being in those conditions.

The bed was springy and uncomfortable, pillows extremely flimsy, had to get keycards fixed multiple times a day because the card reader kept malfunctioning, and the highway noise was inescapable. Staff was friendly and helpful though.

When I entered the room the AC was running and set to 60 but it was sweltering hot. There was a used washcloth and bar of soap next to the sink in the bathroom, so I assumed that maybe someone had just been in the room and just turned on the AC. I was willing to overlook the dirty conditions and used cloths in the bathroom, but after 3 hours of blasting the AC and no change in temperature, I realized it was broken and I needed to change rooms. However, when I went to the front desk the manager Chelsea said they were booked solid that evening and practically sneered at me that I had been in the room ‘all day’ and just now said something. She said she couldn’t offer me a refund or a new room but she would give me a fan. I called Hotels.com customer support for help but they were unable to refund the stay so I was forced to accept the fan. My room was on the 3rd floor and even with the window open (next to a noisy highway) and a large box fan running it extremely hot all night. It was cooler outside, in July. I ended up not returning to the property the next night and instead cut my trip short. I was very willing to overlook the condition of the room, and the lack of trash cans, and even the broken AC wouldn’t lead me to leave a bad review if there had been any effort. The person at the desk was THE MANAGER, they certainly had the power to offer me some kind of help, move me to a partner hotel, etc. I was patient, Chelsea was unapologetic.

The room was very spacious. Had a full kitchen, dishwasher, sink, and frig. The flooring was very warn and dirty. The bathtub was plugged and did not drain properly. The bedding and towels seemed clean.

This place was honestly really great for the price, the room had nice carpet and vinyl floors, I couldn’t believe the room had a stove, microwave, full size fridge and a dishwasher full of dishes, along with a toaster and coffee maker. Bathroom was really nice too. Only bad thing I can say is they advertise free breakfast and a fitness room but offer neither. Also they rarely had coffee in the common area but overall I’d give this place a solid 8.5 out of 10.

Had to change sheets upon arrival, coffee pot did not work, heater was very noisy at night, bed was fair in comfort. But fir the price it was as expected.

Key card for door did not work. Desk attendant let us in our room. Even her card took 5 tries before it finally worked. She said a new card would in not fix the issue. Bedside lamps and plug did not work. The suite was clean and i liked the separate room, and the price was great.

There was no remote control for the Tv in the room assigned to me

It was a comfortable experience, and I'd go back for another time. The customer service was very helpful and resourceful.

All of the staff were always very friendly and helpful.

We will never stay here again. Staff was unhelpful. Needed manager for everything but manager not on site. After a 30-minute check-in wait, room key did not work. Staff said needed a manager to fix it, but no manager was on-site. Gave up and left. Stayed at a different hotel since I could not even get into a room. Tried to get a refund but was refused. Worst. Hotel. Ever.

I bought a hotel room from here and when I got there they couldn’t accommodate me, they told me they were fully booked and I would have to go through hotels.com to get a refund since I couldn’t even stay in their hotel. I reached out to you guys and after a while you emailed me that because the hotel won’t answer you can’t give me a refund. It is not my fault or my responsibility to force the workers at this hotel to do their job. I was told to go through you guys and you’re saying you need them to answer to do anything for me but where does that leave me? Not being able to trust hotels.com….I was not even able to use this room yet you’re still trying to charge me. I would like to speak to someone about this otherwise I need to dispute this on my bank card…this is ridiculous that I have to go through all of these obstacles just to get a refund from this hotel that was fully booked when I got there. This is also the second time this hotel location has been fully booked after I purchased a room

Could not get into my room until an hour after I checked in because the door keys weren’t working. Had to go back to the front desk 6 times before being given a smaller room that I didn’t pay for (pd for a suite). This room also had a ton of trash in it and had not been cleaned. Then they finally came up and opened the door manually to the room I was supposed to have. Can’t leave my room cause I have no key to get in. Worst stay ever.

I arrived at the location after midnight and a sign indicated I needed to call for the attendant. I used the phone in the lobby and dialed zero and the phone rang until it went to a busy signal. I continued calling 4 more times before the attendant showed up. Once the attendant did show up, I was assigned a handicap room but not with a roll in shower as I had requested. The attendant looked for a room with a roll in shower and provided me electronic keys to the room. The attendant indicated there were no towels in the room so he handed me a pile of them to take to the room. Once I arrived at the room the keys did not work and I had to go back to the lobby to get a new set. When I finally got into the room, I saw that there were no hangers for me to hang my clothes on or cups for me to drink any water or take any pills. I called the front desk and was told there were no hangers, they were getting a shipment the next day, but he would bring me some cups. The condition of the room was poor. The linens were thin and the carpet looked like it had not been vacuumed. While staying at the hotel I had an accident where I slipped coming out of the roll in shower and hit my head against the gripping bar. I called the front desk and asked if they would have housekeeping clean the bath room. I was told it was Christmas and there was no housekeeping and I would have to clean it myself. If I wanted any cleaning items, I would have go to the front desk to get them.

No wifi during my stay, property unable to help. Constant back and forth over trying to end my stay early. Horrible communication, overall a frustrating experience and would not recommend this place.

Horrifying! Please read carefully. If you are trying yo get robbed, murdered, or slashed I highly recommend this hotel. I have no idea how their reviews are more than 7/10. I have never in my life experienced such a horrible situation. NO one is at the check in counter. The receptionists there don’t wanna work. They yell at you when you need something. I didn’t see no ordinary humans there. Only tattooed gang members and criminals. The air conditioner wasn’t working and It was soo hot. Like an oven. They refused to give me another room or a refund. They even didn’t have anyone to check me out early. I got stuck in the elevator too coz it wasn’t working properly. If you value your life, never approach this hotel.

The hotel is located in a nice neighborhood close to everything. As a facility, the hotel can be one of the best in town however the problem lies in the staff woking inside it. The management needs reshuffle and professional hotel experts handle the situation. Everything needs refresh from the stained floor carpets everywhere to the wifi, piles if trash everywhere to the cleanliness in the hotel in general.

Quiet and close to expressway and family

This must be a prisoner rehab hotel. We had folks who looked like they just left prison, plus 9 cops/detectives with many evidence bags leaving someone's room. If that weren't enough, the initial room we were given had nasty dirty dishes in the dishwasher, but only 4 pieces left including 1 fork. The ones before us must have stolen all of the kitchenware items; so much for using the kitchenette. The room smelled strongly of bleach, well, at least something was cleaned?? The bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable, floor had a big pet stain, fridge was super noisy, chair was a very ripped dumpster reject, and the worst part was it faced the busiest freeway in the Detroit metro area so you couldn't sleep if you wanted to. The next day, we asked for a different room. This one overall was much better - but still a very uncomfortable bed, noisy fridge and sticky floor. The hotel staff was only present and available once - you have to wait and call and wait, there is no bell. But, at least they were nice and responsive to requests. Really the management needs to take responsibility for cleaning and upgrading. Do not recommend!

Safe area, close to grocery shopping and other needs

I felt entirely unsafe. Nobody at front desk when I attempted to check in. Hardly any lights. I didn’t end up staying because I was too afraid. Ended up sleeping in my car.

Super location, nice apartment style hotel.

Cops are here 3 times in a week do to theft and other things I don’t know about.

No Breakfast offered when free breakfast was advertised. Recliner chair was broken in room. Dirty wash rag was left in kitchen sink. Staff was very friendly and polite.

The front desk clerk who checked me in was great, friendly and efficient. The rest of my stay was not as pleasant. The room was not very clean, the shower drain did not work, the microwave handle was broken off, I had to rewash the dishes before using, the a/c-heat didn’t work, the bed linens were so skimpy I had to fold them over to get warm, the gym was closed and when I tried to get some coffee condiments (cream/sugar packets) from the front desk one evening, I was told by the clerk that she couldn’t give me any. This was not a very cheap place to stay. Next time I will spend a little more for a better hotel.

Advertise free breakfast, but there was no breakfast. Free coffee from 5am-1230pm but i dont consider this breakfasts...misleading!
