Overall good experience. The lobby is under construction but everything else was done. First impression walking in was a bit odd but you don’t go to a hotel for the lobby, you go for the rooms and those were nice.

The parking is very limited, but it worked out ok. It would be helpful for the desk staff to tell us our parking options st check in. We had a wonderful stay, with ouf concert venue and many good restaurants nearby.

Second room sheets were piled on bed unmade, trash in room and bathroom not cleaned. Front desk stag was excellent in hell g make it right. He saved the day (and two evenings).

No self laundromat. Saw a huge cockroach in my room during my last night of stay (staying 4nights), and I couldn’t sleep well because I didn’t know it will come to my bed while I was sleeping!! Other than those, should be a decent hotel.

Such a hidden gem!! The property is newly renovated and beautiful. The rooms have large bathrooms and was immaculate. The breakfast was the best I've ever had a free breakfast hotel (cook individualy pancake maker!!). But the best part of my stay was the amazing staff

What a pleasant surprise this hotel was. Our room was brand newly decorated and so clean and spacious. Beds and pillows were super comfy. The bathroom has a wonderful mirror with great lighting for putting on makeup. Most of the toiletries are name brand Dove. The only weird thing was no body lotion. But I brought my own. The free breakfast is really decent, with lots of filling and healthy options. The location was perfect for us. Last time I stayed at one of the expensive hotels in Birmingham that are twice the price. I actually liked this better, more spacious, practical and relaxing!

I enjoyed my stay here, king suite was 140 a night tax and I stayed here truly for the tub. The room had a jacuzzi tub with jets and it was exactly what I needed and 10/10 would recommend for the location as well as it’s right near downtown Detroit 5-10 min away from almost everything. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. There were a few small things we needed and the staff was very accommodating. I will probably stay here again in the near future.

An urban hotel with a small town feel. Easily located hotel right off of Woodward Avenue and within walking distance of shopping and restaurants. A short car ride from the trendy towns of Ferndale and Royal Oak. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous and made me feel welcome as soon as I walked in the door. This will be my place to stay when I am in the Detroit area.
