During my trip I stayed at several Motel 6 locations - the standards vary between each. The check in lady (Elizabeth IIRC) was to busy chatting with one of her work colleagues to pay any attention during the check in process. This was a single overnight stay on route to elsewhere. Location less than desirable - only good thing I can say about it was a supermarket and several oriental restaurants within 2 minutes walking distance. Defects with my room as follows Holes in curtains Constantly running (trickle) of water from the bath faucet. Bathroom electrical socket barely secured to the wall. Furniture very tired and mostly damaged. Mattress broken (sunken on one side). AND - no fridge (in California ??)

There's construction going on near the pool and the folks and yelling starting at 8:30 am in the morning. Also lot of drug addicts staying at this property I think we're making a lot of noise at night .

They were redoing the asphalt parking lot this week 7/17/23 made parking a little harder but it wasn't really bad at all. They are upgrading the office and coffee area and actually looks pretty good.

There was hair in my bed when I removed the cover I have the picture as it was so late that I checked in I slept with my jeans The room also had some smoke odour or some other substance … The garbage can by the stairs was fallen down and some weird guest smoking by the pool…. Not a decent for solo female or if you concern .. it was arena channels TV and no even clear No washroom shampoo or body wash.

Good: I liked the location. Also near to many shops. Bad: Dirty towels along the hallways. Mattresses were in terrible conditions. I asked to be moved to other room for that reason. Sheets on bed had holes. Heather did not work properly.

I booked a "Luxury" room, but turned out it's only one of the rooms at end/edge of the building with extra window and some space, nothing luxury about it. The wifi signal is so weak it's not usable. Window faces busy freeway so the noise is extra loud! I asked the desk to fix the wifi signal but only got lip-service "will talk to the manager". The manage was not on-site most of the times. Eventually I requested to change to a reqular room which was quieter and had better wifi signal, but the hotel refuses to refund the differences between luxury and regular room. I have another party that reserved another Luxury room, but at check-in they were told the luxury room was not available due to some problem, and were given a reqular room, again no refund of the differences between luxury room and reqular room. I think the hotel is not respectful of its customers.

The staff was all excellent- very friendly and helpful! My main issue was that the heater in the room didn’t work! Since we arrived so late at night and were so tired we didn’t have the energy to move all our stuff to a new room (and I was skeptical that the heater would work better in another room), since they seem to leave the units off in all the vacant rooms, the rooms are so cold when you first arrive in. That made our stay uncomfortable but the room was clean and again, the staff was wonderful. I do think their prices were higher than what I’d justify spending on such simple accommodations, too.
