Exterior needs attention, including the parking lot. There are many positives and I will stay here again. The bath tub is slippery and needs a rubber mat.

Clean room. Very worn/soiled hallway carpets. Mattress was horrible, lumpy, smashed at an angle. It was like trying to sleep horizontally on the side of a hill. Miserable.

The photo of the property is more appealing than the property itself. While everything was actually fine, the property seemed a bit "tired" and in need of an upgrade. Maybe we are spoiled, having stayed in other Wyndham properties. It was all fine, just not super-fine. Thank you

I missed the grab & go breakfast by 10 minutes; I THINK they could have just had me go into their kitchen and grab something. Also, I was surprised that they did NOT have an elevator to the 2nd floor; although the front desk staff did carry my suitcase up the stairs since I had just torn my rotator cuff.

The front desk staff are very nice, and readily available 24 hours. There is an on site laundry for guests that stays open until 8pm. Food options are plentiful and within walking distance, as is a large Fred Meyer, Walmart, Starbucks, Happy Teriyaki, Wendy's, and Jack In The Box. Will happily stay here again.

Location is great. Room was ok, however several issues. There was uncleaned melted cheese in the microwave, spilled purple liquid in the fridge and hair in the bathtub. When I tried to use the hairdryer in the room the following morning, it kept shutting off so I left with wet hair as I hadn’t brought my own. Bedding and carpeting appeared clean

Facility needs a massive overhaul! Front desk staff always nice & cheerful! Really did enjoy talking with them! Excellent staff! Grounds of motel were plain, but green. Very close to shopping and restaurants. Walking distance! Rooms were old looking. Dark & dingy. Walls probably could have used good scrubbing. House keeping should have done a lot more cleaning in the room. Behind chairs and along the walls was very filthy. Chairs & other furniture did not get moved to clean. Same with around the beds. Which the mattresses are sitting on plywood. The beds have plywood around them. The blankets smelled like urine (as we were leaving my son let me know. And yes it was very gross. He said he did not use the blanket at all while we there the three nights. He was using a blanket from home.) The sheets looked clean. But the blankets I didn't think to look at till then. They were not clean. Unsafe issue was that the cords behind the table in between the beds. They were spliced & put together with im assuming electrical tape. As in lamp cords & possibly extension cords. Not safe at all! Bathroom corners & along the walls could have had way more cleaning done to them as well. The shower wall was coming off showing the color of the fiberglass under the shower wall. Ceilings and walls were gross looking, discolored. Looked moldy possibly. Looked dirty looking. Sink was rough too. Gave us towels for 3. I booked 4. Shower head leaked and sprayed. Hot water and soaps in shower though.

Everyone was very nice during my stay. It's in a very convenient location too. Everything was fine except for the bathroom. It didn't look like they cleaned the shower, because there was hair in the tub. There was hair all over the bathroom floor too. My hair was up, so I know it wasn't mine. Other than that, it seemed well kept. The TV is huge too! The little couch was nice as well.

Our shower didn't drain. The blow dryer didn't work. The place wasn't clean. The bathroom fan sounded like a freightliner. We couldn't sleep or hear the tv while the bathroom fan was on. If any of the other rooms had the bathroom fan on, we could hear it in our rooms.

For Shelton, the location was great. Right next to big shopping centers (Walmart, Fred Meyers, lots of eateries, Starbucks, etc), and right off Hwy 101. And downtown Shelton, is a short distance away. We noticed a strong cleaning smell, which can be bothersome. Likely, the carpeting probably needs some serious airing out. We have minimal requirements for hotel stays as we are at a location to enjoy things away from the place we stay. So as long as the location is good, the room is decent, we're fine with it. And the price is OK for what it provides. We have stayed at other Super 8's, and this one ranks on the lower end. However it met our needs, so no real complaints. And if we are around in Shelton again, we'll likely look to this location.

Really impressed with this hotel. The rooms are modern and well equipped and spotlessly clean. The staff are wonderfully friendly, even in the middle of the night. The property is quiet and safe and very well-maintained. It definitely exceeded my expectations and I will stay again.

I always look forward to leaving a good, positive review of my hotel stays... but can't do it this time. The front desk were friendly and helpful, the maid service was also good. But the rooms and maintenance are severely lacking. This place is in desperate need to work! I will not stay there again when I return to Shelton next year, I'd rather drive the 17 miles to Olympia or Lacey. They say a picture speaks a thousand words... so take a look at some of the worst maintenance I've ever seen at any hotel. For anyone who wants to risk staying here... WEAR SOCKS OR SHOES... DO NOT GO BAREFOOT. Also be aware of deception concerning their "breakfast". You'll see a photo of their breakfast bar... but they DO NOT serve breakfast... unless you call a small end table in the lobby with packets of oatmeal, a mini muffin (very old), juice box or a banana "breakfast". I don't, so each day I had to go out for a true breakfast not just a morning snack. DO NOT go there thinking you're going to get a breakfast like other hotels serve, you'll have to eat out as I did. I have a simple question for management/owner... why can't you do a simple carpet cleaning, even if it's just one room a day. Oh... and show your maintenance how to open a can of paint and use a brush. It can do wonders. After a 2 nt. stay, I returned home... sick. Can't say it was from my hotel room, but it wouldn't surprise me.

Like another guy said it’s an older motel so it’s not perfect and a few eye sores, but good . The room was nice for what I needed and in a good location, with food and shops in walking distance. Also it’s right off hwy 101 so very easy to get going again . The only thing I really didn’t like was the bathroom for handicap people ….. a low sitting toilet and the bars weren’t in a good position making them unusable. But it’s nice if ya need to crash and recharge .

Showed up for a golf weekend and one of the rooms was unavailable. The person at the front desk blamed Expedia for canceling the reservation and was yelling at me about having to pay a commission to Expedia. Spent over 45 minutes on the phone with Expedia trying to figure out a solution which ended up being a refund for the room which wasn’t available. Then had to double up in the rooms which had razor blades in them. Very shady area.

I had a due not disturb sign on my door. I was asleep. A lady pounded on my door saying Front Desk. I asked her what she wanted. She said "I need to exchange a plugin but I can do it tomorrow" I asked her what plugin she needed to exchange. She didn't respond and walked off. I called the front desk and asked that if I have a don't disturb sign on the door, please don't disturb me. She said "have a nice day" and hung up on me.

She said "I need to exchange a plugin but I can do it tomorrow" I asked her what plugin she needed to exchange. She didn't respond and walked off. I called the front desk and asked that if I have a don't disturb sign on the door, please don't disturb me. She said "have a nice day" and hung up on me.

The property manager and his assistant are completely rude and UNPROFESSIONAL. Twice in the last 6 months they made mistakes on my reservation and then tried to blame me for it, screaming and yelling at me in the lobby in front of everyone. This location desperately needs to hire new management!

The front desk staff are very nice, and readily available 24 hours. There is an on site laundry for guests that stays open until 8pm. Food options are plentiful and within walking distance, as is a large Fred Meyer, Walmart, Starbucks, Happy Teriyaki, Wendy's, and Jack In The Box. Will happily stay here again.

Really impressed with this hotel. The rooms are modern and well equipped and spotlessly clean. The staff are wonderfully friendly, even in the middle of the night. The property is quiet and safe and very well-maintained. It definitely exceeded my expectations and I will stay again.

For Shelton, the location was great. Right next to big shopping centers (Walmart, Fred Meyers, lots of eateries, Starbucks, etc), and right off Hwy 101. And downtown Shelton, is a short distance away. We noticed a strong cleaning smell, which can be bothersome. Likely, the carpeting probably needs some serious airing out. We have minimal requirements for hotel stays as we are at a location to enjoy things away from the place we stay. So as long as the location is good, the room is decent, we're fine with it. And the price is OK for what it provides. We have stayed at other Super 8's, and this one ranks on the lower end. However it met our needs, so no real complaints. And if we are around in Shelton again, we'll likely look to this location.

I always look forward to leaving a good, positive review of my hotel stays... but can't do it this time. The front desk were friendly and helpful, the maid service was also good. But the rooms and maintenance are severely lacking. This place is in desperate need to work! I will not stay there again when I return to Shelton next year, I'd rather drive the 17 miles to Olympia or Lacey. They say a picture speaks a thousand words... so take a look at some of the worst maintenance I've ever seen at any hotel. For anyone who wants to risk staying here... WEAR SOCKS OR SHOES... DO NOT GO BAREFOOT. Also be aware of deception concerning their "breakfast". You'll see a photo of their breakfast bar... but they DO NOT serve breakfast... unless you call a small end table in the lobby with packets of oatmeal, a mini muffin (very old), juice box or a banana "breakfast". I don't, so each day I had to go out for a true breakfast not just a morning snack. DO NOT go there thinking you're going to get a breakfast like other hotels serve, you'll have to eat out as I did. I have a simple question for management/owner... why can't you do a simple carpet cleaning, even if it's just one room a day. Oh... and show your maintenance how to open a can of paint and use a brush. It can do wonders. After a 2 nt. stay, I returned home... sick. Can't say it was from my hotel room, but it wouldn't surprise me.
