Americas Best Value Inn & Suites St. Louis, St. Charles Inn

Pretty much entire hotel is under construction and it wasnt not mentioned on site. Pool in not open. Workers banging all day long.

Hotel under construction. I was still able to sleep through the construction noise. Staff allowed for late checkout.

Parking and location were great. The hotel other than that was only ok. It is currently under construction, so hopefully it will improve in the future.

The absolute worst hotel experience I've ever had. The hotel is under major renovation, so large amounts of debris and construction material were strewn everywhere in the lobby, stairs, and hallways. In my room, there were stains or other filth on the carpet, flooring, bed linens, and even the walls. The faucet in the bathroom was difficult to turn off, and the meager lighting went out after the first day; most of the light switches in the main part of the room were nonfunctional. The TV remote was missing its back, so the batteries kept falling out. For my 5-day stay, there was no cleaning service of the room, so the coffee supply ran out after 2 days. The breakfast set-up had a Belgian waffle maker, but no syrup or other toppings for the waffles; the coffee tasted like water.

There construction going on and there piles of debris everywhere. Outside my door there was huge pile of material that had been discarded. I reservation through Hotel.com and when I checked in thterewas no record of it so I ended up paying at the desk.
