This was a bate and switch overpriced for what you got. The lobby was under construction with dust and debris everywhere even in the elevator. None of the amenities were available including breakfast. I chose this over other hotels and paid the premium for the amenities and a decent breakfast and they did not tell you upfront with no refund available. Very dishonest. Go somewhere else

We booked this hotel because it had a pool and a hot tub it also had free breakfast,when we arrived the hotel is under construction and there is no pool or hot tub and there is no dining room or breakfast. I do not understand how you can charge me 205.00 for a room with all these things wrong and when I asked for some discount because of this the clerk refused

I was not informed that hotel was under construction until I got there. So pool down and kitchen down. That should have cut down on cost of room when I didn’t get all amenities! Last time I will stay at that hotel!

Housekeeping did not change the sheets. When bed coverings were moved there was a long hair, and wrinkled sheets from body weight. Pillow cases were not fresh. Used bathroom towels for pillows instead. Bathroom was good. No hair and appeared clean.

My only thing was the bathroom wasn't totally cleaned. Could have been rushing and missed a few spots. It was not like it was filthy or anything like that. Towels were clean. Dove soap was super moisturizing.

The room was dirty, hadn’t been vacuumed. The previous occupants must have had young kids because there was chips/food all over floor. Counters and tables weren’t wiped down and had numerous pop splattered down walls. Was offered another room and that room was also dirty; got cleaning supplies and cleaned rooms ourselves. Very disappointed for price of room and never had issues in the past

Our room was clean, and the beds were actually very comfortable. There are plenty of dining/doordash choices in town, and even an arcade and big park to kill some time. The staff members here were all very helpful and friendly. We would stay here again.

We were given a double queen room with two tvs and a nice couch. This was wonderful! My twin girls and I were able to relax together on the couch while talking and watching a TV show. It was one of the best stays I've had, and I normally choose HI Express in Sioux City IA and Des Moines IA as well as my travel preference. It was nice to get a great room to enjoy family. 5 Stars to them.

The place is very clean. The staff are super friendly. All around a great place. The reasons for a lower review - the beds are not comfortable. The mattresses are poor quality. You can feel the springs. One of the main needs in a hotel is a great night sleep. This was missing in our stay. Improve the mattresses and we would stay again. For now, we will stay elsewhere in the future.

We stayed in a "newly renovated room" on the 2nd floor which was clean and even had that new carpet smell. It was so newly renovated that none of our lamps had light bulbs. However despite being newly renovated, it was the LOUDEST hotel room I've ever stayed in. Any running water in adjacent or in the rooms above, such as showers or toilet flushes were like the fixtures were running in our room. Also, we could hear EVERY single footstep from the floor above us and the hallway. Keep in mind this was not people partying or stomping. This was floor board creaking like an old barn or something.

Jake (no last name given) was unprofessional and sloppy at check in. When I returned to ask for a different room because the door was broken, he was rude and said there were no other queen rooms and became snotty with me and then said he could refuse me any room if he chose. He then called for 2 repairmen from another hotel and they explained to me that this hotel wasn't kept in good condition. They repaired the door and I thanked them for their help. After we finally were able to get our bags in the room, someone unlocked and tried to get in the room. Fortunately I had the safety latch on. I opened the door to see who had access to this room and without knocking, tried to get in. She said she was the manager but had no name tag or uniform to show she was the manager. I was very upset that she tried to walk in unannounced. She became very flustered and apologized and said she would comp us the room. I have never been to a hotel with such sloppy and unprofessional service!!!

Room was clean, no smells. Pull out sofa bed mattress was spotless. We didnt have sheets for pullout bed but when asked they brought up right away. Only complaint with room was water pressure could have been stronger. Breakfast was amazing, they had a great variety and yogurt was greek zero sugar yogurt, not the sugary kind.

Even though room wasn't quite ready to we arrived to check-in, we were actually about 240pm when check-in time is 3pm. Front desk was very helpful and when we came back about 10 minutes later he assured us the room was cleaned and inspected. Very professional on his part.

Nice size room, breakfast was good with a lot of options, the property was clean and newly renovated. My only small gripe was the staff who checked us in was very curt with me and seemed like I was bothering him. Didn’t tell me the usual need-to-know info like how to access WiFi, when breakfast was served or where the pool and fitness areas were located. Also when he told me the total bill I was a little surprised at the cost and his answer was one word, ‘tax’. My question also seemed to annoy him.

Nice newer place situated closer to the bird sighting hot spots than most other hotels. The best thing I can say about the breakfast is they have a pancake-making machine that makes pretty good pancakes.

I had a meh experience here, and the worst night sleep of my life. The hot tub was nice though. Breakfast hot items were awful. Just eat the oatmeal, and pancakes.
