We were not informed that there was renovations happening at this hotel. The pool and the fitness center was closed and the lobby was very dirty with construction dust. My 3rd floor room was very clean and had all that we needed.

I traveled quite far to get to the hotel and to meet customers in the lobby. Upon arriving, there was an issue with the computer and getting a room key. I had reservations through Expedia already but could not secure the room with this. The person at the counter finally managed to get me checked in as a newly walk in. Also the internet was not functional. I was here on business and meeting clients but checking in took over 20 mins and then no internet. This was a "not good" experience. I'm still working in the area, but checking out today and will go to another hotel.

We stayed over the Christmas holiday. The facility was clean even though they were short staffed because of the bad weather. They managed to take care of everyone even though they were booked solid. I was disappointed that the pool was not up, but I understand it needed to be fixed. I wish that had been posted that it would be under construction.

Internet did not work properly. Water in swimming pool was really too cold to swim in. Some of the electrical outlets in the room did not work. Staff was very helpful in getting an error in the room scheduling corrected.

Check in attendant was not very friendly. Did not mention breakfast times just handed room key and said second floor. Tv only had 5 channels with basically nothing on them. Not a smart TV so I couldn’t even access my Netflix. Breakfast the vanilla waffle mix side was broken so as soon as I pressed it it overflowed the cup. The middle cereal dispenser was broken I turned the knob once and half the cereal fell out all over the counter. Beds were comfy as well as the pillows. Indoor Pool closed due to construction. Convenient area but pricier than most of the same brands in area.

Very enjoyable stay. Everyone was very helpful. I am on oxygen 24/7 and had been booked on upper floor,the elevator has been out for about 1-2 weeks as yhey can get someone to fix it,SO the gal at the desk put on the ground floor. Thank God. She was very helpful. The gal in the morning when we check out was also running the breakfast.Either someone didn't show up for work or YOU are very short handed. She was also very charming to be over loaded with extra jobs to do. The rehab that is going on causes a little mess but that is just the way it is when you do this kind of work. We stayed inthe Hampton a couple of weeks ago and will be back on our next trip to North Carolina.

The staff was very friendly. Our room was not clean. We don't mind a dated decor, but it does need to be cleaned. The floor we were on was so stinky in the hallway. This may sound petty, but there was only one half used toilet paper roll in the bathroom. The last things are that the entry door on the side of the hotel did not latch which means it did not lock. The room did not have a safety latch on the door

A lot of renovations going on. Pool was closed. Breakfast was sus. My very questionable oatmeal had a hair entangles so deeply if was impossible to notice until it was too late. Wasn't expecting this from a Hilton.

The breakfast did not stay cooked and ready to eat. We had to ask for the cooked food, then waited till it was ready. The neighboring room had TV so loud and blasting we couldn’t sleep. At 11:00 pm we asked the desk clerk to ask them to turn it down. Finally, they lowered the volume but it was still like their TV was in our room. Not a good stay. Hotel needed a good cleaning .

We were given a room near the front desk where the phone was ringing on a regular basis, making it difficult to sleep. When we asked the desk person if we could get a different room, he said we were out of luck because we booked through Hotels.com. It wasn't until we made him call his manager that we at least got a loud fan (for white noise) so we could sleep through the night. This experience left us with a very negative feeling toward the Hampton Inn brand. We've had good experiences with several Hampton Inns, but this has left us thinking the Brand is not reliable.

The hotel itself and the staff were very nice. My bed, however, was extremely hard and uncomfortable. I recently had knee surgery, and could not find one spot on the bed that didn't hit all my pressure points. I could only get an hour or two of sleep at a time, and kept waking up. It felt like I was sleeping on a slab of granite. For that reason alone I would rate my stay only "Okay."

The air conditioner was not working right. Didn't cool down the room and banged every time it kicked on & off( which was about every 15-20 mins. The night shift guy on duty didnt do anything to help us. The bed was really hard.

At check out, person worked at lobby demanded to see proof of my service animal. This is a violation of ADA law. I showed him the ID and told him was in violation of the ADA law. I was cursed at and told that I was racist.

I had called the day before my stay to confirm the reservation and request late arrival since we would check in after a local concert. When I arrived the Hampton had canceled my reservation and gave my room away with no attempt to contact me. Apparently the hotel was sold out. I guess Hampton makes more money if a room is booked outside of Expedia So they cancel your room at will! They kept saying it was Expedia’s fault. I disagree this was ALL on Hampton. As a Hilton honors member. After this experience I am done with them. If you can’t trust that your reservation is safe then it’s time to find a hotel that you can.

2 rooms werent ready until 8 pm....we had booked 3 seperate rooms . We left 1 one to go to dinner at 8 when we finally got in n when we came back our key didnt work n there was other people in it! The front desk had rented it to another family....so we ended with only 2 rooms, not enough beds, had to sleep on floor.

It was our first time traveling with our dog and they allow dogs. I didn't find the dog area until the next morning. Husband didn't think to ask where to walk the dog the night before and it wasn't offered. It's set back off main road so we didn't notice much of the semi traffic near-by. Off US 35 and I-71 inter change. Best because of Starbucks offering right down the way! Easy food options/gas before continuing on journey. We hadn't noticed the property for 16 years of traveling but now we are breaking up travel times and this is very convenient.

Property was convenient to the Robert Centre for the three day bluegrass festival. It was clean, modern and comfortable. Steven took excellent care of us! I would not hesitate to book again at this hotel. It was a very enjoyable trip.
