The outdoor space was lovely, but repairs and upkeep much needed. Loose pavers around the pool. Dirty bandaid next to the hot tub for 5 days. Mold and water damage in our bathroom and around windows inside of our room.. We had to search out housekeeping to provide an adequate number of towels ( we were provided 2 for 4 people ) and toilet tissue. It was comfortable and adequate for our needs, but definitely overrated.

This is a really nice hotel at a reasonable price, centrally located. They have free shuttles to Univeral and Disney, but not Sea World. Parking is $35 a day. Great location for easy access to restaurants and other attractions like Ripley's and Wonder Works. We loved the general feel of the hotel, and enjoyed the glass elevators in the Atrium section. There are nearby elevators that are fully enclosed for those that don't like the glass type.

This property was without AC for the 2 nights we stayed. Their business center was not functioning either. They had a pool side food truck that was not functioning. They did not clean our room they only made the beds and left limited number of towels. I had to wait hours for bedding for the pull-out sofa and finally went to the front desk to speak to a manager (the only competent staff) to get what I needed. They don't pick up the phones. No room service. I would not book again.

Easy check in, great parking, near everything you want or need. The pool area and hot tub are a great area to relax after being at the parks all day. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were great! Definitely the new spot to stay when I'm in Orlando.

The hotel has beautiful grounds, I just wish the rooms were a little cleaner. I notice the bathroom shower and bathroom wall could have been cleaner. I had to ask for housekeeping to come and clean the room. After being gone for over 5 hours btw. When someone did come she only made the bed and took out the trash all of which we had already sat by the door. She didn’t clean, she took the dirty towel but didn’t leave clean towels. While the Wi-Fi was included unfortunately it hardly ever worked.

Upon arrival, the hotel is very nice. I was given an accessible room (not requested). Because of this, showers were very uncomfortable. Felt like a college dorm shower room shower. I was given stained towels. Some days things would be moved or replaced but other days they were not. The lobby was nicer than the room. Air conditioner is right next to the bed and extremely loud. Not very user friendly either.

My family and I stayed at Hotel Landy, and although the staff was very kind and courteous during our stay, unfortunately the room was very disappointing. The carpet was dirty and stained, there were coffee capsules but no coffee maker, the electrical outlet was broken, and the ironing board had no iron. The air conditioning unit area was filled with trash, and the door had no latch, which made us feel unsafe. Overall, it felt like an incomplete or poorly prepared room, as if no one had taken the time to check that everything was in order before assigning it to us. Additionally, we were supposedly given complimentary welcome drink cards, each valued at $15. We were told they were free, but later found out they were actually charged to our credit card, which was frustrating and misleading. While we truly appreciated the staff's kindness, the condition of the room and the confusion over charges did not meet even the most basic expectations for cleanliness, transparency, and service. I hope management takes these comments seriously and makes the necessary improvements.

As a frequent traveler averaging 100 nights a year in a hotel I consider myself to be very fortunate and also a fairly good critic who is fair when asked to evaluate a property. So, here is mine on my recent 2 night stay. Upon arrival I was greeted at check and given an early check in because I am an elite member with Marriott. I only share that because if I was not I would have been charged to enter the room early. However, it was 2 pm already and I would have not paid for an early arrival. The room was ok. There was obviously places on the carpet where they had not vacuumed in quite a while. There were glass coffee cups and when I picked one up you could see the cup was dirty from the last person because coffee and ran down the sides of the cup. The condiments in the room had not been replenished. The water pressure was extremely low. Which really annoys me. For those of you who say conserve water. I am not asking for a water fall, but I don't want to have to run around in the shower to get wet. My biggest complaint with the room is that the tv was not a smart tv. I mean, come on, this is the 21 century. Not to mention the wifi was very slow. I had to call down to guest services the following late afternoon to ask for clean towels. Cleaning service never came that day. After calling multiple times they finally brought some clean towels. Rap music was so loud in the lobby you couldn't hear anyone talking. Don't stay here! I do not recommend this property.

We found bedbugs in our bed. They did immediately offer a refund and responded with giving us a new room, where we discovered them again. Moved to a much better hotel and had a great three day stay. But it was a stressful few hours to get someplace with clean accommodations.

Really enjoyed our stay. The food in the restaurant is good and tasty. A bit chilly in the reception and dining area. But overall nice. The room was big and clean. Only really disadvantage is that you are not able to open a window for some fresh air. So the room got really hot and moist. The air conditioning was not helping. So sometimes we had the door to the corridor opened, to get a bit of 'fresh air' in the room.

Best value we’ve seen in a long time for a theme park area hotel. Clean spacious rooms (we had 2) with a tub!! Friendly staff. Crisply cleaned. Glad we followed previous reviews to find this gem. Only drawback was the limited shuttle to Universal. But resolved with a $12 Uber ride.

Cute decor. Convenient location. Pool is nice. Owen at the front desk was veey polite and welcoming. AC inconsistent throughout the whole building. The hallways are so hot. I was excited about the arcade until i stepped in there and realized why it was empty, so humid in there! And the games arent free. The cute outdoor plaza area with the heavily promoted lemonade food truck/bar—didnt see it open once in a 4 day stay. TVs are not smart tvs. No netflix or casting capabilities or HDMI cable at least. Room had a smell and also inconsistent AC.

Easy reservation process through hotels.com. The Landy staff was very cordial and professional in addressing an issue I had with the room condition. I was compensated for this inconvenience by waving parking fees. Location to local facilities and France was very convenient. + A trolley line service stop nearby making the journey to Orange County Convention Center parking fees free as well.

Hotel Landy this beautifully decorated and very clean. Lots of staff on hand cleaning and picking up after the guests. We were greeted with a smile and by Tiffany at the front desk who has such a nice disposition. We were celebrating our 40th anniversary and her partner at the front desk offered and got us a glass of champagne, that was so nice!! Our room was very nice and clean with a nice pool side view. The bed was so comfy I wanted to take it home with me. Breakfast in the morning was very good as was the service. Thank you Hotel Landy we will be back!!

This hotel is definitely not a 4-star experience! When I checked in at 10 PM on a Saturday, I was told there was no hot water until Tuesday. I was given the option to stay or find another hotel and contact Expedia for a full refund. I asked why no one informed me ahead of time, and they said it was because I booked through a third party and they didn’t have my information. That’s completely unacceptable. Hot water is a basic need, and any responsible hotel would make sure guests are notified in advance, regardless of how the booking was made. Since it was late and we had already bought groceries, my friend and I decided to stay. But things only got worse. When we got to our room, the shower head didn’t even work. We were moved to another room (supposedly the last room available) and had to unpack and settle in all over again. Then we discovered the room lock didn’t work. We gave up at that point, since it required a key card to open and we had early plans, but it was still very upsetting. On Tuesday, we finally got to enjoy one day of hot water. The next morning, we ran out of toilet paper. I called the front desk and waited 30 minutes, but no one showed up. On my way to follow up, I ran into a housekeeper and thankfully she helped. Still, the fact that the front desk forgot the request was frustrating. To be fair, some of the staff were friendly, but overall, I won’t be returning. I’ve stayed in 3-star hotels and other 4-star hotels that were far better than this.

Hotel Landy was a dream. We came here for our honeymoon, and we were treated with such kindness and care. We truly loved our receptionist Adrian who was so attentive to each of our needs. Adrian please keep making people’s stays unforgettable Our Junior Suite was extremely comfortable and had a great view of Universal. I would highly recommend Landy to any couple looking to relax and have fun at Universal as well. 10/10 Our only gripe was that parking was a bit expensive per night, and is not included with the room. The breakfast option at the hotel was also very good and the cafe staff were also super friendly. Other than that , we hope to return to Landy soon. The hotel itself is also gorgeous

The check in process would have been a better experience if it had been a kiosk instead of the person that was behind the counter. Not friendly or did he even smile and welcome me as a guest. My booking online was paid for but had received an email about additional charges such as paying for parking which should be included in any stay. The process of paying for parking was described vaguely and now I have paid double for a parking pass that was only needed for 1 vehicle for 1 night. There is no customer service to call and ask for a reversal in the extra charge. You enter your plate number and they should be able to verify that 1 plate equals 1 parking charge. In addition to the $100 deposit put down for the room I have ended up paying double what was advertised online. I’ll stay at a resort next time that has everything included in one price without any extra expenses. Still waiting to see if the deposit is credited and the extra parking charge. The room was just okay for cleanliness. There were smudges on the tabletop that could have easily been wiped away with a cleaner. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for anyone in the future.

My hotel stay was beyond great. The hotel accommodated my early arrival with a complimentary early check in & my son was greeted with milk & cookies for his birthday. My entire stay staff members checked to make sure everything was going well. The pool area is nice with chairs, cabanas & umbrellas. I absolutely loved the “Liquid Sunshine” food truck & the great customer service. The lobby area is nice & it has a Starbucks for the coffee lovers. There’s a store (alcohol) at the end of the block & a gas station across from the store. Universal & Fun Spot is nearby & the hotel offers free shuttle service to Universal Studios. I would definitely come back & also recommend to others.

Food was amazing at the bar. The gracious host at the counter was absolutely fabulous!! She made us feel welcoming and offered free drinks and discounts. Bed was comfortable, atmosphere extremely pleasant. Nice pool area. Highly recommend!!

When I bought the package it said “Breakfast Included” and I paid for it. However in the hotel they gave me a voucher of $23 dollars per person and it was impossible to eat in the cafeteria with that money so I ended up paying more every day. To me it is a scam, and I don’t like it!

I like the hotel,even though they don't offer free breakfast. You have to pre pay. The breakfast choice was limited , and not that great. The housekeeping did not such a good job they kept leaving only one wash cloth for me and my other guest. Upon check out , the receptionist ask if she could email me a receipt or print it out Luckily i ask for both, because they charged me 106.00 dollars for parking, when i didn't even have a car. I literally returned back inside and ask why was i charged for parking, the receptionist had the nerve to say" oh yea I seen that. So what the hell lady you was going to rip me off. Also if you bring food from outside and want to heat it up, there is literally no microwave in the huge hotel for usage. Overall the pool area was ok. Not a big deal to stay here. I would next time do my due diligence and research a better hotel to stay at.
