Amina at the front desk was outstanding. She helped me check in earlier and was accommodating with anything my son and I needed. The rooms and pool were clean, the hot tub came in handy after a long day at the theme park. The shuttles to the park was the main reason why I booked here, however the times were either too early or too late so wind up taking Uber, good thing it wasn't too expensive because of the close proximity. I do recommend updating their furniture though. Other than that it was a decent stay for a weekend trip.

Fair price for the accommodations. Located close to many shops, restaurants and attractions. Rooms weren’t the cleanest but linens did smell like bleach… which I appreciated. The drains would emit sewage stench. Suites that sleep 5 should be equipped with enough supplies for 5 people. Eg. Shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper and towels. Staff was friendly and prompt when you did request extra supplies. Pool area would run out of towels daily, but the pool area was a nice place to spend time. Would have liked to have a place to sit and relax in the room other than on the beds. (Couch was a bed for us)…. No chairs. Shuttle to Universal was appreciated however upon checkin we were told you no longer need to make a reservation but the bus driver asked for reservations. We were still allowed on the bus but maybe make a reservation to be on the safe side. Plenty of free parking by your room. A/c cooled but didn’t help with humidity. Minor inconveniences were very little counter space for toiletries, no hook in the bathroom for clothes. A broken hinge on the bathroom door, that made it difficult to close. No place to hang up wet bathing suits. Gift shop was convenient and fairly priced.

Great location for Universal Trips. A quick walk to the outlet mall. Hotel room was quiet and great pool. Shuttle for Universal was limited and the rooms could use a slight update but overall very happy.

The staff overall was wonderful. They try really hard to make your stay comfortable. They held our luggage for almost the entire day while we went to Universal. Everything was right where we left it. The hotel is older, more of a motel, but was kept clean. The pool was fantastic! I would stay here just for the wonderful pool. Now for the couple of things I was a little disappointed with. On the door the gym is listed as opening at 6 AM. I set my alarm nice and early and headed over to the gym. Unfortunately, it was locked. I went up to the front desk and was told it doesn’t open until 8 AM. I basically begged and begged and he said there was nothing he could do. I came across another staff member who was wonderful enough to open the gym for me. The gym was barely air conditioned, and all the equipment is super old. The bike was missing all the knobs needed to adjust the seat and one of the pedal cages. It had all the basic weight and a couple of treadmills. That is probably the one part I was most disappointed in. They have a really nice Indian restaurant that has Thai food as well. We were so excited to go eat there, but Unfortunately, it closes between lunch and dinner. The little café inside the hotel is quite convenient and nice. The prices aren’t bad either. Overall great stay here. Very happy and would stay here again due to the excellent pricing.

Found the motel was aged and of run down. Vinyl flooring in our room was very dirty and looked to not have been cleaned very well. As well the toilet ran through out the night to fill the tank while trying to sleep.

Very neglected rooms. The feont door looks like it had been broken into. The bathroom door you have to push hard to close (noisy when people are trying to sleep). The shower on/off nozzle is broken the drain is detached. The water pressure was great. The beds are fairly comfortable. The floors were dirty/sandy.

One of the best properties I've stayed at. Everything is updated and in excellent condition. The room was sanitized and clean. The garden area is beautiful, pool is large and well kept.Checking in was easy and everyone we dealt with was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. A great place to stay and would definitely come back.

The property photos highlight the lobby which is nice. The room however was dingy, dark with limited amenities. The front door (which does not close properly) leads directly outside and at midnight the sprinklers go off so loudly that it sounded like someone was taking a shower. They must know that this is the case! We got this room as it looked so much better online and had two rooms which is listed as a suite. The poorly stocked gym with broken and dilapidated equipment apparently does not open until 8am even though the signage states 0600. When I arrived at 0700 to workout everything was locked and when I asked the front desk she said she think is it opens at am8 and she saw someone go in at 8 the day before. At 8 I came back to the gym, still locked, the maintenance man had to open it as the doors are broken. The fridge is tiny and fits nothing. No microwave in the room. I felt like a giant in the shower as it was so small and I am short. The tub was also stained dirty and I know this as I bought tub cleaner to try to clean it and could not. The drain wouldn’t drain so we had to call maintenance to come to clear it and a huge disgusting hair ball was removed and he put it in the trash in our room and left. We stayed 5 nights and asked to have the room cleaned on day 3, 2 beds were made out of 3, towels were placed but no washcloths and no toilet paper. The only good thing is free parking and close to the parks. I won’t be staying here again.

Everything was great! The room was clean and everything worked well. I love the larger shampoo/conditioner/lotion attached to the wall. The beds are very firm, so if you prefer that, you'll love this. Close enough to Universal Studios to walk to (about a mile).

The entire place was clean and welcoming. From the lobby to the restaurant and cafe, to the room. Staff was very nice and helpful. The food at the hotel was great! The indian coffee was delicious. Very close walk to Universal and a few other places to eat. I would defiantly stay here again over the near by hotels.

Bed was very uncomfortable. Lumpy pillows. Bathroom fan was so loud. Only options for AC was on or off. Given a room in back of hotel next to very noisy highway. Long black hair came out of “new” and supposedly clean towel.

It is conveniently located for Universal. However, the door to enter the room was clearly broken into. You could see where a crowbar was used to pry it open. The other room had a hole where a lock once was. I was glad it was not just me and my daughter because I would not have stayed.

Overall our stay was fine. We were in the separate building from the main hotel and it was extremely loud. Felt like the walls were paper thin. Beds were not comfortable either. The staff was good and hotel was clean but do not recommend if you’re looking for a quiet spot.

The staff was super friendly open arrival. The room was clean and ready to go. We walked to Universal each day, but there is a shuttle. The free parking at the hotel is a huge plus. They have a little place to eat and get water. I would highly recommend staying here. I gave it a good overall instead of excellent because the walls are thin and if you have loud neighbors, you hear everything.

While the hotel is older, the room was very clean and the linens were clean and soft towels. Only thing I missed was having a chair to sit on. Door sticks and needs to be looked at, had some difficulty opening the door each time I used the pass card.

Amina at the front desk was outstanding. She helped me check in earlier and was accommodating with anything my son and I needed. The rooms and pool were clean, the hot tub came in handy after a long day at the theme park. The shuttles to the park was the main reason why I booked here, however the times were either too early or too late so wind up taking Uber, good thing it wasn't too expensive because of the close proximity. I do recommend updating their furniture though. Other than that it was a decent stay for a weekend trip.

Couldn’t check-in till 2 hours passed check-in. I called the front desk to try get them to do something to make it right and they hung up on me and never called back. Service at the cafe was horrible and I seen a roach crawl by while I was waiting on my food.

The two gentlemen at the check-in counter went above and beyond to accommodate a unique request for us. I loved the proximity to universal as it was actually cheaper to Uber to the park than pay parking!

I made a reservation at this property, but when I arrived to check in, they took my deposit, I did the paperwork and when the front desk asked for my ID and saw that I was a orlando Florida resident, he would not allow me to check in and told me that this property does not take Orlando residence. That they only rent their hotel out to people that are out of state and are not from Orlando that are 50 miles away. I asked Why didn’t no one tell me that when I made the reservation and I asked to get my money back and they said no!

During check-in around 11 AM, the front desk receptionist was extremely rude. He didn’t greet us, seemed annoyed the entire time, and responded to basic questions with attitude. When my wife asked about the pool hours, he snapped that it was “on the paper” and then told us the pool was closed and that if we went after hours we’d be charged—followed by the inappropriate remark, “which I don’t think you can afford.” This level of disrespect was shocking and completely unacceptable.

The only downside that I experienced here is the terrible customer service experienced that I received from the guy in the registration desk early morning. I went to ask a question about check-out procedure and he told me to wait for the next person in-charge to ask my question. What the heck! He can answer the question himself but instead he told me to wait for the next person in-charge that morning. I understand that he might be tired working all night and don’t want to answer my question, however, his response is terrible.

Very close to Universal Resort Orlando. Roughly 30 mins walk (not 11 minutes) as advertised on their postings. Although, there's a shuttle to/from Hotel vv Universal on a scheduled basis. There's nearby 7/11, McDonalds, Pharmacy,Restaurant, outlet. Bus stop is very close and will take you to closer attractions.

I stay at this hotel *every year* when I go to HHN. It is incredibly close to Universal. Rooms are consistently clean, the beds and pillows are very comfortable, and the service is excellent. I love the new cafe they opened in the lobby building which is conveniently open from 6am - midnight every day. Breakfast was fantastic! I never have an issue finding a parking spot. I never have an issue with noisy neighbors. I will continue coming to my second "home" every year!

If you want to the clean your own room, take out your own trash, then yes make reservation. Breakfast is15% off your price, so no free breakfast. The rooms are too dark. The good thing about this hotel is that it is in walking distant of Universal Theme Park.

The staff overall was wonderful. They try really hard to make your stay comfortable. They held our luggage for almost the entire day while we went to Universal. Everything was right where we left it. The hotel is older, more of a motel, but was kept clean. The pool was fantastic! I would stay here just for the wonderful pool. Now for the couple of things I was a little disappointed with. On the door the gym is listed as opening at 6 AM. I set my alarm nice and early and headed over to the gym. Unfortunately, it was locked. I went up to the front desk and was told it doesn’t open until 8 AM. I basically begged and begged and he said there was nothing he could do. I came across another staff member who was wonderful enough to open the gym for me. The gym was barely air conditioned, and all the equipment is super old. The bike was missing all the knobs needed to adjust the seat and one of the pedal cages. It had all the basic weight and a couple of treadmills. That is probably the one part I was most disappointed in. They have a really nice Indian restaurant that has Thai food as well. We were so excited to go eat there, but Unfortunately, it closes between lunch and dinner. The little café inside the hotel is quite convenient and nice. The prices aren’t bad either. Overall great stay here. Very happy and would stay here again due to the excellent pricing.

We stayed here for one night and it was a nice experience. The room was clean, there were 2 beds available with a pull out couch in a separate room which was a plus for us. There was a small table with two chairs and a mini fridge, there was no microwave however. The air conditioning was perfectly cool and had the button to adjust how cool you want it. The bathroom was quite small but not super small where you can’t use it. We had a good experience overall, there were places nearby to eat and it was close to Universal Studios.
