I' arrived a half hour early for check-in. There were about 20 or so people in line. Took 45 minutes to get checked in. From check in you go to concierge desk for parking passes. Little annoying they can't give them to you at registration desk. Our room was very clean and a great location right next to the waterpark. Rooms are spacious and spread out. We had the 2-bedroom villa with 2 bathrooms. We spent the day Saturday at the waterpark which was very nice. The wave pool was a hit also. We went to the arcade and bowling alley which was a great time as well. Sunday, we played the complimentary 18-hole miniature golf which was very fun. We ate at drafts restaurant at the pavilion which has very good food on Saturday and then Sunday we tried the pizza place. Very good as well. Lots to do there and wish we would have had at least one more night. It was a very nice getaway and will go again in the near future.

Beautiful property and suite with lots of pools and everything you could use or need inside the room. A little dated but It was huge with a washer and dryer which was very convenient. Great location. Near many shops, restaurants and highways. I didn't like that the toilet clogged daily. The bathroom was Dirty with someone's hair in it. Waterpark is expensive and should be free or included in The resort fee and if it rains or thunders they shut down and you get no money back. Which of course happened. You should at least get a credit to come back. Front desk staff were great with the exception of the Starbucks lady who was not friendly and does not dare make your coffee not like a traditional Starbucks. No instructions as to what to do with trash. Overall a very nice property nice staff and a few things to consider working on.

The property is nice. However, they should not charge for the water park. Since it is minimal, it should either be included for free with the stay or have a one-time charge for the duration of the visit. The staff were very friendly, and the grounds were well-maintained.

I loved my stay for my birthday! Went to the serenity spa for a massage and it was lovely. Ask for Suki! The only complaint I have is that the none of the bars to the pools were open at all and we were there for 3 nights. But other than that, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend and come back again! Loved the jacuzzi tub as well

We had a long day of travel and didn't arrive until about 6pm. staying at a resort with several pools our plan was to just go to the pool and hang out and have a couple drinks. There was some bad weather that closed to pool after we had been there about 5 min. Understand swimming and lightning don't mix but the bar was also closed?? The next day we went back to the pool bar was still closed again and was never open the whole time. We checked 2 other pools and never seen any stuff serving drinks. Kinda makes having nice pools and bars pointless if they are not open, very disappointed. Most people hang at the pool and have some drinks on vacation at a resort don't they? Yhries a couple vending machines too and lots out money both times! Hotel lobby basically told us to go to hell and they didn't have anything to do with there own machines?? 1st night we spent in a hot room with no a/c. Went to the store to buy a 12 of Miller light and some apple juice for my daughter and it was $40 dollars! $33 for the beer and $6 far a small 20oz apple juice. Also, house keeping told us they do not clean the rooms or change the beds....at side bristol the lady there was behind the counter with her phone on talking to someone on speaker full blast and dropping several f homes and b bomps with my 7 year old daughter standing behind me, no very professional. Overall disappointed in the staffing , service and quality.

Property was great only reason it wasn’t a 5 star review is they have early closings of waterpark and bars. The place could really be better about providing times for all amenities without having to go to them. That being said the staff is friendly room was very nice and family friendly things to do. We will definitely be back!

They had shuttle services to get from the room to amenities areas. I’ve sat there for 1.5 hours 3 times waiting on the shuttles was pasted up several times. Called the front desk several times telling them about the problems and situation i was having. so imagine sitting out in the scorching sun beaming on you for over an hour waiting for a shuttle they said comes every 15 minutes.

The staff were very friendly and were always cleaning! Nice variety of pools. Restaurant on site had good food and the pizza parlor was delicious as well. Ice cream parlor was yummy. Kids spent a lot of time in the game room as well. Water park was fun and clean. You must pay to use it though so we only went 1 day. We could not find the volleyball court. There seemed to be a lot of security around the premises which was nice. I went to see the gym but did not use it. It was large, open, bright and clean.

i loved the spacious room i disliked the cleanliness of the bathroom, the hot tub was really filthy i personally had to clean it. several times before using it. Always had a hard time finding a parking spot, we were not told about shuttles taking us to our room or car in case we parked far.

The common areas of the property were well maintained I stayed in an “upgraded” room bd the room wasn’t up to par I had big roaches in there under the bed was filthy and when I called to have these things addressed they tried to charge me for them to come clean it up I would not ever go back or recommend.

The first room they gave us had a leak in the shower ceiling they did move us. But the next room bathtub was very dirty and hair all over the pantry door. The handle into the main bathroom fell out and we had to stuff it with a towel. Showers were dirty. We would have said something but we were already unpacked and felt it wasn’t going to get better. The rooms definitely need updated. The pools were nice. We won’t stay there again. With the amount of money it cost

We stayed in a one bedroom and it was terrible. There was nowhere to put our luggage. There was a gross broom, mop, and plunger in the room as if we were time share guests who would be cleaning ourselves. The shower door didn’t seal, so anytime the shower was used it flooded the bathroom floor. The toilet seat was broken and there was a screw sticking out of the bathroom pocket door which caused it to get stuck and not close. Anytime we called for assistance or concerns they were not helpful. If you’re looking for a vacation hotel stay, skip this one.

All of the staff members were so nice even through when checking in the clerk really could not understand me because english was not her first language. I was very unhappy about the extra $29 or $39 for the resort amenities that I was not told about and did not use. Also, we had a little visitor (a roach) that I was not happy with at all. but the maintenance men came in a sprayed very quickly.

I got there at around 12am. I wasn't able to get to my room until 1:30. It takes them a very very long time to check people in. My keys initially did not work. guy at front desk was talking to his and ignored me. I flagged down another employee to get him to give me new keys. The was other people's hair all over the bathroom. The shower had some type of gross slippy dirty on the groud

Room smelled a littlw damp but not enough for me to be overly concerned about it. Tv set up dated (non smart tvs) staff was amazing and attentive. Will visit again. I didnt explore the property enougg as i had a bunch of things to do away from the resort. My next stay will be longer so i can experience more of what they have to offer.

My family loved this place! So clean and well Kept! Only thing that was annoying was only one elevator was working in the building that we stayed. Also the WiFi connection was terrible…it kept dropping. Other than that awesome experience!

This property has several good things about it that might appeal to families: -Seven clean pools, one featuring a mini water park -Daily and nightly activities -A nice spa with reasonable prices (for a resort) -Transportation around the property and to and from Universal -Friendly staff who try to get you what you need when asked -Gated entrance; secure feeling overall -A decent market -Kitchenettes within the rooms -Clean rooms and bathrooms The not-so-good: Very noisy! I was assigned a B room on the third level in section 2100. The A room next door must have had ten people in & out at all hours, shouting and never mindful of others. The pools had kids screaming all day and most of the night, and the walls were so thin that every scream could be heard. Lots of dogs. -Rooms were clean but basic and somewhat outdated, like what one might find at a Quality Inn or Red Roof Inn, for example. Not exactly a “resort” feel. -THIS IS A TIMESHARE RESORT! Attempts will be made to get you to attend their presentations, such as gift cards, free meals, and Universal Studios park tickets offers. But when I declined, they DID respect my answer and didn’t hound me. There needs to be another option for breakfast, at least…perhaps a diner. The breakfast onsite is a walk up and order reheated food from a very limited menu. They DO have Starbucks coffee, but they don’t take payment through the Starbucks app. -There is no daily housekeeping; they WILL replenish towels & collect trash however

We were hoping for a quieter location, all the building faced community use pools which were loud all day until 11pm. The room had a working Jacuzzi that we enjoyed. The coffee maker had no supplies like filter or sweetener/ creamer, so it was pretty useless. The mini fridge/freezer barely worked. It took 2 days for waters to chill and the ice tray never froze. Besides those 3 points; we really enjoyed the room and resort. It had a lot of built in shops and restaurants which were convenient. We took advantage of the spa for a couples massage. The grounds were kept very clean.

The property was okay, but there was not much to do, pools were boring No music, with 7 poolside and only 1 had the bar open.. The little island did not have the hammocks up, which I was looking forward to. AC in the room was not working properly And the neighbors we had were slamming their door almost all night which made it irritating.

Westgate is always great. My only issue was that none of the spas were working in the rooms I booked. I had to move twice due to hot tub not working and finally was upgraded to two-bedroom, and spa was running well other than weak jets. Otherwise, great space. Does not have smart TVs.

They tried to sell us a timeshare in the beginning. Wasn’t expecting that. Our room was very far away from anything and that was tough with little kids. Would have paid more for something closer the property is very big. Cockroaches in the room on the last night was disappointing and the room was outdated/rough in spots (I.e light bulbs need replace do etc). All in all I would say our visit was ok till the end. This place was safe and quiet so we liked that. But will not consider this report in the future.

I' arrived a half hour early for check-in. There were about 20 or so people in line. Took 45 minutes to get checked in. From check in you go to concierge desk for parking passes. Little annoying they can't give them to you at registration desk. Our room was very clean and a great location right next to the waterpark. Rooms are spacious and spread out. We had the 2-bedroom villa with 2 bathrooms. We spent the day Saturday at the waterpark which was very nice. The wave pool was a hit also. We went to the arcade and bowling alley which was a great time as well. Sunday, we played the complimentary 18-hole miniature golf which was very fun. We ate at drafts restaurant at the pavilion which has very good food on Saturday and then Sunday we tried the pizza place. Very good as well. Lots to do there and wish we would have had at least one more night. It was a very nice getaway and will go again in the near future.

Just a heads up they will try to sell you a time share and they are slick with it. They swoop you from station to station in the lobby, secure a $20 deposit to “hold” your spot and your promised $125 cash for 90 minutes of your time. Well 3 hours later and telling them no multiple time I was finally able to leave. Started out with an offer of a 2 bedroom we could use 4 weeks out of the year for $40,000 and $5,000 down not including the $1,600 in maintenance fees. Long story short I was offered a 3 bedroom for $19,000 and zero down plus $1600 in maintenance fees every other year but I was only able to use half the unit 4 time one year and none the next or split it up and use half this year and the other half next year. Such a racket, be prepared when you get there. Oh and by the way, it’s not cash, they give you a gift card for the $125 that says it’s already activated when you open it and the expiration date only has a few months left. The property is quiet and safe, it’s kind of a pain to get to some of the amenities. The “water park” is nice if you have children, not much for just adults to do. The pizza place and the ice cream place are the best food, Drafts was mediocre and the service was horrible. All in all I will not be staying here again and don’t really recommend it.

We had a long day of travel and didn't arrive until about 6pm. staying at a resort with several pools our plan was to just go to the pool and hang out and have a couple drinks. There was some bad weather that closed to pool after we had been there about 5 min. Understand swimming and lightning don't mix but the bar was also closed?? The next day we went back to the pool bar was still closed again and was never open the whole time. We checked 2 other pools and never seen any stuff serving drinks. Kinda makes having nice pools and bars pointless if they are not open, very disappointed. Most people hang at the pool and have some drinks on vacation at a resort don't they? Yhries a couple vending machines too and lots out money both times! Hotel lobby basically told us to go to hell and they didn't have anything to do with there own machines?? 1st night we spent in a hot room with no a/c. Went to the store to buy a 12 of Miller light and some apple juice for my daughter and it was $40 dollars! $33 for the beer and $6 far a small 20oz apple juice. Also, house keeping told us they do not clean the rooms or change the beds....at side bristol the lady there was behind the counter with her phone on talking to someone on speaker full blast and dropping several f homes and b bomps with my 7 year old daughter standing behind me, no very professional. Overall disappointed in the staffing , service and quality.

Asked for a toothpaste since we forgot ours and laugh at our face, said wait for next day and go buy one. Will not recommend thia place or stay again. They sid not clean our room nor clean towels for the entire stay.

This place is massive and extremely inefficiently run if you want to stay there on a business trip. Check in was 45 mins, then they took me to the concierge where they were trying to sell people time shares. They wouldn’t give me a map, just called some guy over who wanted all my information after checking in. I went rogue and just started to walk to find my room which was like a half mile away in the sweaty Orlando heat. I finally got to my room an hour after first arriving at the hotel. They will not let Ubers into the compound half the time. Then if you drive in with a friend they need the friends drivers license scanned and a picture of the license plate. This backs up traffic and adds time waste. Horrible experience for a business trip. If you are retired and want to waste time, this might be a good place for you.

I booked based on the convenient location to the Orange County Convention Center and its comparatively very affordable rate. This resort is an absolute hidden gem! Gated, large, TONS of amenities, free parking (non parking deck) and very convenient location to the Conv. Center and both Disney and Universal, Seaworld too! This is essentially an all inclusive resort (everything you could need is literally here) in the midst of Orlando. There was absolutely no pressure or sales pitches, and it is an overall 4.5 star resort. Food was excellent, service was excellent, very secure and safe, and location and price are ideal. Half star deducted only because it ciuld use a quick updating and the studio villa i rented had a slight musty smell. I will stay here again no questions on my next Orlando trip.

I love that there were like 7 pools there. That the property was close to Walmarts and a lot of restaurants. It was less than 10 minutes from Universal Studio and 20 mins from Magic Kingdom.

Loved the location to the Orlando Convention Center and Disney Springs. 10-15 minutes to either. Would have given 5 stars but we had barking dogs beside us that barked for 4 hours straight. When we did call security the first night they came right away; no security showed up the second night. It would be nice if rooms with animals were all located in a separate building. Meals were reasonably priced at Drafts Sports Bar. A 16oz alcoholic beverage was $18.99 so felt they were very proud of their drinks 😉 The water park was great for kids and adults alike. Loved the lazy river. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would come back.

Customer service was amazing however our first night we had a room with a broken ac.(it happens) They moved us to a different room around 12am. New room was sufficient. Jetted tub was a plus.The balcony door was broke and wouldn’t lock. Just needs a little updating. The food on site was great (drafts sports bar) the pools were clean and over all we enjoyed our stay. We will return.

I was extremely comfortable here, and I enjoyed the pool variety and the affordable waterpark. The rooms were nice and clean and so comfortable. I’m vegan and I did manage finding things to eat although it could’ve been a little bit better and the price is in the grocery store were a little high. But I guess you have to pay for a great time. Beautiful property and suite with lots of pools and everything you could use or need inside the room. A little dated but It was huge with a washer and dryer which was very convenient. Great location. Near many shops, restaurants and highways. I didn't like that the toilet clogged daily. The bathroom was Dirty with someone's hair in it. Waterpark is expensive and should be free or included in The resort fee and if it rains or thunders they shut down and you get no money back. Which of course happened. You should at least get a credit to come back. Front desk staff were great with the exception of the Starbucks lady who was not friendly and does not dare make your coffee not like a traditional Starbucks. No instructions as to what to do with trash. Overall a very nice property nice staff and a few things to consider working on.

I enjoyed my stay at the property but couldn’t help to notice that some cooks handled food with their hands. This seemed unsanitary and I was not able to eat from that station. But overall, I had a great time with my partner. The place was great and relaxing. Drinks were not bad. Food was ok.

The pizza shop is being renovated which is not mentioned in any interaction i had withstaff when booking room and the staff became overwhelmed quickly Nd stopped answering phone, forgot orders and mixed up orders.
