Hotel was in perfect spot, great pool, great hot tubs, right on the boardwalk, employees were nice and friendly, welcome you with smiles. Only negative part about the trip is their parking lot fills very quickly and their over flow parking is 2 blocks away. Other then that it’s a wonderful hotel.

The staff was very friendly, and the location was right on the boardwalk and had direct access to the beach! The pool was nice and like the tiki bar. It gave you that Beach feel! The parking however, was not efficient, the lobby bathroom was not the cleanest and the carpet needed to be replaced.

Ok, so parking wasn't the best... but, where your at you won't need your car!... on the beach, has a nice pool and 3 hot tubs, also a bar next to the pool... staff was very nice and assertive! Highly recommend!

The Plim is in a great spot. It has some nice features like the pool and outdoor bar. I enjoy the live music all day and the front porch with rocking chairs. However the property is old and everything is small. The rooms, and bathrooms, are small and modesty furnished to say the least. The hallways barely fit 2 people across.

Just a below average place to stay. Sheets were dirty and stained upon arrival, mold in the shower and bathtub, extremely small rooms and no safe to lock up valuables. No security features preventing people from walking in and out of the building and right up to your room! The building is definitely old and needs a renovation badly. It’s not all bad though because the staff was mostly friendly and was quick to try and resolve any issues and the bed was comfortable. The AC also worked very well and we stayed comfy throughout the night. Overall it’s just a 3/5. Not the worst but certainly far from the best. I’d recommend spending the extra money and booking elsewhere, I personally would not return.

Water leaked through the bathroom ceiling and when I let the front desk know about it the maintenance guy said it was normal and happened all the time. They were willing to put me in another room but for a sizable increase. Overall it was dirty and wasn’t worth the stay.

People sitting around smoking at every entrance, the lobby seemed to be open to the public with questionable people hanging out everywhere. Our first room’s bathroom was filled with mold, tv didn’t work and door barely shut. The staff did accommodate us by “upgrading” us to a room that looked more like the pictures we saw when we booked but the bathroom still had mold (just less) and the door still barely shut. The hot tubs were filthy, not maintained and we couldn’t enjoy hanging out on the property due to the smokers/public just trashing the place.

Check-in was good, but after that everything went downhill. One of the elevators was out of order, the room was small with water marks on the ceiling and wall. Bed sheets was dirty and had me to change them. A very big change from when I stayed there years ago!

Hotel is in a terrible condition, smelly and dirty. Our room for 4 was the size of a shoe closet, no room to move around. Carpets are filthy, furniture was old. Location is great, workers are nice! I would not reccomend this hotel.

This was a disgusting place to stay. Everything was so filthy, nothing was clean, the floors were nasty, refrigerator was disgusting, the bedding was horrible, doors didn’t even fit the frame, stains and filth were everywhere, the bathroom had pee and poop stains, the furniture wasn’t wiped down, everything was extremely dated, the outside pool area smelled like poop.

Not a fan. Woke up in the morning and found ants in the bed with my baby and on my baby. Spoke with the manager of the hotel and he claimd he did not see them in the room despite them being behind the head board and in the shower. The only good thing was Christine who works at the front desk. She immediately moved us into a new room

Stay here for the location and reasonable price. Was right out the door onto the boardwalk. Pool is nice as well. Small room, reasonably clean, etc. Can be loud due to the band at the bar (until 11 pm), but also due to neighbors.

We were on a beach trip to Ocean City. The hotel was nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room is small. Right on the boardwalk. Room was clean. Lots of musical entertainment at the hotel pool bar. No balcony to sit on. It was not a bad place to stay but I couldn’t imagine a family of 4 staying together in one room. It would be tight.

Excellent location for OC, right on the boards . But this property needs updating , wall paper sagging in room, , faded pictures on the wall, old furnishings . Wasn’t exactly dirty , but very hard to tell with such old flooring / drapes. My bed was very comfortable so that was a good thing . Not luxury accommodations at all , but good if you are mostly in the ocean or walking the boardwalk.

This property is right on the boardwalk. Sadly that is the only good thing about it. The rooms are super tiny, dirty, rusty, super thin walls. I spent 6 nights there and i could hear everything happening outside of my room as if i was standing there. The lock didnt work in my door, the bathroom was super slippery, it felt like the floor was going to give out on me while i showered. Not a place for anyone with kids at all.

Loved the location of the hotel as it is very close to everything and on the boardwalk. Parking is very annoying as there were limited spots on-site at the hotel but they had an overflow lot up the street. The walk from the overflow lot was about a block away which wasn't too bad, but it was slightly annoying. The hotel definitely needs a face lift as it does appear to be old and run-down for the price that they charge. The rooms are also extremely small so it is only good for a short stay, I would not stay here for a longer trip (week). I do love that they have a deck on the boardwalk with chairs to sit out and look at the ocean. The staff was nice and our housekeeper was very friendly and helpful in guiding us to the best restaurants in town. Overall it was not bad as we stayed for a weekend and they had a pool, but not sure if I would choose the hotel again.

Right on the boardwalk and beach! Easy check in Affordable (mid sept) Small rooms but all you need is there. Hallways are very run down but nothing to sorry about really. Quiet at night….recommended.

The bed was horrible, a bus stop bench would’ve been more comfortable. The door had a giant crooked gap at the bottom. Besides those two things, everything else was fine. It’s a middle of the road room. The bed was probably the original one whenever the hotel first opened. Check in and check out was quick and easy, staff is nice. Parking situation is weird but whatever. Ocmd is always a good time.

Check in was smooth - except that we were not informed that housekeeping needed to be requested. When we returned to the room, there were 2 bath towels laying on the bed and the dirty ones removed. Nothing else was done to the room. There were housekeepers in the hallway. I told them that there were 2 of us in the room and we needed additional towels. She couldn't understand me and called a manager over. He asked me what I wanted. I told him that the was not cleaned, the beds were not made and the trash was not removed. He asked what it was that I wanted again. I said that I didn't care if the beds weren't made but needed towels and cleaning. I received 2 more towels and he said that the hand towels were in the laundry. He would send some up when they were dry. He did not tell me that we had to request housekeeping. We left the room and expected some housekeeping to occur, but nothing was done. We found out that a request needed to be done each day, on our last day there. We have been staying at the hotel for many years but we probably will not return.

Staff was either high or drunk. Rooms were very tiny and very very outdated. Parking was atrocious and staff was not helpful at all rectifying everyone who wasn't a hotel guest parking in their overflow lot. Only thing positive was the location... other then that i will never stay here again and it wasn't worth the 4k i spent on 3 rooms

We stayed in a lobby level 2 bed room. We were pleasantly surprised when we opened door. We were here last year and room was great but needed updating. Our room had new fixtures, updated bathroom and was super nice. We love staying here as their pool and bar area are fantastic. Great location on the boardwalk and front desk staff were very friendly. Would recommend to anyone to stay here.

Weather was awful. The staff was excellent and actually held conversations with you. Room was clean. Beds were comfy. Bathroom was a little small. Overall, I do recommend, and will be back again. There is a small coffee shop outback on the patio. Which has really good coffee options. My only issue is parking. But that’s with almost every hotel on the boardwalk. There is not nearly enough room for parking onsite. Offsite parking, you have to cross both Baltimore and Philly. Which is really busy and not ideal when walking back to your hotel. I just don’t like having my car sitting offsite 2-3 blocks away.

Dear Plim Plaza Management, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel on July 5, 2025. Unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations in several key areas. Upon check-in, I was greeted by a front desk staff member who was actively eating chips while assisting me. This behavior struck me as highly unprofessional and unhygienic. When she handed me the paperwork to sign, it was stained with food residue, which was quite off-putting and set a poor tone for the rest of my stay. In addition, I was disappointed to find that there was no on-site parking available. I had to park a block away, which was very inconvenient—especially when unloading luggage. The condition of the bathroom in my room also contributed to a negative experience. The toilet was not functioning properly, as it wouldn’t flush fully, causing further discomfort during my stay. I expected a higher standard of cleanliness, professionalism, and guest convenience from your establishment. Average stay. Price was a little expensive for what you get. Bed wasnt made the entire stay. We had to ask for clean sheets, they brought to the room but didnt make the bed. Bathroom was extremely tight. The toilet was so close to the tub there was no leg room. And im not a very tall person. Rooms and hotel definitely need an upgrade. The cleanliness was good. We had a very nice front desk man on check in. Very friendly and helpful. Then we had a different front desk lady who was not friendly or helpful at all when we had to come down and ask for clean towels and sheets because house keeping didnt come. Parking lot is a few blocks away which wasnt ideal, but not a big deal. All in all average stay, good facilities and location, not great service.

This hotel is located on 2nd street so it is a convenient location for getting around on the boardwalk. The staff was helpful and the room was decent for the price. The parking area is extremely small and the additional parking is located 2 streets over.

Don’t let the exterior or surroundings fool you, this is actually a great place to stay! The room was small but we knew that going into it based on other reviews but it was fine. The bed was comfortable, bedding so nice I want it at home and room was clean - no complaints. The pool area was great. Way bigger than we expected. Bring your own towel because the ones they supply are tiny. Can’t beat the location if you want to be right on the boardwalk. Love music at the pool bar was great too!

The hotel is old, the owners have updated he bathrooms, the carpet should be replaced. It is typical of the old Ocean City hotels the rooms are small, there is no room for a table and chairs. The staff was very friendly and responsive, the price of the room was very reasonable. The location to the broad walk is perfect. Plim Plaza has an outdoor pool and three hot tubs and a tiki bar.

They have three area to eat within the hotel. Cabana bar &grill, Carriabian pool bar, Mug and malet. Also close to a lot of other eateries. The hotel itself is old and need update. Other than that I live the location.
