Our stay was really wonderful! The front desk was extremely helpful in getting us a room that could accommodate us. The only complaint I would say, is that the pool water was very cold. Everything else was very nice.

We were with several of our grandchildren so the pool was a wonderful activity for them. The pool towels were a bit small and thin, but did appreciate having them at the pool. Front desk staff very friendly! Only issue was we had connecting rooms and on one side the door was off its frame. Ok for us since we had the doors open, but could not close it if needed.

The building is in very good condition (kind of new looking). The facilities overall are fine. The swimming pool could be better maintained (the water wasn't that clean). The staff were helpful.

The hotel was clean and the staff were very accomodating. My family and friends enjoyed the pool and playing basketball. The sofa bed mattress was a little thin and i could feel the springs but i was still able to get some rest. I was a little disappointed that the hotel website stated they had a local shuttle yet the front desk staff stated that they did not have one.

We enjoyed our two night stay very much at this hotel. It was quiet, clean and at a great location. Breakfast was decent, but the attendant on Sat morning was obviously overwhelmed. She didn’t keep things filled and didn’t clean up dishes until they couldn’t fit in the bin any longer. Sundays crew was much better. The room was a little smaller than we expected for a suite, but sufficient. We would have liked there to be enough chairs for the four of us to sit together at the table. We enjoyed the family board games you provided at the facility! That was a nice extra. Overall, we would definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

Room was comfortable and well organized. Nice entertainment selections on the TV Breakfast selections were OK. Only suggestion is to provide better housekeeping services. We needed to make a special request for new towels after 3 nights. Light cleaning of the room (especially bathroom & shower) would have been nice after 2 nights.

Trip to Lancaster with my wife. Pre Christmas break. The Hotel was nice enough, I found that the pictures of the suite made it look so much larger, so I booked accordingly. So tiny The bed was rock hard, and when I went to ask the front desk for some additional blankets, she was not thrilled and went and got some…never asked afterwards if we were good. It was for the most part fantastic. The area where my room was located was a little noisy because it was on the ground floor next to the door and I could hear people coming in and out all night. The previous guest also so kindly set the room alarm clock to 3 am….which was not something I wanted to happen the night before I was taking the MCAT. Room was clean and staff was kind and courteous.

The room was slightly musty when we walked in. What really bothered me was room location. The suite was literally less than 1 foot (maybe 6 inches) away from an exit door. My boys, who slept in the second room, could not sleep because of all of the foot transit and noise of the exit door opening and closing—even at 1 am in the morning! Why have a room so close to an exit door? It made no sense.

Check-in was 3pm and our room was not available for at least 35-40 min. past that time. We arrived 15 min early hoping we could check in early. We were told the room was “getting worked on”. As a customer and hotel member, this lack of service is unacceptable. We had to keep asking if our room was ready. No urgency at all. This is poor hotel management planning if you’re short on housekeepers. Also, we were placed in a room on the first floor with a bright flood light directly facing the outside of our bedroom and living room window. We asked if anything could be done to lessen the brightness so we could sleep, but the lobby associate said there was nothing that could be done. Expected better from this hotel.

Our stay was fine. The day of our check-in the two ladies in the lobby were very friendly and made me feel welcome. The next day when I went down for breakfast there was no one at the front desk. We got breakfast and I realized the front desk person was in the kitchen. When I was able to speak with her she was not as pleasant and friendly as the staff the day before. We decided to check out a day early (not because of this woman or the hotel). When I checked out she was again very short with me. I asked for a receipt, she said it would be emailed or she would have to print it. This was said in a rude way. I decided to wait on the email and I am still waiting.

This is an excellent hotel. We stayed here for 5 nights while on our extended road trip. The property is a bit dated, but it is very well maintained. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the breakfast is very good, with several different hot and cold options and a big variety. The hotel is very well located to explore the Lancaster area, and it is close to many shops and restaurants.

Homewood Suites was a great stay. No issues when checking in nor any when checking out. The staff were friendly, smiles and all. My family and I stayed for 2 nights. We enjoyed the continental breakfast, tater tots cooked to crisp, sausage links10/10. Oh and the waffle maker was the hit of the day. The dining area was clean. The coffee station was also a hit…clean and tidy. The room was clean and just as expected. The king size bed was comfy, and clean. The sofa bed was “alright” as per my pre-teen. If you forget your shampoo/ conditioner don’t worry they got you covered. All In all, if you’re looking for a home away from home experience…book with Homewood suites. Peace and love, Norms
