TRS Turquesa Hotel - Adults Only - All Inclusive

This is my second year and I probably will not be coming back. Service was horrible, we had a cockroach in our room, and food was lackluster. Definitely not a 5-star hotel.

Our butler Norielis was amazing! Everybody was very nice and friendly. The hotel was beautiful and we loved the restaurants.

Great staff and accommodations. Rodny was our group butler and he was awesome! Very knowledgeable and personable. He made making reservations on property to super easy

Pros: - Room was amazing (jacuzzi terrace). Bed/pillows were ultra comfortable, A/C worked perfect, clean. - staff were extremely nice and helpful, Randi (butler), Yay, Yeudy, Richard (all at the secret pool), and Jacobs (lobby) are some of the names that stood out. - Alcohol selection was really good, lobby bar bartenders really knew how to make legitmate cocktails. - the grounds are beautifully maintained Cons: - I was aware of many complaints about the food so I went in with low expectations, it was worse than that. Shockingly worse. 1st place I ate at arrival was lunch at Helios, awful. More than once I got food that was undercooked or raw (chicken skewers from the pool grill and a steak that was ordered m/w to be safe and was brought out rare). CAPRICHO for breakfast was really good though. We ate at the italian restaurant once and it was ok, same kitchen as Capricho. Didnt bother with other restaurants, just ate room service which was just edible. - Beach was packed, Main pool was packed, people wake up at the crack of dawn and leave their towels on the chairs all day. Mega annoying. - if you want guaranteed chairs with shade, it costs $130 a day. If you want access to secret pool its $70 a day. THE SECRET POOL IS A MUST. It was the absolute best part of the trip and worth every penny. - non-stop attempts to get you to join travel club. Overall it was a nice quick extended weekend, I would do it again but there's better options

2nd time coming, all flawwless. I loved it again and will come another time.
