Comfortable bed, room is pretty clean and gym is decent.

The cleaning of the room was sporadic. Exhaust fan was filthy and didn't work. The shower had bacteria or mold growing in the corner and edges. Evening and night staff terrible. They didn't like it if you came to them with an issue like the internet not working on your floor. Breakfast was limited and cold most days. They would leave out cold coffee from the day before. Bed was comfortable but the pillows were terrible. Elevator was filthy and inspection was out of date. A cleaning person on my last day there decided to move all of my personal items in the bathroom and on dresser and desk. They should never touch personal items. I will never stay here again.

I had three rooms reserved for three nights for my daughter’s graduation at Notre Dame. The hotel had water heater issues and we ended up not being able to shower for the length of our stay. We were told the manager would be contacting us about some form of compensation for this inconvenience and was out of town. Later we were t told the owner would contact us and that he was also out of town. It’s now been over a week and despite leaving my complaint and contact info with several hotel front desk employees, I have yet to hear from anyone. Their customer service and communication was horrible and I would never stay there again or recommend that anyone else stay there. Equipment breaks down, but how you handle that with your customers is the measure of your service. Apparently, their method is to just ignore the customers and hope it goes away.

Booked this weekend for kids to swim. Pool was closed friday and Sundays. No mention of this when we booked. Very disappointing for the kids. Had we known, we would have booked elsewhere.

Breakfast didn't have many options, parking was safe, staff was great, the walls between rooms aren't very thick, you can pretty much what is being said in next room. The room close to us had a dog with them ,which we heard the first 2 nights.

The property is clean and rooms and rest of hotel seem updated and clean 1 ice mach in the whole 3 levels and it dont work gotta have front desk get you some and I pick hotels with pools so i can use the pool didn’t really have time as we checked in late but pull open at 6 AM and when I went down there, the door is locked and the front desk lady said it wouldn’t open till afternoon after they got done cleaning it!!!!! Thats not ok with me and the coffee maker in room you have to hold the top down and. Ow im drinking chewy coffee with grounds in it😖

Pool was very dirty had stuff floating n couldn’t really see threw it like no chemicals used the second floor smelt terrible room didn’t smell weird stains on could a piece of carpet around corner was chewed on by a dog breakfast was terrible I would have rather went somewhere else

Pool area was nice and relaxing.

Everything was good except the pool was closed on a Sunday!

Checking there was a problem with the system saying our room was "out of service" according to the front desk. On stead of just giving us another room, the clerk went to physically check the room. Perhaps all other 2 bed rooms were already filled. After a long day, and in desperate need of showers, we learned there was NO HOT WATER in the entire hotel. The clerk failed to tell us about this wonderful news when we checked in!!! It was after 11pm, we were exhausted, and had no way to quickly book another room at another hotel ... and La Qunita did not offer to re-book us another hotel that actually had hot water. Since we paid for a hotel room that included certain known and acknowledged amenities/features, LIKE HOT WATER, I feel we are due a refund.

Very nice, clean, modern hotel for the price including breakfast. Perfect for a quick overnight stop.

It was very dirty and run down. The carpet and tile in room was sticky. Tile was cracked and crumbling. All paint was chipped off the wall. Furniture was very scratched and damaged. It was gross feeling!

The La Quinta was convenient for us. It was much quieter than we anticipated because a lot of Notre Dame football fans were staying there. The shower floor was extremely slippery and I had to put a hand towel down so we would not fall. There were several long black hairs in the bathroom. I found the protective cap from a women's razor in the corner of the shower. These types of things make you wonder about the cleanliness of the entire room. BUT, breakfast was awful. The eggs were cold and rubbery and the biscuits were more like hockey pucks. The food room in breakfast area was much too small and with all the people staying there we were sandwiched into very small space to make waffles. We could not get to the hot food (which wasn't hot anyway), the toaster or to the refrigerator. Hotel free breakfasts are not gourmet but this breakfast was awful.

Shower was dirty, hair clumps in drain and around outside shower edges, bathroom floor was had quite anit of hair, shower was dirty, carpet in main room felt damp and room smelled musty

First room reeked of animal urine so strong I walked out and asked for another room. Went to new room and window was wide open- first floor. Carpets were damp, shower full of mold and room smelled of animal urine after we closed the window. Slept with clothes on and wore shoes everywhere. Another customer was complaining that their bedsheets were dirty and never changed before they checked in. No one to change them so front desk gave her a set of sheets to change it herself!

I stayed here for one night and, unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel. I arrived late—around 10:30 PM—and was greeted by a very kind gentleman at the front desk, which I appreciated. However, my stay was disappointing for several reasons. The biggest issue was the shower: it was severely clogged. Within just a few minutes, I was standing in about three inches of water, which felt extremely unsanitary and frankly, disgusting. The carpet in the room was also very moist—not in a “just cleaned” way, but more like it had absorbed moisture for some time. It had a noticeable moldy smell that made the room feel unpleasant. While the air conditioning at registration wasn’t working or wasn’t cool, that didn’t really bother me compared to the condition of the room itself. I didn’t ask to be moved to another room because by the time I realized the shower issue, I was already mid-shower and had unpacked. Overall, not an experience I’d choose again.

First room TV didn't work. Baseboards peeling off the wall. I serious need of renovation or at minimum basic repairs. Positives room was clean. Beds are comfortable and rate was good for an ND football weekend

It was fine. We were just in town one night for a concert. The front desk mentioned the pool was open until 10 pm, but didn't say it would be closed the next day Sunday. That was disappointing. The room was large and had a view to the grass, not parking lot. Pillows were lumpy, but for our purposes of an overnight was fine.

Nice place to stay. Convenient location. The only downside was being close to the highway. Without the air conditioner going, it would be difficult to sleep.

Our room was really nice, clean, and very spacious. Loved the pool, alittle hot&humid,but pool water was great, nice and alittle cold, it went up to 5' which was awesome for all of us. Also GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THE FRONT DESK, Tuesday afternoon into the evening. Also Thank you again for our roll a way bed. Awesome sauce... I would recommend this place forsure!!!!!

Public areas were nice and clean. Room was run down. Some ceiling stains. Walls had some damage to them and the power strip hanging from a cord to plug in the TV wasn't great. Beds were comfortable and it was quiet

The desk clerk was extremely helpful and kind. The room was clean, the beds comfy. The air worked well. The breakfast was really good for a hotel breakfast. Hot breakfast, and the sausages were actually cooked and browned! They weren’t gray from just being microwaved! The young lady serving was very sweet, and you could see she enjoyed her job and did it well,

Stay was mostly good. The pillows weren't great but everything else was fine. The front desk associate who works the second shift is wonderful. He was super friendly, knowledgeable and quick.

This property isn't the Ritz but the staff were amazing and incredibly helpful when we had a need. I've been to much more expensive hotels and gotten minimal customer service. This location wins for working hard for their customers

This place has openly racist woman working there. When we checked in the front desk person was not really friendly. She wasn’t mean either. Just not welcoming like a hotel front desk person should be. We were in town for my graduation/birthday party with my father. On our second day there, we went down for breakfast. Most things were out including syrup. The kids tried sugar free syrup on there waffles which was not good. So I still had to go buy food. After, we left and went to my party nearby. We returned around 8pm. When I walked in with my black teen girls, the front desk lady shouted “do you all have a room here?” One daughter said yes. Then the lady shouted “I asked because I have seen you here all day.” I responded “that’s because we haven’t been here all day.” The next day we left early and was gone most of the day. When we returned, the same lady didn’t speak. Later, I went down to grab stuff out of my car alone. She was not around when I walked out. When I came in alone, she said hello to me. Later I sent the girls to grab toilet paper. She was not friendly to them. They went down again to grab food from DoorDash. The rude lady was friendly to the white doordasher but still didn’t speak to my black daughters. No one should have to deal with racism especially young girls who are just existing. So don’t stay here unless you are okay with racism. Never again. Disgusting!!!

On first glance the La Quinta seems very nice. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Our room was clean enough for a budget 2 night stay. The bathroom showed some signs of wear with missing sections of grout and cracked tiles. The sheets and beding were neat and clean, but the shower and bathroom sink could have used a deep cleaning with some bleach. When we returned back to our room on day 1 the bathroom had been cleaned with fresh washcloths and towels, but the bed was not made and the floor was not swept. We tried the breakfast on day 2 and were underwhelmed. The selection was very limited compared to other hotels we have stayed at. This hotel is fine for a cheap stay, but if you're looking for someing a little nicer look elsewhere.

We were traveling on the last road trip as a family and decided to stay at this La Quinta hotel. We arrived late at around 5 am and were quickly given our room. The problem was in the morning being awakened to very loud banging telling us we had to leave. We told the lady we were just getting ready and we would leave very shortly. At the point she went away for about 5 minutes and received a call from the front desk demanding we either pay more or leave the room, mind you it was barely 11:15 an and they bwgan to bang on the door again. I feel 15 minutes is not a very long time for them to be creating all that comotion if we had already told me we were leaving. I must say I will never again stay at another La Quinta EVER AGAIN!!!

We had a nice stay. It was a quick visit on our way to South Bend. When we checked in, the pool was closed, but the manager got the pool up and running for our kids. That was very nice. The workers were very helpful when we needed more towels. Everyone was professional and helpful. I slept very well in the bed! I would stay here again just for the bed.

The motel is easy to get to from the Indiana turnpike in a nice area with many restaurants and shopping areas.

We traveled from NY for a birthday party! They are pet friendly which was great for our bulldog. Convenient location if your traving through as its right off the highway and like 5 mins from michigan

Easy off/on I-80. Quiet and clean.

Close to good restaurants and a clean environment

Stayed for a short night before checking in to our team hotel the next day. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and the location right off the highway was convenient. Breakfast in the morning was standard breakfast fare, my kiddo loved the waffle. All in all a good stay.

We have stayed at this la Quinta for over a decade. They do a great job, and most importantly to us, they are truly pet friendly. They also have a very good, clean, and fresh breakfast for a hotel.

So overall it was nice however breakfast was poor . By our third day they were out of several items. We asked about it and they didnt seem to be bothered.

Quick and easy access from highway. Room was freezing when we checked in. Staff was quick to respond, but it took quite a while to get room comfortable. Breakfast was not appetizing.
