Hilton Garden Inn Hershey

The staff was very nice and the rooms were clean. I really appreciated that the pool was open late and check out was at 12. My grandson loved the entire hotel experience and would like to live there.

Anthony at the lobby bar was super nice. He went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. Sadly it was Saturday night and there was a big football game on with 8 of us at the bar and he had to close at 10. Maybe staying open a bit later if there are guests enjoying their night might be better. Thank you

Everything was perfect from the cleanliness of the room to the pool/hot tub and the gym facilities.

Overall, we appreciated the convenience and pricing for the length of our stay close to Hersheypark. However, we were unsatisfied with the cleanliness of the room, the inconvenience of the indoor pool not being heated as the hot tub was small and always being used by other guests, as well as additional costs for food and drinks.

Fantastic weekend getaway. Our ticket venue was close, along with restaurants and fun activities. The gym, pool, and jacuzzi were excellent. We will definitely book again if our travels take us near this location again.

I guess being a more upscale hotel chain I expected more. The rate was doubled cause of local events, I paid it thinking it would be nicer, the rooms about the same as Holiday Inn, $16.00 for a breakfast buffet, that most do for free, the hot tub was hot but did not circulate properly, so I overpaid and got average at best. There will not be a next time.

I was really surprised with the water bottles in the room, that you had to pay additional $$ to drink. I was also surprised there was no complimentary breakfast, but looking back into the details later, their website did state this. The elevator didn't work, and being on the top floor made it hard to lug our bags.

Beautiful property with a convenience store, in house restaurant and bar. The staff was very helpful I had a wonderful stay in the sweetest place on earth!

Staff was great. The room was clean

Room cleaning from prior use was wholly inadequate. Foor particles and paper scraps were clearly visible. Room lighting was poor, especially in the bathroom.

We stayed in room 217 and there were many ants in the room, specifically by the desk. I told the front desk attendant upon checking out and she could not care less. The 2 gentleman who help us check in though, however, were efficient, informative, and very hospitable. The room itself felt stuffy & humid, there were stains on the sitting chair, and the carpet was sticky in areas. Cleanliness can be improved.

The front desk staff was friendly, and check-in was smooth. Unfortunately, the room was a major letdown. It felt extremely dated and did not feel clean. The pull-out sofa sheets had crumbs, the bed had what appeared to be chocolate, and the ice bucket contained spoiled juice (at least that’s what I assume) and had a strong odor. The room also had an unpleasant stench overall. I only stayed one night for a visit to Hershey Park, but if I had booked for longer, I would not have stayed. For the price paid it was a total let down.

This hotel was very outdated, which doesn’t bother me as long as it’s clean. It was not clean. The room was nasty, so much dust and dirt around and on everything. The microwave and fridge were dirty. The walls were dirty. The bedding was stained and dirty. The bathroom had toothpaste all over sink area, the shower was gross with old dirty,yellow shower curtain. I had asked them to go in and clean up when we arrived and they basically wiped the floor a little bit. They really need to deep clean their rooms because we felt icky. We had to stay because of no other option and lucky had our own pillows and blankets but I would never stay here again and I would never recommend this hotel. Also the pool is tiny and always crowded and very loud because it echos in the pool area. If you want a fun place for your kids this isn’t it. This was the first time I have stayed in a hotel that was so gross- so I feel I want to warn people.

Felt more like a Motel than a 3 star. Elevator and hallways were dirty. Room was ok. The first room was cramped, asked the front desk if we could upgrade to a suite but couldn't because we booked through this app even thoughwe have Hilton honors, however they were able to accommodate us in a bit of a better room on the 3rd floor. Overall, just did not feel like a 3 star.

The room I was given was dirty. The bathroom seat was full of pee and there were socks on the floor of the people that were before us. I told the person at the front desk to have it cleaned up and when I came back to the room that day the bathroom was cleaned but the socks were still there on the floor.

Arrived after a full day at Hershey Park, around 5pm, to find out there were no rooms ready for us despite check-in being 3pm. We were told we could sit in the lobby and wait for a room (with others) or come back later. We opted to go to dinner and come back. I’ve never arrived at a hotel well past check-in not to have a room ready. Rooms were outdated as was tv service - no option for Netflix or other streaming services. Only two bath towels in the bathroom, but three of us were staying in the room. I had to go to the front desk to get additional towels. Gym and pool were small, but adequate. I wouldn’t stay here again and don’t recommend. Have stayed at similarly priced Marriotts lately and the quality is much better.

It was beautiful when you walked in but the rooms are outdated and the beds are not comfortable we all woke up with our backs hurting. However, it is 10 mins from every things which is very nice. We were ten min from Hershey Park and boy was that a ton of fun!

Check in was easy & we even got an upgrade to a queen suite. The room is very spacious and clean.

We booked a suite and a standard room for 3 nights for 6 people. PROS- Staff were attentive and professional. Pool stayed open late. CONS- All beds were incredibly uncomfortable for everyone. Hotel very dated. No soap for showers in dispensers during the entire stay. Food during sit down breakfast was inedible. The 3 night stay was approximately $2000.00. We will not likely stay here again as it was overpriced for our experience.

Pillow cases are very scratchy.

Very cozy and comfortable stay. Only thing I didn’t like was the wall are thin and you can hear everyone around you.

It is a fine hotel for a quick overnight, but if you’re looking for long term stays this isn’t the place. Food area is small with limited selection, rooms are dated and have that moist wet air feel. The hotel is clean yet you leave feeling just a little gross.

It was a great space, but the a/c unit struggled to keep the room cool.

I never leave reviews but feel compelled to after my recent stay. The pack n play provided for my toddler to sleep in was covered in stains and had holes in it. The stains were dark brown and yellow and the pack n play itself didn't even expand properly. It must have been extremely old and has for sure seen its full life of use. I was really surprised the staff even felt it acceptable to provide. God knows what those stains were ( I can only guess). Highly disappointed and disgusted.

Only 2 miles from Giant Center, friendly staff, comfortable beds for sure.

Check in at 3. We arrived 315, told our room wasn’t ready as a large party has a late checkout and house keeping is cleaning rooms. At 4 we inquired an update and they didn’t have one- let them know we needed to leave for an event at 5 and needed to shower get dressed etc. couldn’t give us an eta but offered the gym area for us to change clothes. At 415 I asked for our suite to be downgraded if it meant to be allowed in any clean room as we really needed to shower and get ready- when I was told the people in our room still hadn’t checked out yet to even clean it wasn’t until 420. I was told no other rooms were clean and available for us to use. Our plans weren’t movable so I stated I really need to wash up and change at least is there any private bathroom to use- I was then taken to the lobby public women’s room where I was told I could wash up in the sink and they could watch the door so no one comes in. We were meeting friends who also booked a room to go to the event. (Only reason I didn’t just go to another hotel) I called them to say they might as well not come to the hotel and go right to the event. They called me back to say that the front desk is coming to look for me their room is ready and we can use it. We were given the key to our friends empty and clean room 25 min before we needed to leave. When I asked why that room wasn’t offered to us the last hour and a half that we were waiting in lobby pleading to be helped. At 10 when we got to our room- moldy bathroom

They practice “Covid Cleaning”. They do not have daily housekeeping services. Hotels are in the service business. Should not have to search for towels at 11:00 pm.

The management did not deal with a group of teens yelling and running up and down the halls at 1:00 am. Called several times without resolve. Activity went on and on.

The property is beautiful. Staff are super helpful and friendly. Our room wasn’t ready upon arrival and I needed to prepare for a wedding that was starting within the hour. The room not being ready was my only issue.

This place would be perfect if they enforced pool rules, quiet times, and getting breakfast didn't take an hour. It's conveniently located to hershey park and shopping. We bought the breakfast package but it takes forever. One day we didn't even get our breakfast. They were catering to a class trip and told us they didn't know how long it would be for our food. We were paying guests too and I thought it was wrong. There were unattended, out of control, kids in the pool with no adult supervision. Kids would run up and down the halls screaming and knocking on doors, at all hours. Nothing was ever done about it. Im not sure id stay here again due to the noise.

Great location, easy to get to places

It was a great place to stay for a concert at the Hershey Arena. It was less than 6 minutes away and was very easy to get to. The place was clean and the rooms were also very clean

It is near PSU Hershey Medical Center which is convenient.

Easy to get to. The gentleman at the front desk was helpful and informative. Very clean, nice small dining facilities inside where we were able to get a nice breakfast. Only small negative is breakfast is not in included with room, had to pay additional, but no big deal. I would go there again.

Room was nice and clean. We had to wait for almost an hour after check in time for our room to be ready. They offer breakfast but you have to pay for it.

The 2 guys working the breakfast were awesome. Great service, well mannered despite some of the other guests. Great job

We stayed for two nights and it is in close proximity to Hershey Park and Tanger Outlets. When we arrived the lobby was quite loud due to sports teams, it made check in a little more difficult due to noise. The hotel room appeared clean. We wished that the bathroom had a fan as it made it hard for multiple people to get ready due to fogged up mirror. The charging station has an outlet that didn’t work causing phone battery not to charge in the night. Disappointed that breakfast wasn’t included. Additional $16 per person. For the price of two nights it didn’t feel like Hilton quality.

Really despise the shared shampoo, condition, lotion dispensers! How are you preventing them from being tampered with? Room was nice size but chair had stains on it. Love the coffee bar but disappointed that breakfast is not included.
