Hotel was in a great location, the restaurants inside were good, the roof top bar was nice. The only thing I didn’t like is I paid extra for a city view only to be looking directly at the side of another building.

It was an amazing stay. Felt very safe. They have valet for $65 a night. They have 2 restaurants which both of them have great food with great service.

The hotel has beautiful bedrooms with very comfortable beds and luxury bedding. In fact, i plan on buying the pillows they use. The staff was attentive to our needs, and housekeeping made things sparkle.

There was what seemed to be black mold on the ceiling of the shower. All there baseboards were caked with dust. There was a lot of someone else's hair in the bathroom when we checked in.

We stayed in the hotel for one night. The room was spacious and nicely decorated, comfortable bed, couch. Very clean and well maintained. The hotel has 2 restaurants, both are worth to dine in. The hotel is located in downtown so there is some noise from traffic. The staff is very nice and helpful. Walking distance to shops, museums, entertainment venues. The only thing is that the fridge is full of alcoholic drinks and sodas and it is not possible to put anything there. There should be some room left for visitors to use the fridge. It is a nice hotel for couples or business travelers.

The Nines is a good place to stay mostly. The decor is tacky with its bright walls and outdated wall paper and plastic chandelier type lamps. If that doesn't bother you, the rooms are spacious, the staff is pleasant, and the convenience to shopping and restaurants is great. The two restaurants are good as well. It's a solid 3 star place.

The inner space was lovely. My room looked down upon the “living room” eating space which was totally enclosed & away from the street. It was as amazingly quiet for being in the middle of the city.

I love The Nines. The beds are so comfortable. I took a star off because I had to wait until 6:15pm for my room to be ready and there were a few small issues with my room. The make up mirror didnt work, the tub was so slippery (I'm surprised no one has fallen), and the hair dryer was crappy. The toom was great otgerwise. I would definitely go back.

We came for my birthday and to see a concert. The staff checked us into our room early, be noon instead of 4 which was great because we could enjoy the city without carrying our luggage. They brought me a birthday cart with cake, wine and balloons to my room along with a card. Everyone staff member that I spoke to and gave my last name to told me happy birthday and my visit really special. On checkout they held out luggage for free at the front desk so we could walk around and sightsee before heading to the airport. Felt like VIP the entire time. Highly recommend.

We had a bad experience initially with reception desk employee and stayed more than 2 hours to check in as the allocated us very rotten smelling room and it was different from what we reserved, and during the whole stay, the whole customer service team was rude and the charged us double what we should pay in advance

This was my second visit to the Nines and the team here is absolutely amazing. My flight was delayed by 9 hours and their STELLAR concierge, Cruz, arranged transportation for me, dinner to my room as I arrived at 10:30pm and left a beautiful flower arrangement. She is incredible and made me feel so welcome! On top of that, great room, great food, great coffee! Awesome location in downtown Portland.

My check in experience was less than par. The gal at the desk seemed very overwhelmed and confused. Then I got to my room and found things intended for someone who was not me. Called the front desk and the worker kept asking for "30 seconds" which was really like several minutes. The room is nice but the staff seems confused.

Great place to stay while in Portland! Location is great close to everything you want to see downtown. Service is always warm and welcoming! The food is excellent! The rooms are lovely. The parking situation is a drawback. The fee is to high and it’s hectic getting your car.

The property was just ok. The staff from the Valet to the checkin and especially the restaurant was extremely slow. The dinner took over 2hrs and 15 mins from start to finish. I had to drive around for 30 mins to even get the attention of The Valet to move cars out in front so I could drop my luggage.

Hotel was great. Friendly staff. Located close to Powell's bookstore and good restaurants. The area around the hotel was sketchy. Homelessness is a big issue. I would not suggest going out for a walk around the neighborhood in the evening.

There are some streets around there area that are unsafe, including a high-traffic bus/train stop area. The city does not appear to be on top of drug use in the open. The Nines is a great hotel! Love the staff and felt safe in the hotel - just watch the streets around.

Wonderful location. Staff was amazing. Close to Portland City Grill which I highly recommend as a high end restaurant. Downtown Portland is a little spotty with shopping but there’s a mall and high end shops nearby. I’ve priced this pace during the summer and it was out of my budget but in late March, it was less than $300 a night which was a great value for what you get.

Great location, nice sized rooms, clean, well appointed, comfortable and quiet. Staff was great but onsite food could use a boost for the price. Not horrible, just OK, better options nearby. I guess you are paying for the convenience. Valet parking is overpriced. I’d stay again and recommend but will check out other options nearby too.

I rented two overpriced rooms paying way over $1000 for one night. The plumbing in my room was clogged. The water in the second room was rusty and brown. The room service food was nauseating. They charged nearly $100 for three pizzas the size of an average tortilla, which were completely inedible and far below that which you can get at a gas station for two dollars.

Although we were not able to explore much the hotel's location seemed fantastic. The restaurant/bar - Departure was excellent. There seemed to be a lot of locals there so that's when you know a place is has a good reputation. The view from the rooftop is something not to be missed. The staff was super friendly and amazing. Stay here if you can.
