Nice, clean and quiet hotel at a good price. Pet fee is very reasonable at $20 per night. Location is convenient & right off I-40. Walmart very close by along with restaurants. Would definitely return and recommend to others.

Pros: Great central location, super clean, friendly staff. Our door battery went out and they fixed it immediately. Would definitely recommend to others. Cons: Breakfast was pretty meh. Cold omlettes and make your own pancakes that had a strange aftertaste. Oj was very sour so I threw it out. There were a few homeless we saw in and near the parking lot.

When I first arrived it had a foul odor in the lobby. I don't know if someone passed gas or not but it wasn't there. The next day my room was a king sweet and it was nice. The only complaint that I would have is the sofa looked old and dirty. But the bed was super comfortable. The breakfast wasn't the greatest and I wish the parking was better but overall it's a good hotel for the price

Upon arrival the hotel seemed clean and mostly maintained. We checked in, showered and left for dinner without issue. When we came back to go to bed we pulled back the covers and found the sheets had not been changed from the prior guest. There was hair (lots of it) and it was clear from other "spots" these weren\'t clean. I called the lady at the front desk who was very apologetic and offered to move us. We were moved to a single bed room with a pull out sofa which was a bit frustrating considering we paid for and reserved a room with two BEDS but at this point it was late and not worth the fight. Sadly the frustration only got worse when this bed also has dirty sheets, again with hair throughout the bed. I rang the front desk again to let them know and my teenage daughter and I ended up sharing the pull out sofa with the *cleaner* looking sheets. As a former hotel maid, I am appalled.

I don’t ever write reviews on places but I chose this this hotel because it had good ratings and it was awful. The sheets smelled like the had been washed with feces and the room smelled unpleasant as well. Not worth the price and wouldn’t recommend for family stays.

The staff was very friendly. The room fridge had a compressor that never shut off and was very loud. The bathroom was surface-level clean but needed a deep clean. The room also had a smell of a cheap disinfectant. We did not bring this up during our stay because these are not quick-fix items, and we were gone for most of the day.

We arrived at about 9PM because of a funeral in the area. I had reserved (2) rooms for my wife and I, and another for our daughter and and our niece. Initially they were told their room hadn't been paid for, but that was cleared up really quickly. When they got to their room there was standing water in the tub when they arrived, and it never did drain even though the plug was open so it could drain.. My wife and I had to switch rooms as there was something in the ceiling that was emmitting a very high pitched buzzing and was really annoying. There was also pubic hair on the floor of the bathroom and hair in the bed. When we went to the 2nd room, there was hair in the sink, and hair on the sheets. The "hot" breakfast was simply an egg and cheese omlette, and a pancake maker. The omlette has hard and difficult to cut. It had no flavor, either. All in all I will not stay here, again.

Upon arrival we were not greeted. We were in clear sight of the person on duty but they were occupied with their child in the back office. After ringing the buzzer, we were told the rooms were being cleaned and to come back in 30 mins. After check in, we went to our room. As soon as your opened the door there was a smoky and musty smell although this a non smoking room. It lingered for our entire stay (2 nights). Our trash was not collected and we were not given fresh towels. The day of check out, one of the staff tried to enter our room at 8AM and didn’t knock. Gratefully, the interior lock was engaged. My husband went to open the door to see what the staff member wanted and he had went down the hallway toward the stairwell. I wasn’t expecting much from this hotel but I know I will never stay here again.

All was going great. But we had gone to bed at 8. Then we got woken up by someone trying to get in our room. The front desk had checked someone into our room. When we told them we had been here all day. Checked in since 2. Then they front desk called and asked it was really our room. Really! You have a computer system for a reason. Be careful if you stay here. Lock your doors!

Stay was fine. Tom clean and quit, with nice large TV. Older bathroom, but all was clean and worked well. Coffee good, breakfast just so-so. Convenient to a variety of restaurants and a WalMart - nice when you need last minute could medicine! Would definitely stay again.

This is the second time i have stayed at the Microtel. I found the hotel very nice. The staff are very friendly and answer your questions. I will be staying there again. It is in my price range. I do wish they had more to choose from for breakfast and the coffee cups need to be larger.
