The elevator had a cracked floor tile so they shut it down completely. Quite annoying trying to traverse up the 4th floor with everything in tow. The staff was friendly and property was clean. The TV system was on the fritz and everyone staying kept coming to the lobby to ask how to make the TVs work. Hallways felt like the Bahamas with 85 degree temps at all times, but the rooms were fine.

Hotel is in good condition, rooms are nice, fitness center seemed brand new. Walls were a bit thin so if neighbors are noisy you will hear them. But otherwise it was a good place to stay.

Elevator was not working which I know can happen but it made things much more difficult. Also, the breakfast was very sparse, I guess considered "continental", the only thing available was bagels and the usual dry cereals, but wasn't real appetizing.

Upon entry, lobby was clean and staff was very nice. When we got to our room, as soon as I opened the door and took a few steps inside, I noticed an overwhelming urine odor! The smell was so strong, we walked in and backed right out. The front desk staff was very accommodating and actually stated they knew there was an odor issue in that room previously but thought maintenance had “taken care of it.” I informed her that it was still HORRIBLE and she gave us a different room on the 2nd floor. Our new room was MUCH better. My only complaint was finding a few hairs in the room that weren’t ours. I REALLY hate to see it but didn’t complain. I Lysol’d the room down per my usual and we were okay for the weekend. I must add, in addition to the front desk staff, housekeeping staff was very nice and accommodating with providing additional towels, etc. After this experience, I will be more mindful about making sure to choose a hotel that does not allow pets.

My room was seemingly unkept. There was food left in the refrigerator by the last people that stayed there and not removed by the cleaning staff. There was also hair left in the shower, that seemed to have been from a woman that showered in there previously, and the bedding was dirty. I am going to be frequenting this area and am looking for a hotel to stay at a day or 2 every week and this property did not fit the bill.

This is my 4th stay with this Spark by Hilton and for the most part I have had excellent rooms. However, I noticed the shower floor was quite stained. This was a bit disconcerting.

We chose this hotel because it had pretty good reviews for a good price. However, our room looked like it had only been partially cleaned when we arrived. The room smelled like smoke, counters hadnt been wiped down, and there was a half drank water bottle in the minifridge. We also got two snacks at the snack bar and both were expired. The staff were very friendly, and the location was great, just the hotel itself seemed to be falling in disrepair a bit.

Able to check in via Hilton app. Got to room and it was quite large for a room with two queens. Lots of stains on walls, carpets, and in bathrooms. I know it’s a budget hotel but keep up with the cleaning. TV worked sporadically and the remote was pretty much useless. Was told they could come down and help with it but never actually did. Pretty loud from the traffic noise. Did the job for one night but should’ve spent the extra to stay at Hampton Inn across the street.

This property claimed to have a waterview of the city. The only view was of the highways that surrounded it. The view was the reason we booked that property, very disappointing. The breakfast was also unsatisfactory.

When we arrived the front desk person was not so personable. However with check out and needing to adjust our stay days, a different employee ( Amy) was super nice and helpful. So not all the front desk attendants were unpleasant. The room was clean. Only complaint is they need to have a microwave for every room. Going down to the lobby every time we needed to use it was not very convenient. It was extremely loud during the evening hours up till 10:30ish. While the hotel can’t control everything the parents/adults need to be respectful to other hotel goers and not let their kids run up and don’t the halls. Or play soccer in the halls, or tap on the floor constantly when the ones below are trying to sleep at 10:30/11 at night. Do better parents.

Despite the hotel being a "non smoking property" all 3 rooms we had were smelling of cigarette smoke. One room in particular was very bad. We called reception within minutes of entering the room to ask for a room swap, but the lady there was not interested in being accommodating. We were told "there are no other rooms available" followed by a quick hang up. The hotel parking was 70% empty and so was the breakfast cafe in the morning. My intuition tells me there were plenty of rooms available. Anyway, would not recommend this hotel and will not stay there again. Too bad, given that we travel to the area several times a year for athletic events.

This Spark by Hilton is the best. I have stayed here a number of different times, and it is always consistently my best hotel stays. The rooms and facilities are clean, bright, new, and has an upbeat positive feel. The staff is really so nice and welcoming. The front desk staff member, James is absolutely wonderful. He is so friendly and welcoming and always has a smile onhis face. A true professional. It just adds to the whole welcoming experience. I feel like I am in a familiar place. So nice, it feels like your second home, while you are away from home. I highly recommend this Spark. Also great location, and a relaxing place! Love it!!

Overall, my mom and I had a good experience and would recommend Spark by Hilton Exton. We were surrounded by a lovely fragrance upon walking in. The coffee / tea bar was well stocked and the cookies and dog treats by the entrance were an unexpected surprise. The beds, pillows and sheets were unbelievably soft and felt clean. The facilities, including the gym, were in overall great condition. However, there were a few oddities that struck out at us. First, the wall thermostat in our room didn't control the heating / cooling unit. The temperature needed to be adjust at the unit itself and I wasn't made aware of this detail. Second, the front desk staff weren't very warm or welcoming. The cleaning and kitchen crew had warm smiles to offer us but, not so from the front desk team. We didn't receive a genuine smile throughout our entire stay though we walked in and out of the hotel multiple times providing plenty of opportunity. Third, the shampoo and conditioner dispensers were empty in our bathroom. When we asked for it to be changed, we got conditioner and body lotion. All of these details wouldn't stop us from coming back but they are enough to prevent us from providing that final star. Despite these minute experiences, I still recommend Spark by Hilton Exton.

I recently stayed at this location as needed to be up early and didn’t want to drive from my home since it was a trek from where I needed to be. The two cons at this hotel were both the elevator being out of order and the noise from route 113 in front of the hotel. Very loud and did not get quiet until after 9 PM. You could still hear motorcycles passing like they were in the parking lot. Other than these two items the staff was very friendly, courteous and accommodating. The room was very clean and comfortable. Great location to many great restaurants, stores and shops in the area of Exton. If the elevator was working and the noise was not so loud outside the hotel I would have happily given five stars but for these reason I could only give three. Thanks

The hotel was recently renovated, clean and the staff was excellent. Jim at the front desk was friendly and gave us great suggestions for nearby restaurants. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. Downside- I was expecting more for breakfast. It was indeed continental- cereal, bagels, pastries, boiled eggs. Nothing hot but coffee and tea. But if you’re not staying for breakfast or eating it, that won’t bother you. Ours was a three night stay. Also a small pet peeve for me was that they pumped some sort of scent into their hallways, which was very strong. Also the hotel is on a busy corner, and located right by the fire station and ambulance services, so it gets a bit noisy during the day. If you’re a light sleeper the noise might bother you from the traffic. The fire and first aid services were not heard during the night. Overall, I would probably stay there again. If I were ever to be in that area again.

Clean, efficient, modern, quiet straight forward hotel. Breakfast was a disappointment. Just muffins and bagels (w jelly, butter, PB and cream cheese) and OJ. Coffee bar in the lobby open 24/7. Stayed over en route to a climbing competition. My teen obviously needed better fuel than that.

The breakfast was mediocre at best with bagels and nothing else. There were tiny apples and oranges that could not be opened. The cereal selection was also very limited. The orange juice was OK, however.
