We LOVED our stay! It was so lovely to have the saunas and steam in the spa, great outdoor/indoor pool, and wonderful access to sister hotel beach! Easy to get in and out of town on the bus! Nice breakfast with tons of healthy options! The hotel was wonderful we would absolutely stay again!!

Beautiful location 15 min to old town buses every 10 minutes Lovely pool and access to beaches and lovely walk down to sunset beach for spectacular sunsets close to Cococabana and Coral beaches Food at hotel good plenty choice staff very attentive Gym could be bigger for the number of guests as got very very busy Spa prices v costly though looked nice

The room is satisfactory and clean but airconditioning can be further improved. The phone in the room is also not working and was not repaired even after reported it. They provided us a free bottle of proseco for our anniversary so it was a great touch. The beach in front of the hotel was impressive with clear waters. The breakfast was amazing as well with great variety. Gym, spa and pool are also open for extended periods compared to other hotels (7am to 9pm). Highly recommended

Hotel part of several hotels which were next to each other, so services could be used in all the adjacent hotels. Big complex with buffets, playland, spa etc. Clean and luxurious feeling. Very good breakfast. Beautiful location and possibility to walk on small trails to the other hotels and to a hotel beach.

Excellent modern hotel, lots of activities for kids - the Maro World centre is brilliant (games, trampolines, soft play, video games, Lego, etc) and the pool options are great. Breakfast buffet also excellent. Lots of food options round the hotel and neighbourhood. Easy access to Dubrovnik Old Town area via bus or taxi. (Get the Dubrovnik pass)

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, nicely decorated and with a great balcony and view. The included breakfast buffet was delicious and had many options. The pools were really nice and the beach at the neighbouring hotel was incredible.

Staff seemed lovely but some were not very effective. The room was dirty, even after a few complaints, it wasn't fixed. They could so with an upgrade. The spa was brilliant, and I had the best Thai massage. The classes inntge gym which was one of the key reason I chose the hotel didn't happen, instructor didn't turn up and then said they wouldn't run. The pool was packed. Breakfast was delicious except for there being one drinks machine that you had to queue for For 10 minutes each time to get water or juice which spoiled it. I wouldn't stay here again, but I'm sure it would suit some people.

Die Hotelanlage ist sehr gross. Wir hatten ein zweistöckiges Apartment, das sehr schön eingerichtet war, inklusive zwei grosser Fernseher. Leider gab es in unserem Zimmer undichte Stellen, durch die Wasser eindrang. Der Weg zum Strand ist recht weit und schlecht beschildert. Angesichts der Zimmerpreise sollte es nicht notwendig sein, für die Liegestühle extra zu zahlen. Wir mussten dennoch "nur" 15 Euro für zwei Liegestühle und einen Sonnenschirm bezahlen.

Late check in went very smoothly. Amazing breakfast buffet, comfy beds no fitted sheets so the sheet went everything during the night. Also, screen in shower is too small and resulted into flooding half the bathroom. Lovely location on the water and quiet area, far from the bustle of old town Dubrovnik.

We enjoyed our stay here, the staff was kind and helpful. The place was clean. It is walking distance to good beaches which was what we wanted. The hotel does cater to an audience of cruise folks, not a negative but may not be everyone’s taste. You’ll have to drive to old town because there’s not much else to do around the hotel. The negatives: our room may need some upkeeping, there was a leak from the vent ceiling that we thought may be the AC. And the shower door did not prevent the water from flowing out everywhere when showering. And the pillows were incredibly flat even when folded to double up.

The hotel is clean and well-maintained. The staff were universally friendly, helpful, and efficient. The room was good, with a massive bed, but the linen was undersized and kept untucking. It was unusually hot while we were there. Our room was on the top floor and the air conditioning struggled to keep the temperature down. Reception kindly reduced the minimum temperature when I raised the issue. That helped, but even with the aircon set at 17 deg C 24 hours a day, the room was never really cool other than in the early hours of the morning. Our sons stayed on the second floor and their room was fine, so I assume the issue is heat soaking through the ceiling from the roof space. It's a short walk down to the water. We went for a swim in the sea every morning before breakfast - best bit of the holiday! The buffet breakfast was great. I was less impressed with the buffet dinner (which I only had once). There were lots of options, but nothing was particularly impressive. I tried several of the desserts at the end and was genuinely surprised at how poor most of them were. It's a small thing, but both the filter and espresso machine coffee were dreadful. It really took the shine off an otherwise excellent breakfast experience. Another small thing: the shower gel was rubbish (both smell and lathering) and there was no conditioner. Despite imperfections, overall we were happy with the experience and would return (as long as they could guarantee a room on a lower floor).

El hotel esta limpio pero las camas son bastante regulares. Las almohadas peores. Las sabanas super pequeñas. Solo te dan jabon de ducha. La comida regular y muy cara. Esta muy lejos de la playa. Pero la playa es fantastica es una playa privada con muchass tumbonas y sombrillas. La piscina esta muy bien y tambien tiene muchas tumbonas

Hotel is set back from the beach and does take a while to walk to the beach at the presidential hotel. The rooms we got were not great facing the lobby and looking over the road.

I liked this 4-star hotel. Hotel about a 30 minute drive from the airport. Easy check-in, room was clean and service was quick when we asked for extra pillows and other items for the room. Pool was refreshing and wasnt difficult finding lounging if you were there early enough. Beach at Presidente Valamar was a short walk away and is recommended if one prefers. 15 euro to use with towels. Restaurant there as well. Promenade was nice to leisurely walk in the evening. Wifi wasn't great at times. Breakfast buffet had many options. Noticed the hotel was wheelchair accessibility. I definitely would recommend. Am surprised there wasnt a shuttle from Valamar properties to the airport. Would make sense to have to align with their eco friendly atmosphere. Private driver was 58 euro which coukd be paid at the hotel.

Never write reviews, but this place had a lot of issues. Room was damp and had an odor but we’re just staying there, not living there so we let it go. The staff and service was really poor and. Quite frankly very rude.

Hadde et veldig fint opphold på dette hotellet. De ansatte på hotellet er veldig hyggelige og hjelpsomme. Vi fikk oppgradert det ene rommet til V-blokk, som er helt fantastisk. Det andre rommet var mot baren ute, så en del støy til litt sent på kvelden. Minste gutt på 10 år slet litt med å sovne p.g.a støyen. Sa ifra til resepsjonen men var vanskelig å bytte rom fordi hotellet var fullt. Uteområdene, bassengene både inne og ute er bra. Frokosten er veldig bra. Anbefaler å bo på dette hotellet.

This hotel or RESORT goes up there as one of the best we’ve ever experienced!!! Immediately welcomed at the check in by Marin, who I would say was a total gentleman throughout our whole stay. Very knowledgeable about the restaurants in the area as well. The junior suite exceeded our expectations. Grounds are well maintained and everything is clean. The pool is amazing with wonderful amenities. Breakfast is all you can ask for! Live music on a Sunday evening from our balcony, topped off the whole experience! 10 out of 10 highly recommend!

Our stay at Valamar Lacroma was delightful! We informed them we were on our honeymoon and they upgraded our room to a stunning Suite, such a thoughtful gesture! We especially loved every staff member we met, their service was top tier. We especially want to give a shout out to Dubravka and Hrvoje at the front desk who helped us with a very complicated issue and spent quite some time translating for us! We also got great recommendations and service from Dominik and Marin! Also have to mention breakfast, loved the selections! One side note, you do have to walk pretty far for the beach. We definitely wished that there was a more private beach option we could use with lounge chairs that you don't have to pay for.

Nossa estadia em Dubrovinick era de 4 dias, a atendente da recepção infelizmente não estava em um dia bom, e além de nos dar um atendimento terrível, colocou no quarto mais distante de todo hotel, uma vez que haviam quartos vagos mais próximos, tanto que conseguimos a mudança depois de já estarmos alocados. We stayed here for several days and the proximity to the bus for travel into Old Town Dubrovnik was very easy. The room was beautiful and bed very comfortable. We had a beautiful view of the ocean from our 5th floor balcony. Restaurant called Piramida was just a short walk down the hill and was so delicious we ate there 4 times. Breakfast was beyond outstanding from made to order omelettes, fresh breads, fruits and delicious meats. So much variety! Lots for families from what we could see. Just an excellent experience all the way!

Très bel hôtel plutôt calme sauf lors d'un congrès où les extérieurs ont été privatisés (très bruyant et inaccessible pour les voyageurs). Buffet complet pour tous les goûts (petit dej continental plutôt qualitatif). Très bonne literie, petits concerts le soir, très bel espace piscine. Un peu loin du centre-ville (attention les parkings de Dubrovnik sont très chers). Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas plus de communication sur la restauration dans et à proximité de l'hôtel. We had a very good experience. Got upgraded to a room with ocean view and it was fantastic. And the room even had a heating lamp above the sink so it’s warmer when you get out of the shower, smart! Staff were friendly and very fast check in and out! Breakfast was really good and you basically had everything there! There’s a bus stop nearby that takes you to old town in 15 min!

We had a short stay here. All staff were welcoming and accommodating. Coming just after the summer school holidays also an advantage as the pool area never felt over crowded or noisy. Light entertainment in the evening if you decide to eat at the hotel. Bus stop is just outside the Hotel with buses running around every 10 minutes to the old town. Time to and from between 10 and 20 minutes depending on the time of day and tickets can be purchased for a small discount from the hotel shop. We also went down to the beach which is public but not bad through sunbeds are a little expensive. Over all I would definitely recommend to a friend and happily stay again.

The property was located in an excellent area and bus no.6 is cross the street to take you to old town. The bus tickets could be purchased in the hotel and it was really easy and convenient to access the old town without a car. The dining options are excellent, breakfast was included and had excellent choices and options. Really impressed with the whole experience at Valamar Lacroma Hotel. We also had access to the beach in the sister hotel President and the service and staff was excellent throughout the property. Highly recommend this hotel. 10 out of 10 ratings.

Gorgeous hotel and loved the indoor pool. The check in staff were friendly. The only downside was the buffet restaurant - breakfast was okay but the service was poor. Many tables had not been set, and we had to take cutlery off another table. Food was just okay. The dinner buffet was worse. Took 20 minutes for our drinks to come, again no cutlery. Food was just okay again but definitely not worth €35 pp. breakfast was included in the price of our stay, but I would suggest going out of the hotel for dinner. L'hôtel est très grand, c'est un peu l'usine d'ailleurs au moment du petit déjeuner, mais le personnel fait son possible pour assurer le rythme. La restauration du soir est limitée à 21h30 ce qui est un peu juste lorsqu'on a des horaires de vacances. Les cocktails au bar ne sont pas de grande qualité malgré leur prix. Les chambres sont confortables et spacieuses. Les 2 piscine assez grande et agréable, toutes les deux avec un bar dédié + snacking, un point positif. Il y a un spa en supplément. Il y a 2 parking gratuit à l'hôtel donc c'est pratique. Par contre l'hôtel est assez excentré de la vieille ville, il faut absolument une voiture pour s'y rendre, ou alors en transport en bus, mais je n'ai pas testé.

Beautiful property & clean room! However my friend had to go to the hospital because she got food poisoning from the snack bar by the pool. Not happy about that as she is still very sick and we still have some time for our trip. She had to pay to get IV and medication, we are complaining to the managers.

Nice hotel, rooms are much more dated than reception and key areas of the hotel. Noisy till late on the ground floor and did not enjoy that drinks were at cost at dinner (even water) and extremely overpriced. Spa was great but treatments are overpriced. Good variety of buffet food for breakfast and dinner but allergies not handled well at all - no nut labels for me as a nut allergy sufferer and staff were clueless about helping me which was disappointing

Staff seemed lovely but some were not very effective. The room was dirty, even after a few complaints, it wasn't fixed. They could so with an upgrade. The spa was brilliant, and I had the best Thai massage. The classes inntge gym which was one of the key reason I chose the hotel didn't happen, instructor didn't turn up and then said they wouldn't run. The pool was packed. Breakfast was delicious except for there being one drinks machine that you had to queue for For 10 minutes each time to get water or juice which spoiled it. My experience at this hotel was very disappointing. The rooms are extremely outdated—not just mine, but my friends’ rooms as well. We also had a serious issue with the air conditioning. Water was leaking from a ceiling light fixture, which felt incredibly unsafe. The hotel sent someone to inspect it, but he didn’t seem to know what was wrong. He literally said, “Oh, funny, it stopped,” even though water had been dripping onto his face while he was standing there, and the carpet was completely soaked. To make matters worse, the bed was covered in hair, which made it clear that the room hadn’t been cleaned properly. Overall, this hotel is definitely not worth the price. The rooms look nothing like the photos advertised, and based on my experience, I would never stay here again.

wonderful hotel to stay with beautiful pool and spa and wonderful views of the ocean. If you do not want to be in the crowds and noise of Dubrovnik, and planning yo rent a car, the hotel has good parking and you can take the bus or a cab into town.
