Just fabulous. Enjoyed every minute of our stay. Dive centre on site very handy & easy access to sea, spare sun-beds every day.

Stunning hotel. Views are outstanding. Only ate at the lanyern restaurant which was really nice. Drinks on the pricey side but it is to be expected. Bus number 4 straight into the old town every 15 minutes. Paddle tennis courts, pools, diving centre - loads to do. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Great hotel. The junior suite offers the comfort for a family. The pools and scheduled beaches are great. We had an issue with creaky bed and exhaust in one bathroom. The staff quickly fixed the problem. Short taxi ride to old town to avoid parking $$.

This property is beautiful. Our view was breathtaking. The pool and swim area were wonderful.

Warm, friendly professional staff & stunning views greet you as you enter the palatial lobby. The free breakfast buffet far excelled my expectations with made-to-order eggs, fresh fruit, local meats & cheeses—espresso drinks too! Seaside pool with swim up bar? Yes, please. Sea access, too. Book a junior suite! You won’t be disappointed. Walkable to promenade shopping and restaurants. The on-site restaurants offered delightful fare & great service.

That old saying ‘You get what you pay for’ is certainly true here. Paid for balcony room and it was worth it. Wonderful indoor and outside pool. Inside with jacuzzis. Easy parking at the hotel and no need to take car into city centre. Just catch the number 4 bus literally outside the hotel which is the first and last stop. 2.5 euro. Reception is on the 8th floor, beach 1. Highly recommended. Only slight negative, not enough coffee, tea and milk sachets in room.

I had a one person room and spent 3 nights there. I enjoyed the beautiful scenery from the upstairs reception and lobby bar and of course from the room and the private balcony. Also tried the indoor pool and the Sauna. The pool area downstairs I'm sure would be great during the summer, now it wasn't quite warm enough for swimming for me outside for that. The room was beautiful and clean, service was great as well, everybody were nice and happy to help with any questions. The breakfast had a plentitude of options, the food was good and the view over the adriatic sea was even better. Would recommend, especially during the Summer season!

Spacious general areas, regular bus service into town centre, good leisure facilities

The cleanliness of the room was horrible, where we could see the dust on the furniture what is not acceptable for a 5 star hotel. The furniture was damage what is not acceptable for the price paid and for a 5 start hotel. The front office staff was very impersonal/attentive, upon check out never asked "how was the stay" "did you enjoy or have any issue". They think just because they have an incredible view that is enough, but 5 start property the goal is to exceed the guest expectations and not the opposite.

Excellent location and facilities in the hotel. Complimentary breakfast was fantastic. Good range of coffee drinks available too by request. Enjoyed the spa, beach and pools. Only quip is the housekeeping could be more thorough. Teacups were washed poorly in the room and had stains, and teas/coffee not refilled until I rang them. Central AC could be cooler since no way to control it in the room. Welcome note and fruit was a nice touch.

Location was perfect overlooking the Adriatic beautiful sunset. Bus stop right outside of the hotel was perfect for visiting the old town. Short walk in the local area and ate fabulous food! Area is a bit expensive but had a fabulous time. Hotel was spotless and staff were very friendly. Definitely recommend if you're staying in Dubrovnik anytime

Beautiful views, helpful staff, great spa and indoor pool along with outdoor pool with plenty of loungers and access to sea. However, pool was freezing cold, room didn’t get fully cleaned every day, ie no clean coffee cups, glasses, tables not cleaned, would have expected this for 5star

The hotel rooms need major renovations, same goes for the hotel lobby. There was water damage visible on the ceilings that need to be painted over

Enjoyed our stay at the hotel minus a few issues. When we first turned up, they tried to check us into an inferior room we didn’t order but we resolved that in the first hour. Not a great start but we moved rooms. Room was noisy every night which negatively impacted sleep due to other guests stomping around for hours, slamming doors etc. but cleaners were great and everything was clean every day. Staff were great, breakfast buffet was average along with restaurant food but fresh, sea was beautiful. Plenty of beds and towels at beach which was great. Hotel guests were not the classiest at times but overall, great experience. Beautiful location.

Hotel is a bit dated and needs refurbishing.

We stayed in room 907 on the same floor as the reception. The A/C in our room never went below 25 degrees Celsius. We called the front desk and they said it should take some time for the temperature in the room to decrease. We stayed two days and the room was always warm and never went below 25* Celsius. Also, the shower water temperature vacillated between extremely hot and extremely cold. The shower water temperature could not maintain a consistent temperature even when I did not touch the temperature gauge. Overall, it was a fantastic stay with great customer service, food, and amenities. It’s just weird that little things like A/C and shower water temperature was broken or malfunctioning. Finally, Ines at guest services is an amazing professional and took care of all of my questions and even went above and beyond to make my honeymoon surprises for my spouse extra special.

This hotel is beautiful, I highly recommend it. We were on the 8th floor with wonderful views of the sea and islands. We took Ubers into old town for touring, yet there is also a bus that comes to the hotel that is an option. Walkable to a nearby promenade filled with restaurants, a little uphill on the way back for less than half a mile. The breakfast was great, many options in the buffet. We went in late October and missed the crowds, which we liked. Glad we chose to stay here.

Rude staff, horrible WiFi, food is average and over priced. Wouldn’t recommend this facility.

Hotel engañoso que pretende ser de 5 estrellas pero esta muy lejos de serlo, habitaciones amplias con una terraza y vistas increibles. Servicio de habitaciones inexistente, tuvimos las tazas sucias los 4 dias de estancia, el personal no hace nada por si mismo si no se lo pides. Wifi terrible en cualquier parte del hotel, con cortes constantes en las zonas comunes y habitacion. Comida terrible, el buffet parece el de un motel de carretera, no hay cocina en el momento, todo precalentado y restos de comidas anteriores, personal totalmente pasota, no les importa lo mas minimo el huesped. Piscina y playa correctas pero con sitios insuficientes, cuesta encontrar tumbona, tienen una zona vip con piscina y tumbonas que hay que reservar, aun estando vacias no te dejan tumbarte. Ubicacion, a una hora andando del centro de dubrovnik, autobus de linea en la puerta 2,5€ el trayecto te deja en 15-20 min en el centro. Aparcamiento a cargo del personal del hotel gratuito. Revisad bien la factura al hacer el check out, si tienes algún descuento de expedia se les “olvida” aplicarlo. Lo dicho, precio de 5 estrellas, servicio de 3 estrellas. Una pena porque el hotel podria explotarse mejor

This hotel is very good, facilities are excellent, pool area and beach are very nice. The only thing we didn’t like is that the room and floor decor are outdated.

The so called air conditioning in the room remained fairly constantly at 24 to 24.5 degrees. It was 30 or over outside at the time of our stay. The first person who was sent to fix it said it was working properly by waving a probe right by the ceiling vent and then left. We had a deluxe sea view room, perhaps in a smaller room the system may cope better. The second person confirmed that the system was working but you can only get 3 degrees below a certain temperature. He suggested we keep the curtains shut and leave the system on constantly. It was uncomfortably hot at night. It felt like we were staying in a cave with the black out blinds shut in the vain hope it might get cooler. We could not appreciate what is a lovely view or use the balcony. Rather than trying to give us another room we were sent a bottle of prosecco and a letter saying the system would be fixed. It never was. Its not five star on a lot of levels from the cheap fixtures in the room, the buffet breakfast that was plentiful but not great on quality to the general feel of the place. It's tired, old lifts, the windows in the restaurant looked dirty and the plants outside the restaurant looked half dead. Its like a very busy four star conference hotel. The staff are generally curteous, but some on the front desk were quite abrupt and sadly ineffectual in helping. The location is good and the view beautiful if you can enjoy it, but I wish I had stayed somewhere else.

Jacuzzi facility was very good. Room A/C was not efficient despite request to adjust the Thermostat from 23C to 21C. Staff provided a portable fan!

We had the most incredible stay at The Palace Hotel. From arrival to departure, the staff were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble and they were all very hardworking. The hotel itself is modern, well maintained and impeccably clean. Even when there was a large group staying for a conference, staff were as attentive as any other day. Not one member of staff we came across didn’t smile or say hello. Their level of customer service rivals The Savoy and The Ritz in London.The room was spacious with a well placed balcony where you could watch the sunset. The bathroom amenities were excellent, cruelty free and locally sourced. Housekeeping kept our room spotless and the welcome fruit basket and water were excellent, as was the turn down service with quality chocolate treats. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were also both excellent, with complimentary fruit tea available. Breakfast was a feast with foods from around the world. Again, nothing was too much trouble and staff were attentive while allowing you the freedom to enjoy your meal and the beautiful views. Even when clearing tables, they were balancing entire trays of crockery while folding a tablecloth and were consummately professional the entire time. In the foyer there is a lovely bar and you can relax on any of the sofas or seating areas. Afternoon coffee came with complimentary petit fours and evening cocktails with pretzels. Again, the staff were exceptional. Thank you for such a memorable stay. You’re amazing.

A estrutura do hotel é maravilhosa, mas o atendimento deixou e muito a desejar. Pelo porte do hotel deveriam investir em treinamento de equipe. Sei que gestão de pessoas é bem complicado mas é primordial na hotelaria. Equipe despreparada, dormindo durante o trabalho sentado na cadeira da piscina. Pedimos um drink na piscina o garçom nunca mais voltou. Sentamos no setor de acesso à praia e fomos convidados a se retirar porque ali somente com reserva. Fomos até a recepção nos informar para fazer a reserva e foi dito que não era necessário. Bem, algumas coisas que merecem ser melhoradas no quesito atendimento que deixou muito a desejar. Demais um excelente hotel!

A very nice hotel. Helpful staff, great location with easy transport to old town.

We absolutely loved every moment of our trip and had the most beautiful wedding at Vala Beach! The staff was incredible and went above and beyond to make sure every guest felt happy and cared for.

My main comment about the Dubrovnik Palace is the Staff. They are so friendly and cannot do enough to assist you. The location is also perfect overlooking the beautiful Adriatic Sea and the hotel oozes serenity and calmness as soon as you enter the reception area.

We booked 3 rooms in December for this hotel, looking at pool amenities available. When we got to the hotel we were told that they had given our rooms away, we checked in at 4pm, and there was nothing they could do but put us in a different hotel. We were told it was an upgrade and despite looking it up and telling them that it absolute wasn’t they would not honor our booking. Having no choice we went to the other hotel, the pool area had zero amenities, was full of dirty towels. We had to get our own loungers, umbrellas, and it took over an hour to get any drinks as there was very limited service. We were offered dinner in the hotel but we didn’t travel to Dubrovnik to eat in the hotel. All together a serious lack of respect from the Dubrovnik Palace. This was not the experience we expected or paid for. They should be ashamed of their behavior but they seriously just didn’t care.

What a wonderful stay! The view from our room was amazing! They upgraded our room which was awesome! The restaurant was delicious! Easy to take the bus to the old City, right by the hotel entrance. You can even but your city pass at the hotel. The staff was incredible as well. Perfect 10/10!

Beautiful views and a bit away from the center. But the ride to the center is about 20 euros or a few euros on the bus ride, which stops right in front. The premise is nice but not a 5 star by American standards. There was a lot of food for the breakfast buffet. I enjoyed going to the roof pool. We had a balcony in our room with a nice water view. I would recommend being away from the hustle and tourism in the old town.

It’s in a great location. Beautiful sunsets every night. Close to old town by bus right outside the hotel. Quiet location.

The property is well kept . Its location is pretty close to the ocean promenade with many dining options . In addition the bus to the old city stopes in front of the hotel and only takes like about 20 minutes to pila gate and runs from early in the morning to late at night for 2.5 euro per person

Moderno pero a la vez acogedor. Con mucha luz y muy cómodo. Desayuno muy bueno e instalaciones impecables. Las piscinas están genial y el acceso al mar muy bien también. Tiene justo en frente unas paradas de autobús que te lleva directamente a la entrada de la ciudad amurallada.

Great location with a bus 1 min away to get to old town - beautiful room with incredible views. Comfortable bed. We didn't get to try the restaurant but maybe next time! Would come back to this hotel for sure.

Amazing views and about 1/2 mile walk to Sunset Beach area. Scuba diving on site. 6-7 Euro uber or direct bus ride to Old Town.

The property itself is gorgeous and the accommodations were above and beyond what we expected. Everyone was friendly and helpful if needed. The location was a little far from Old Town if thats your primary interest BUT there is a bus that leaves the front of the hotel every 15 minutes, the public transporation was very easy to use. Very resort feeling with easy accessibility to the hustle bustle of the Old Town. Also, their daily breakfast was phenomenal.

Large rooms. Nice pool. Food in all restaurants mediocre. Go for the view, not the food. 20 euro cab ride to town but city bus stops in front of hotel, every 20 minutes

Nice property and great views. Food wasn't the great at the reataurants but the buffets were really good.

Everything but the food is 5 stars. We got a free upgrade and the room and balcony were huge. Worth the price. Only let down for me was the breakfast buffet, it was nice to have gluten free bread and muffins but the rest of the buffet was sub par. Lots of options just didn’t love the flavor of things.

Stunning property with amazing views from balcony. Rooms were very nice with good AC. Breakfast had many options. The food overall was average and I would expect better quality for such a grand hotel, though this really did not take away from an overall great experience!

Amazing microlocation with a vast seafront and impeccable views from almost anywhere. The biggest criticism concerns the food in both hotel restaurants — poor quality and hugely overpriced. The massage treatment in the spa was bordering on incompetent, and expensive as well. Not what you should expect in a 5-star resort.

The staff were amazing and very friendly. The hotel was very clean. Facilities were great. The dinner buffet wasn't great. Maybe we hit it on a bad night. So we hit the local town for the other nights which is about a 15 minute walk away. Lots of lovely bars and restaurants. The hotel only serves very small bottles of water unless you order it via room service for 6 Euros !! Instead of small complimentary chocolates every night I would have preferred a bottle of water for the room. There is a convenience shop about a 10 min walk. Sells the equivalent large bottle for a Euro ! The sunset lounge / bar was unfortunate a bit soulless. It's fairly large so not sure what could be done to improve it but it just felt there was no atmosphere. Maybe an open air terrace ? Small gripes for what is a lovely hotel though.
