This place is great. If you're entering or exiting Paris via either Gare du Nord or Gare de l'Est, this location is incredibly convenient. I could hear the Metro rumbling down below, but it didn't keep me awake at all; it was easy to sleep through. And it was one of the best hotel beds I've ever slept in. Firm and comfortable. The staff were also very respectful and patient, letting me practice my mediocre French and switching to English when necessary.

This Hotel ticks all boxes. Excellent location, room bright ( french windows ..) very clean, and well kept with facilities & service well above expected in the price range . Stayed prev. in several hotels same price range & higher in the area, this Libertel Gare d'East stands out well above any of them - no competition. High standard all over and well mainiatined. I'll be back for a third time..and more . Fallon in the reception very helpfull during the stay, and on check-in made sure I got the same room "as last time" and physically checked it was OK done and ready.. I say, what's not to like ....!

Clean room with fridge and kettle, located right next to Gard de L'est with supermarket next door. Staff were super, they let me check in early as a room was available. I forgot my USB charger, they did not have any spare in reception so receptionist loaned me his personal charger (life-saver!). I will stay again.

Great room with a balcony. Near to the train station, which is right across the street. The supermarket is right next door. Lots of restaurants around. There are great transport links such as the bus and the metro very close.
