Stayed 1 night

Our room was not ready at 330p. We needed to be freshened up, changed, and out the door by 430p. We had supper RSVP downtown at 5p. Needless to say, we met with “I came too early, not their problem, and what do you want us to do about it? I can downgrade your room (that would not fit our family).” So we waited in the lobby with another couple having the same problem. All public spaces smelling of Mary Jane, cigarettes, and dirt. The room was okay but the Queen bed, my husband asked if it was plywood. No but very close. The sofa bed is that, a sofa that is a bed, not a pull-out. The towels were all dirty with dried food stains and smelled of dirt. They had not been washed, so we skipped the showers. Breakfast was so overwhelming with guests waiting for just cereal and an active loud conversation about Dad using the waffle maker, “for too long.” As he said, “ I have 3 kids and they are hungry too.” He made one waffle and was making the 2nd for the 2nd kid. The dining room was overwhelmed with people upset and nowhere for us 4 to sit. People sitting with bags in their seats and nowhere for others to sit. The person at the desk, with 6-inch nails on the barstool could not be bothered. Parking lot trashed and I never saw anyone helping guests find food. Just a lot of unhappy guests. RUN!
