I love this Hampton Inn. I bring my granddaughters for an overnight stay every few months just to spend time in the pool. The pool is very kid friendly and a special treat for them. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the continental breakfast is always fresh

The place was packed and when we went to the pool, there were no towels and the front desk said there wasn’t anymore. I said I would use the room towels and call for more of those later. She then said wait and got me pool towels. The pool/hot tub had so many chemicals in it that it burnt our eyes and we were only in there for 20 minutes.

Friendly staff, clean room, nice pool. Hot tub wasn’t real hot I guess but still enjoyable. Would like bigger coffee cups, end up taking more cups since so small. Doesn’t seem like saving money but it’s ok just a thought :).

I Love returning to this great hotel. They have the best breakfast and it’s a quiet, large hotel with very nice employees. The rooms are great- very spacious. The only issue this time was the hot tub. It was not hot. Still, the best deal in Madison. This is my go-to hotel every time I visit Madison.

This is a really nice hotel. Great facilities (weight room, pool, laundry), good value, and quite an expansive hot breakfast. The staff was professional, helpful, and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely stay here again if our travel plans take us to Madison, WI.

Someone was smoking in the room next to us and filled our room with smoke smell for 2 days. Beds had some sort of plastic under them and every time you moved they made a noise. Very uncomfortable mattresses. Pool area was filthy and unsafe as the tile was incredibly slipper and full of a slimey substance. Housekeepers did a good job tiding our room.

Not a bad experience, staff was friendly and the beds were comfy. There was a dirty washcloth from the previous guest folded up in the shower curtain and there was a used condom on the floor by the elevator, so cleanliness could definitely be improved upon. And the parki g lot had a very strong smell of weed every time we were outside.

The staff was very kind but breakfast was lacking especially for someone with a food allergy. Typically Hampton inns have gluten free options and this location did not. Beds were ok, room was clean and so was lobby.

There was a giant centipede crawling across our ceiling as we were waking, note were deathly disgusted by those monsters, and ants all over the floor in the pool/hot tub area. They didn’t do anything about this issue which I thought was a bit underwhelming. Would not stay again.

The pool looked nice but I did not have time to access it. I was disappointed in the room I was given. I would have asked for a different room but had already partially unpacked when I became aware of its problem. I was given a room on the highway side of the building which meant a constant hum of noise. The view was of cars racing by. There was a nice lounge chair which I was reluctant to use because it had a large greasy looking stain on the seat. The towel hanger on the door was loose and partially detached. I was unhappy with being given this problematic room in that it was a large room and the breakfasts were good. Even though the hotel was busy Saturday night, the room was still quiet except for the traffic and occasionally the person overhead. If I were to stay there again, I would ask for a room on the other side and on the top floor which would have helped.

For what we paid for a king bedroom I would have expected a microwave. The fan didn't work in the bathroom.The one outlet by the bed couldn't be used because plug wasn't able to stay in. It was fine because there were others to use. Overall it was very clean and quiet. The breakfast area was huge and lots of choices

The building and rooms are a little banged up, but there was nothing too egregious. The pool area was clean, but deafeningly loud with the water from the splash pad area in there. Our room was small, but comfortable and it was clean. Biggest issue with the room was the AC unit, it worked but was either constantly running or it allowed the room to get warm and stagnant unless you turned the thermostat down again. The front desk staff was consistently helpful and friendly. The property was quiet, didn’t even really hear closing doors in the hallway despite the property being pretty busy while we stayed. If you’re not looking for luxury, just looking for a clean, comfortable place to sleep and not spend a fortune, it’s a good choice.

I've been to this hotel a few times now and the front desk staff is superb. No matter the hour or the person... I've always been greeted with a smile and have been treated with politeness and a willingness to help. Excellent customer service. Aside from that... I come for the pool.. My grandkids want to stay in it the entire time we are here. A great shallow pool designed for families. The clean rooms, great location and continental breakfast are just added bonuses

Upon checking in- our room felt a little warm. We set the thermostat to a lower temp and didn’t seem to change. I texted the front desk to please check the temperature in our room while we were out. Jake from the front desk checked our room temperature and it was still too warm. He reset the air unit and updated me. He returned to the room to check that it had cooled the room down which it had. Jake was extremely attentive and continually updated us every step of the way. Upon our return for the night, our room was a perfect temperature.

My credit card was charged multiple times by the hotel due to system issues, resulting in over $3,000 on hold. A personal item was also taken from my room, and after some persistence, the front desk clerk finally agreed to retrieve it. Staff was friendly and nice. Easy and free parking. Hotel was in a good location and quiet. Some furniture in the room, like the bathroom vanity had worn wood from the years but everything was clean. Breakfast was good but, there were other guests picking up food like eggs and potatoes with their fingers instead of using the provided utensils.

Beautiful lobby and breakfast area, good free breakfast, loved that it was available until 10. Seems either new or very recently updated, nice rooms, nice pool, nice staff. Great value. Not a criticism but it is 20 minutes from UW so not real convenient if going there.

I would like to share a few concerns: 1. The A/C heating blower is extremely noisy. I had to turn it off in the middle of the night to be able to sleep. 2. The bathtub was not draining properly. 3. A very important issue I’d like to highlight is regarding breakfast. Bacon, egg omelets, and scrambled eggs were placed together in the same chafing dish, causing them to mix flavors. This arrangement is not suitable for vegetarians and should be addressed by using separate dishes.

Love this location and the big breakfast available. Unfortunately when they ran out of eggs at 9:50am and I asked if they had more they said they did not speak english and then they never refilled it (breakfast went until 10am I believe.). I guess that was my fault for being so late. I also notified a lot of unsupervised children who were very loud and running all over the place. May have been the time of year but when my daughter and I were there last summer it was much quieter, cleaner and efficient.
