I got to park only feet from my door. The parking lot is a bit tight but not to bad. The room was clean and ac worked well and better lighting. I've stayed in a few places recently and I'll probably come back her over the others. I'll see what breakfast is like in the morning. They make it sound like it's going to be pretty good.

The location is very convenient, close to the interstate and right into town. The motel is a very old building but in good shape. The bedding and furnishings were clean, but the remote control and door handles were pretty filthy. It was evident they don't clean the walls or handles on anything in the room on a regular basis, or after each vacancy. Overall it was a decent place to stay the night.

Our room at the Thunderbird Motel in Elko was as clean and tidy as they always are. This motel is thoroughly cared for and always offers an excellent stay. The only downside to this visit was a slightly disappointing continental breakfast. With the exception of the microwaveable breakfast sandwiches, everything else was sugared or sweetened. Please offer unsweetened oatmeal and/or cereals for those who cannot eat sugar or sweeteners. Thank you.

Toilet seat not secure to the bowl. Inadequate water flow in toilet when flushed. Could not handle solid waste without clogging. Poor quality housekeeping. Urine stains on toilet when I checked in. Bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, firm but soft. Good quality towels, shampoo, body wash. Heater heats up very quickly. Good water pressure. Good size tv. Breakfast:coffee, orange juice, milk, self cook waffles, English muffins, wheat breads, mini muffins, 2 cornflake cereals, dannon yogurt cups, microwaveable Jimmy Dean breakfast egg sausage and cheese sandwich on croissant or on English muffins. The owner couple is very nice. Building, tub, sink and furnishings are outdated which reflects in the low price. So we give it a 4 stars because everything worked well and excellent beddings and free breakfast. Thank you for a great night sleep!

The stay was fine. Staff was friendly. One of the cleaners did enter our room after the first night without permission. Took our dirty towels and replaced them and threw away all of our cups didn’t give us more but did nothing else. They really need do not disturb signs so that won’t happen. It was a little upsetting. We waited for one of the staff to apologize for entering our room on accident, or whatever the situation was, and we never heard anything from them. Room was OK. As with any other older hotel, it was dated and some of the linen should probably be replaced, don’t know that I would stay here again.

The staff is great! They’re very friendly, understanding, and helpful. I messed up on my reservation. I thought I’d booked two nights instead of one and it was completely my fault. Instead of kicking me out, they let me reserve another night at a little bit higher rate and keep my same room. It was also all worked out over the phone, which was so accommodating of them. The location is a little noisy but that’s the nature of Elko. It’s a bit of a rowdy place.

We arr always looking for a hotel that isn't to expensive to stay at that splits up our trips. This place was nice because they had comfortable beds, it was clean, and had a nice working bathroom. Breakfast was nice because they had Jimmy Dean sausage and egg sandwichs along with the typical cereal, yogurt, milk, orange juice, and waffles. We appreciated this because we prefer protein options for breakfast and places that have breakfast similiar to this motel usually don't have a protein option.
