Pool and Hot tub heaters were broken and so was twice machine. Had to go to front desk for ice. When I called my booking agent about this the Gen Manager lied and said there were no issues. This was a family trip and not only my kids/family but other families experienced These issues as well. With it being a Hyatt brand it's definitely on the lower end

The hot tub was broken. It was the main reason why we were going to stay there. Also the keypad from the hot tub and swimming pool to the hotel was also broken. Had to knock on the fitness center window for someone to let us in. Ladies, if you want to apply your make up, good luck. The lighting was horrible. Could barely see to brush my teeth. There was no fresh fruit for your yogurt. Very limited breakfast menu choices. We will not stay here again.

It was obvious that the bathroom was not cleaned prior to our arrival. The pool and hot tub had dirty water and with leaves in them. Furthermore, the hot tub jets were on and it was cold! Staff was nice but explained that they have been having a lot of issues with it.

The property was in renovation. Elevator was not working correctly and walls were filled with graffiti. The staff shortage was noticeable especially at breakfast. They kept running out of coffee and food. Our room was not cleaned/serviced during our stay. The refrigerator was broken and the hotel maintenance could not pull the old unit from the wall as the plug was behind a built-in panel. The staff did try to assist, but they kept running into barriers. So sad as I expected more from the Hyatt line of hotels.

Generally good. The breakfast was plentiful and very good. I asked the staff if the hot tub worked and they said yes-when I got there there was a yellow caution banner across it. I turned it on and it came on so I went in but it was ice cold. The room was a little run down-shower door warped top of toilet broken and looked like it was repaired with super glue. But otherwise in general clean, pillows too mushy-if they have 4 pillows on the bed, why can't two be firm and two be mushy so everyone is satisfied?

We checked in to a dirty room. My 3 year old found a bowl and fork under the couch bed in our room. There was hair in our shower from the previous guest. We woke up to a roach crawling across the bathroom floor. To top it all off, they didn't clean our room at all the two days we were there. I will say, when we contacted them the first day about finding the fork and bowl and the hair, they did come up and vacuum and remake our bed. But the hair in the shower didn't get taken care of and they didn't take out the trash in which the fork and bowl were placed. We expected a higher standard of clean because of the name Hyatt, but we could have saved money and checked into an average hotel with the same standards that we were met with.

Everything was loud. When someone would close their door, it sounded like someone was trying to get in mine. When someone's toilet flushed it was like mine was flushing. Then there were water sounds coming from the wall like water was leaking. The carpets were very stained and hair was in the shower and on the "clean" face rags.

The light on the right hand side of the bed we couldn't shut off we had to unplug it. The air conditioner fan came on then and didn't shut off for a long while and it was very noisy. It was so loud I asked my husband if there was a truck idling outside.

The breakfast had a good variety. Scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, yogurt, fresh cantaloupe and honey dew. Oatmeal, cereal, bagels and toast. The rooms were roomy and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

Noise in the hallways was aweful! Kids were running through the halls and screaming. That paired with paper thin walls and floor made it very noisy. We could also hear a dog barking in another room. We didn't get much sleep. We could hear the person in the room above us use their bathroom. Disgusting!

Very disappointed in room design. Bathroom was so cramped I had to step into the shower to close the bathroom door to use the toilet. Curtain in the room also allowed too much light into the room (not blackout) so hard to sleep in. In room safe was unable to be used, could not be programmed to lock. Breakfast was the exact same three days in a row, no variety. Noise from the next door room easily heard making it difficult to sleep at night. Overall a very disappointing visit for three days.

There was no hot water in the room. When we called down, the front desk staff indicated that they had had some type of water main issue and told us to let it run. The water never got warm. This happened within 10 minutes of checking in. We should have been notified of this problem at check in or upon reservation.

NO HOT WATER!!! We have stayed at several Hyatt properties. Never had a bad experience until this stay. We weren’t told that it here was no hot water at check in. When we realized there was no hot water, we were informed by front desk staff that there was a water line break earlier in the week and that the hot water wasn’t working. Very disappointing experience. I don’t even know how they are allowed to operate without hot water. Very poor experience.

Very disappointing stay at Hyatt Place Lake Mary. We had little to no running water for over 12 hours, and the hotel failed to notify guests of the city’s boil water notice. They continued serving unboiled water at breakfast, so my family unknowingly brushed our teeth and drank unsafe water. The next day there was no hot water. I asked the front desk and they instructed us to turn the water on and let it run because it took a long time to heat up, but after running for 1.5 hours it was still cold and we had to take freezing showers. The pool was dirty, the hot tub was half full and had food floating in it, and the pull-out couch was extremely uncomfortable. On top of that, there was no manager on duty during our entire stay, and no one followed up after checkout. This hotel is far below Hyatt standards, I would not stay here again.

When I checked in everything went well around 9:30p I found out the refrigerator wasn’t working.. called front desk and was told maintenance was gone for the day. Later that night I sent my daughter to buy us some snacks & drinks and the front desk attendant was on her phone being rude and refused to give my daughter a receipt for what was purchased. When checking out the front desk attendant ignored me so I left the keys on the counter & walked out …. The 11p-7a & 7a-3p made my family & I feel uncomfortable/unwelcomed.. and check out it 12p why does housekeeping come in your room unannounced at 10:45a & 11a . I don’t like that

Great room for the price! We’ve stayed here a couple times on the way to/from Sanford Orlando Airport. Property is safe and clean. Nice large room. They add many extra touches (breakfast options and presentation, pastry/dessert counter open throughout day, mini bar) that really make a difference! Staff have always been friendly and helpful. Definitely staying here again!

Comfortable place to stay. Very spacious and clean. Hot breakfast was nice. Very safe location near I4 and under 2 miles to a lot of great restaurants. Would stay again! We also went to the local zoo only ten minutes away. Great zoo- animals had lots of space to roam and were active.

Check In was great the 2 at the front desk were attentive, straight to the room to chill, happy hour was a bonus and my mango Margarita was amazing and the mozzarella cheese sticks were yummy too and cooked to perfection. The Breakfast the next day just needs to do away with those powder eggs and the sausage was definitely not cook enough but the potatoes were amazing!

The property was good. Room was nice and clean. The refrigerator didn’t work well and was missing the rails inside the door. The breakfast was terrible. Couldn’t eat the sausage patties. They were so dried out. Also eggs were cold. People were having to use the microwave to heat up their food.

I loved this place. A few things i did not like. Their pool..i would ever swim in it!!! That pool is small and nasty. The breakfast was so old nasty. Cold and pancakes very hard. A preferences that i dont like, but it is my preferences..i dont like the part you wash your hands for the bathroom being out in the room seperate where whimoever is staying with you can see you. I take a shower and brush my teeth before i get dressed so for me this was not good. There bathroom vent didnt work either. I didnt like that. I am huge on a bathroom vent when taking a shower as thr humidity from florida will cause issues if the door is closed and no vent. I live in florida so i did not like this. Other then those few things this hotel was so amazing and clean nice quiet area with check out being at noon time makes it even better. You dont feel rushed. The place is so clean! If i wasnt going to use the pool i would stay here again even though the sink for the bathroom is seperate, no bathroom vent, and bad brekafast i would still stay again if i wasnt using the pool because my small.preferences arent that big if a deal and the place is amazing and clean. If using the pool i would need to stay somewhere else as the pool is that bad. For the price you can beat this place!

Great stay! The room was bigger than we expected and very clean. Breakfast was fabulous; definitely a lot more options than other placed I've stayed. The real star was the lady that checked us in though. I've never had a check in experience as smooth as this. We were checked in, given keys and instructions and back out of the lobby in less than 2 minutes.
